We have been in our Oasis home for 6 months now. I first have to say, we love our home. As with any build, there will be issues and our build was no different.
We built on vacant land. This caused several unforeseen issues and cost over runs. Our design process was longer than most due mainly to our decision to significantly change our design and virtually start over; but weather and crew availability played their parts as well. Kevin Collins gave an immense amount of time to us in the design of our home. We were able to customize the design and plan out the home the way we wanted, which we love. Kevin's added touches to the design and his suggestions of certain materials used was very much appreciated.
We did not shop around, nor did we compare pricing for the same size/type of home. Our costs: build, site prep, infrastructure, etc. came out to about $185/sq. ft. Again, this was a custom home on a vacant lot. I'm sure other builders can pass on cost savings in a subdivision, but when you choose all materials used for just your build, it gets more expensive.
There were many contractors hired by Oasis to assist with finishing our home. Some were excellent, some were not. Again Kevin addressed our issues and tried his best to make things right; even coming over himself to fix items. This home is our third new home (two manufactured, one stick built) and our first with Oasis . Far and away, this is the best built home out of the three. So far, the "nuts and bolts" of the home are very satisfying. Now that we are in the home, the few issues that have come to light have been handled with great professionalism by Jennifer Scheff. We appreciate Jenn's communication and her attention.
No big project like this will go completely smooth, but Kevin's willingness to work with us and address any issues that did come up created a lasting relationship with our family. Thank you, Kevin.

Thank you Oasis Homes and Benchmark for helping us make our dream become a reality, after years of owning our property you have built us an amazing retirement home.
Our project started with several meetings in Kevin Collin s office, we talked about our wants and needs. Kevin gave us many great ideas and shared his architectural knowledge from years of experience, together we came up with our perfect custom home plans.
Our original plan was to build modular but unfortunately legal issues with our association changed our plans. Quickly the team at Oasis and Benchmark went the extra mile, changed courses and soon we were using our original plans to stick build our home.
Duane s wonderful crew along with all the crafts were always friendly, professional and did amazing work. We received compliments on the crews work almost every time the building inspector came, saying what a great job they were doing for us . Our forman Kellie and Christine our project manager always had time to listen to our ideas and concerns, quickly addressing them and all the while making sure construction went along smooth and on schedule.
As in any build there were issues that come up but problems were always addressed to assure we were happy with the finished project. After moving in we did have to address a few concerns as I guess any build would have, most items were handles quickly but some issues did take a little longer to address because of weather and availability of crews.
We have been in our house 2 years now and Oasis is still there for us if we call with any questions and we have been assured they will be there for us in the future if we need them.
We are very happy with our new home and would recommend Oasis and Benchmark to anyone who is considering a modular or stick built home

This is the dream home that Oasis Homes help us to realize. They met every expectation as to design and layout; our twin girls love their Jack-n-Jill Suite! This was our first, and hopefully last, build. The only recommendation we would have for a first-time home builder is to have patience in buckets...it will pay off with your expectations, and then some, being met.

Kevin did a great job designing our home and helping with financing. Deana was great with the selections process, and when we were rushing to get our kids transitioned into new schools, Christine picked-up the ball and scored a game-wining touchdown when it was 4th and goal with no time left on the clock.

Everyone was great. From day one, our goal was to have a "turn-key" home, and there was not a single "extra thing" that we asked for and was not completed.

We had Oasis Homes build our dream home over 8 years ago, and have never regretted it. We needed a home that would fit the specific needs of my wife, who is wheelchair bound. They not only met those needs, but blended it all in perfectly.
We truly are thankful for all their help. We would highly recommend them.

We are very happy with our Oasis manufactured home, it is well made and comfortable to live in. Carl helped during the planning and has great knowledge and expertise. The planning phase is very good, with people experienced in building homes, the selection of upgrades is easy with the help of experienced people. The job site activities were good, skilled tradesmen that cared about their work. Sometimes the weather was an issue, can't control that. Project manager Troy, is super, he knows what to do, how to do it, and it's done. Overall, it was great, many people all working together with a great result.

I called to inquire about having a home built and I spoke with Stephanie. I asked what the general price range starts at, and she had a slight attitude and would not give me a direct answer. How hard is it to give someone a general price range?

I understand the prices vary, but seeing as though this is a popular question for people who are looking to buy a home, you should have an answer to this question. Outside of not being able to answer my question, I really didn't like Stephanie's attitude. She seemed like she really didn't want to talk on the phone and didn't want my business. Red flag to not do business with this company.

My family is so grateful to have had Kevin Collins and his staff at Oasis Homes build our home for us. We have been in our new house for almost a year now and it definitely feels like home again.
We lost our house due to a fire about 2 1/2 years ago and Kevin Collins really stepped up and went far beyond his responsibilities in helping out our family. We had several problems dealing with our insurance company to say the least, but with Kevin s excellent knowledge and experience he helped us in getting what we needed to get back into our home.
From the design of our home to the final touches of finishing our home, Oasis Homes did a wonderful job of meeting our wants and needs. We are so happy and excited about our new home! Even today, if we have any questions or concerns, the staff at Oasis is just a phone call away and always willing to listen and help.
I have to say it again, my family is very lucky and blessed to have had Oasis Homes by our side in building our new home!!
