Superb food with excellent service at an amazing price
Hotel vary good, staff lovely, food and service spot on. Over all lovely stay.
If I could give this hotel zero stars I would.
Firstly the rooms and facilities don't look like the photographs online. It's horribly dated and old fashioned. Wall paper peeling in the hallways, the rooms have some weird "old" smell, horrible mattress with springs that dig into you and the cheapest flattest pillows, blanket may as well be a sheet it's nearly paper thin. I didn't even know duvets got made that thin!
It's absolutely freezing. Don't expect to be warm.
And don't book during holidays. There was some sort of Christmas party downstairs and it's currently almost two am and I've had Drunk/high crowd of about 4-8 people in the room next door yelling, playing music and even came into the hall ways rapping on doors including mine. I've called downstairs to complain and apparently the gentleman was going to come upstairs. But that was over half an hour ago and they are making the same level of noise and nobody else has come upstairs except more people to their "room party"
Might as well stay in a trashy party hostel.
The pool was digusting and had all sorts of nasty things floating in it (definitely needed a clean) and the lining or what ever is on the ground in the pool needs repairing.
The whole place is in dire need of tlc, it's very obvious nobody cares. Mildew, peeling it's just grotty. I definitely won't be coming back here again.
Not to mention complete lack of parking. Don't expect to be able to park here. Stayed for two nights and had to pay for street parking both times because there wasn't any spots available.
The wonderful suncliff hotel, fabulously located on the cliff overlooking the sea. The hotel at present is going through major refurbishment in both bedrooms and restaurant

The review and photos of this hotel are not accurate. I booked the family room and completely regretted it. The bathroom desperately needs updating. We didn't want to use the shower because everything was stained, moldy, or rusted. Security is low, there is only one lock for the door using a key. It's a cheap option in a good location, but seriously consider staying somewhere else.
Excellent range of facilities. Great staff in all areas. Suncliffe needs urgent upgrate
Rooms of a reasonable standard. Has a severe lack of parking. Breakfast was ok. Though they could do with some new cutlery and crockery.
