Ocean World Adventure Park, Marina & Casino Review

Fascinating place, full of adventures with tender animals.

Bad, just a pool, horrible food, high prices, poor coordination with what they say on the phone when making the reservation and what it really is.

It's nice for a day with the family but, if you do any of the animal encounters, be prepared to pay out for the photos. 100 US is a bit much for a few pictures and a video. Other then that it's nice and clean and the staff are very helpful.

In itself very nice. However, if you book additionally the Encounter you should know what is worth, because the prices are very high. we were in the Dolphin Encounter in waist-deep water, according to the description you have then 30 minutes with the dolphins to play, poor and kiss. What you should know, however, is that you are there with about 15 to 20 people and therefore hardly has time with the Delhin. A photo with the dolphin and the family, one alone with dolphin, with kisses and hugs and one while feeding. However, the photos cost extra and are extremely expensive. Since you should rather make a photo with the dolphin after the dolphin show. It costs $ 20 and it prints and framed. Wennan swimming with the dolphins, that's certainly a great experience. I would not go to the Hai Encounter because I would have been more scared than fun. The bird, dolphin and sea lion show are very beautiful, the sharks just boring for the audience.

Spent 6 nights here for Hurricane Laura. Excellent protection from weather. Minor surge. Very professional and friendly staff.

Recently visited this place with my family and we loved it. All their shows are pretty original giving them a Latin theme. The games and activities were pretty fun and the staff were extremely nice and helpful. The only thing we wished they had was an activity or area to do without a life jacket on. Even tho they have lifeguards and swimming areas they require a life jacket at all times it becomes tedious at times. Over all this place is a must visit specially if traveling with the family.

It's excellent, especially the karaoke nights at the Ocean World Terrace!

My wife and I attended the Bravissimo evening show only, not the ocean world adventure park. The show itself was enjoyable, nothing amazing, but it was fun. However, the transportation provided by Ocean World back to the hotels for guests was purposefully delayed several times, despite all of the guests being ready to leave. This was clearly done to keep guests at the casino. Shady gambling and unusual betting rules that we got to learn as we went. Good dancers, it's a shame they force the casino on guests. Stick to ocean world during the day and go somewhere else for evening entertainment.

Nice place. A bit overpriced. They have a nice beach. Plan for full day.

It is a unique experience, you can swim with the dolphins if you wish, good shows with the animals, your children will love it, it is an excellent place to realize the fusion of man-animals, how they communicate and how they learn from us. It is advisable to carry a good camera and that it is protected so that it does not get water. The photos are highly recommended so that you have these excellent memories.

The place is very beautiful, they just have to add more styles of slides and include drinks in one of their combos even if they make it more expensive.

Very nice place, the only thing that I do not like is that like me to any Dominican is not to let them take a picture with the dolphins I find it very bad because they charge you separately for sharing with the dolphins but does not include a photo That is the most beautiful memory and do not let them take a picture I find it horrible, all for the money because the picture is taken by them and then they sell it super expensive.

You should come here for the encounters with the animals, these are great and good fun. For anything else, it is a money wise tourist trap.
The 3 water slides are okay, but in need of refurbishing. They even tried to charge us extra to go on the slides. The beach and swimming pool areas are okay as well, but small. There is no real access to the ocean. You can snorkel in a reef, but it is in a tank and you only get to make 1 round in max 10 minutes. Don't expect a real coral reef. The shows are very short and the Amazon part/ bird sanctuary isn't really worth it. So don't buy just the day pass, because the park is really about the animal interaction. These encounters are quite expensive as well (200$ per person for swimming with dolphins in a basin.)
Buying 1 photo will set you back 15$.

We had a fun day but it was quite expensive for a "water park" without much to do aside from the shows and encounters.

It's a great place for FAMILY Fun... you get to interact with the wildlife and at the same time receive some education! Awesome place for all ages!!

If you want to have fun as if you were in the ocean, Ocean World is the ideal place to enjoy with family and as a couple

Nice water park. It was fairly easy to get in and out of. It was not crowded when I went but even then getti g into the shows was difficult. The seating was also very uncomfortable. I still enjoyed it though.

Very entertaining for children, they should only improve meals

Fascinating experience, a beautiful place although I do not like to see animals outside their habitat, but since they are accustomed to being there for a long time, because you have to take care of them because in their natural habitat they would not know how to defend themselves and act naturally against predators; but otherwise, it is a beautiful place of fresh and salt water, waterfalls, slides, trees and a friendly treatment, children enjoy a world and it is a place you will never forget and you will like to come back.

We really enjoyed our experience. This is a humane rated resort which is rigorous, only reason we did it. We did dolphin encounter. We had great guides, my son s arm was broken and he couldn t get in water, but the trainer gave him extra attention and let him feed dolphins. Wish I knew his name. He was amazing. Dolphins looked happy and healthy. We bought the photo package, totally worth it. We also really enjoyed the bird sanctuary, this is a great place. Please support it!

I haven't went everywhere but man is it beautiful and there a gift shop

All very nice, hygienic, entertaining. But, they should improve the quality of the buffet food. .

Went here thru a carnival cruise line excursion. Had a great time exploring the place and doing the dolphin swim.

Tourist trap but is worth a visit. Great for kids and families.

Well, I had visited this place 8 years ago the last time I was in the country and the truth has been worse .... I had a very nice memory and with this visit I had a bad taste in my mouth the truth.

The cost is too high for what they offer, you get bored.

The dolphin encounter was awesome! Worth every penny!! We had a great time!
