Received my first massage @ Oasis and it was FANTASTIC!! I've had alot of massages over the years and they each had their qualities and their faults. I especially don't care for a massage where I feel the need to keep up conversation when I'm trying to relax. There was no pressure here, the strength was absolutely perfect, and I'm already ready to bok my next appt. Thanks Everyone!!

My review is a month after my visit, and I didn t think I would write a review, but I was still bothered by my experience so I decided to go ahead. The salon was able to get me in at short noticed, which was so appreciated. I just moved to the area so I don t have a go-to gal yet. I booked with Raven for 1p. I showed up 5 min early and ended up waiting past 1p for her. After our consultation, Raven began dry cutting, we moved to shampoo, then a few more snips, and she started blow drying. When she began blow drying I was concerned she was finishing because I felt like I just got there. But I was right, she was finishing. She didn t do any styling and I left feeling like I had a Wayne s World mullet. I realize I asked for a trim, I m trying to grow my hair out, but I feel like I had the EXACT SAME SHAPE as I did before. When I got to my car I looked at the clock and it said 1:36!!!! I ve never had a 36 minute haircut including: the stylist being late, a consultation, cut, shampoo, cut again, blow dry, and checkout in 36 min.... On top of it all Raven didn t seem like she wanted to be cutting my hair. She didn t reciprocate my conversation and I felt awkward. I ended up going to Crush Salon a week later and where they spent 1 1/2 hrs giving me a new cut.

Went in to get a couple of gift cards. Woman behind the counter wanted all kinds of information from me. I told her I was paying cash and she said she couldn t give me gift cards unless I gave her name and phone number. Funny, the last time I did this a few months ago the girl didn t need any of that. I could tell she was getting aggravated and she said she s worked here for years and that s the way they ve always done it. I said fine I ll give you a bogus name and number, I don t like giving all that information out on a cash transaction. She said she couldn t do that. Wow, I don t want to be in their database so I will never do this again.

I went in last Thursday (12/10) for a massage and a hair cut/color. The massage was great! The hair cut is why I feel compelled to leave a review. I went in with hair that was uneven from previous damage and wanted it all evened out and needed a color touch up. I also didn t like my bangs and asked the stylist to fix it in whichever manner she felt best contrary to this review I m not really picky about my hair. I tried to make conversation and the stylist literally talked to me like I was a 5 year old and didn t seem happy that I was there lmaoo. She also let me know as soon as she was done with my appointment she d get to go home early and spend time with her boyfriend, so I think she just wanted me gone.

She spent a total of 30 minutes on my hair. The color was splotchy (you can still see my roots and my ends were lighter than the rest of my head, and I wasn t going for a balayage). She also only snipped two pieces of my hair? When i had a chunk of hair that was, at least, 3 in. longer than the rest of my head she somehow missed that. She also didn t really do anything to my bangs besides comb them. Basically I left with a mullet. Not even the cute Miley Cyrus version, like the I date my cousin kind.

To be fair, I didn t say anything or asked her to fix anything. However, I felt uncomfortable and unwelcomed. I also ended up paying over $100 for a awful haircut/color that, again, only lasted around 30 minutes. I feel like the hairstylist has an obligation to make sure your hair looks good when you leave their chair, and that just didn t happen.

The stylist also knew I was graduating from college and walking in a few days and STILL let me leave her chair with a mullet. My mom literally had to cut so much of my hair to fix it enough for me to feel confident walking across the stage and get my diploma. I only went to Oasis because I had a gift card. They not only lost my business but all my self confidence. I can t wait to spend more money at a different salon to fix their mistake.

I had a great experience at Oasis! I love the atmosphere and the cute little boutique at the front of the salon. Shawn did my cut and balayage and it turned out amazing. I will definitely be back!
