Oasis Fuerteventura Review

Stayed in 2012 and 2014. Lovely area. All inclusive is basic but something for everyone. Would recommend

the hotel was fine but the entertainment was annoying the pool area was ruined by this loud tacky show that made it impossible to relax.

Hotel taken over 2 months ago by Marmara following bankruptcy at the base a beautiful hotel with small apartment style rooms but dilapidated hotel to renovate entirely mold in the bathroom black tub seals ... bedding to be reviewed Also. ..cleaning also and change of sheets and towels

In short, a tip to avoid, I am currently in recourse against Marmara.

The food is just horrible overcooked, no flavors and no typical dishes, presence of cockroach in the dining room (no I'm not exaggerating)

Great place to chill food good and staff all friendly.
Nothing to much trouble to arrange or help.

Food was cold hardly ate in sure to this but apartment was passable for a three Star hotel and the price

Nicely located only 10 mins walk into main town.spacious rooms and well kept public areas.plenty of choice food wise only complaint certain items in cafeteria not well set out....no teaspoons near hotdrinks machine....no butter near bread area and food not always hot.
Apart from that i would recommend and i would certainly return again myself.

Nice holiday village with very good host, suitable meal all day for the 1st time we are satisfied the weather is nice

I found that the staff was very kind impeccable hospitality some say about eating me I consider that when you have a choice of a dozen dishes there is no criticism because the tastes and colors do not argue the site was always clean and when we needed anything we even immediately had nothing to complain about

The hotel is in a great location, the food is quite good and the rooms are spacious.

Clean room with lots of space and a beautiful terrace for us to all sit on to catch some sunsun. Cot was available on arrival and was already in the room, which we asked for via email. Hotel is situated within walking distance from a beautiful beach and the town center.

The food is terrible however. We're not snobs, and we're certainly not fussy with food, but the food here has grown tiresome even after just 3 days. Despite being on all inclusive we will be eating out more.

Despite the food situation we are enjoying our stay. The pools are salt water but they're fine if you're just having a quick dip. The entertainment team are good with the kids. In fact all staff have been friendly and helpful.

I'd recommend this place to anyone on a budget.

Hello, stay October 2018 catastrophic !!!
Food poisoning of several sick tour operator, two of my children and me and my companion who reported from this trip intoxication to France! The worst is that when we go explain the situation, we are told that it would be linked to alcohol abuse ... alcohol that my children, my partner and I do not consume!
Not even attention or kindness to get a doctor ....
This club is to avoid!

A team leader marmara at the top! Very good atmosphere! Good infrastructure, only negative point, the restaurant is really not great!

In need of a good refurb, all the staff we had contact with were very friendly and helpful. Air con should be available without extra charge

It needs air conditioning rooms are 2 hot .. some of the staff need to be more polite. It needs living up in the evenings maybe a adult disco as well as kids disco. A bit more atmosphere in the evening and it would be great.. ON PLUS SIDE 2 FANTASTIC SALT WATER SWIMMING POOLS. .

Very nice room, sea water swimming pool, one of which is heated, all located almost in the city center with the possibility of hiking on foot.

In places, however, I found a huge worm here, not once in a room, which informs me about the incompetence of desinfection

Outside school period is livable, the rooms are large but poorly isolated phonically and without air conditioning. The animation staff is very friendly (although personally I do not participate in the animations) the staff of the home has still progress in French (but it will come the switch under Mamara is recent). In terms of catering, then there is a big job, it will have to recruit real cooks for the moment it is rather lamentable and the wine can be qualified without problem of ignoble vinasse, but be positive see leave the club without having took 5 kg, with a liver still fit

It's so nice and clean and the food is varied and lots to choose from and nice. Definitely come here again and this is only my 3rd day

Animation at the top by stealing a blanket of a girl in the room of the hotel by the housewife jail jallucine first time I travel with my daughter and the housekeeper releases the blanket of my life s ..... serious I remain polite I find you I degme ode my own hands

The location spot on, the rooms tired but large and OK, the staff great, the smaller pool is heated and a blessing brilliant! But the pool needs maintenance, loose tiles etc. Where this place really let's itself down is the food. Way below average. We stop in the canaries normally twice per year, the foods just not up to standard. Needs at least ventilation in the rooms. There's no aircon, but you can rent a desk fan for 2.50 a day!!
Most of the kids vending machines/games pool etc out of order. We lost a couple of euros. Would we come again ? Self catering yes, if they improved the food defiantly yes. Otherwise no sorry.

The place is clean and my apartment was more than i thought it was going to be. Entertainment on during the day and evenings for kids and adults. Food is alright, always managed to find something... didn't eat at the hotel every night though lol

Spent 4 nights here self-catering so cannot comment on the food. Hotel was very clean, but very outdated. Had a nightmare finding our way round the complex especially at night. Short walk to the main strip and local beach. Pools lovely, plenty of sunbeds.

Good location in the north of the island meal not bad housekeeping damage a little go activity mediocre damage .... fortunately I did not pay very dear holidays maos I did not imer this island its not my fold at all changing climate and delivery of the hotel for the visit too expensive because at 5 min a shopping center offers the same activities 3 times cheaper damage to take us for wallets on legs

Great location next to all the traders next to the beaches the bus is not far to go to a very beautiful white sand beach the animators super nice very good animation very clean.

Mainly french here went down for lunch today and they had no food left so had to eat out room clean food has good days and bad main entertainment is in french

A fantastic family holiday resort. Excellent staff. Beautiful gardens and setting. A mixed hotel with both French and English but great atmosphere. Definitely would return

1.The entertainment crew are friendly but are not the best at entertaining, they single people out as the speak French and when entertaining speak in French, when playing games they are taking in French and only French taking part, then us English can t take part
2. The toilets are always dirty and the floor is always wet and dangerous for anyone to walk on
3.rubish is constantly being blown onto the from of our room
4.we have a pipe that has been leaking and making the floor soaking, we told reception but yet to be fixed
5.the food selection is very poor, at the snack bar there were about 10-15 flys on top of hotdog sausages
6. At the pool the floor tiles are cracked and broken, if stood on could probably cut feet

A great holiday for Christmas with the family. Super friendly staff, decent meal for a buffet even if the desserts are not the strong point, but it is varied every day. Well placed compared to the tourist place but our most beautiful day was the one where we rented a car to sink into the island. The club's infrastructures, although well maintained, are starting to age. The heated swimming pool is pleasant in winter.

Arrived at the airport .... no reception by a person from marmara ... a huge queue to find his bus !!
We had a great vacation! Beautiful swimming pool and skating rink.
For the restaurant we found something to eat. Here we privilege the quantity !!!!
Beautiful beach and a lot of shops .... there is what !!!
Towel changed only once !!! Room made 5 days a week !!! pleasant staff.

The best one is necessarily that of marmara !!!
I wanted to thank Julie who made the mini club just for my daughter.
She loved it and will keep her moments in her memory. A great person!

The English clientele does not have the same education as us nor respect for others but that is not why we did not sympathize. Memories full of head ...
Review an improvement for the kitchen ... with real specialties for example ... but a lot of pizza pate and fried quantity ...

The rooms were dirty and inadequately cleaned. Everywhere tiles were broken. The bed was very uncomfortable and worn. The food was on the first day still tolerated, the remaining days you had to think twice if you eat in the hotel. The function room is very dark and it smells musty. Cocktails from the all-inclusive offer are disgusting. The location of the area is very nice and you can quickly reach the beach or the center.

Horrible rooms rubbish food and all French entertainment worst holiday of my life room was disgusting broken beds not enough of anything to cater for 4 people chipped bath that my son cut himself on dirty on arrival and sockets hanging of the wall not interested on reception didn't care whole place in need of repair

Conveniently located for shopping and only a short walk to the beach. Rooms could do with being updated but they are certainly liveable. No air conditioning/heating but I'm told you can rent a fan if needs be! The food is nice. I'm traveling with my autistic son and one of the waiters makes his dislike of him very clear by always making obvious checks whenever we are in the area he works in. Other than that we are having a great time! The room cleaner is absolutely lovely and very helpful.

Location very good, animation top, very rich medium food

A very pleasant week in a rather nice complex. However, some "big" downsides, the food is poor, the dishes are not varied and despite the evening plancha we constantly find pizza, fries, pasta, etc.
There may be a little lack of activities despite the fact that the animators are very nice. The rooms are poorly cleaned as are the exterior facilities (vomited in the aisle to go to the room appearing on Tuesday evening and disappearing on Thursday morning ...)

The hotel is based on English customers in terms of food, entertainment and facilities. "Noise" around the pool area most of the day in the form of entertainment for the audience (read children). This continues in the nightclub in the evening so loud that it is not to be there. The restaurant is more of a cafeteria. The kitchen staff looks like someone who has been trampled on. Sour and in no way serviceminded. The food is cafeteria-like and genderless with no flavors. In the pool, the tiles have broken on the stairs so that there is a good chance of getting your foot cut. The only praise I can bestow on this hotel is the staff at receptinon who knuckle with a smile on their face. I will never return to this hotel. Falk Lauritsen should be ashamed to have it in their selection of hotels.

Top and very clean hotel with 2 large pools of seawater. We were 3 adults, and had accommodation for 4, with small terrace. The animators are very friendly, and do everything possible to be nice. We can not necessarily say the same 2/4 persoe the hotel. Indeed 23hc is the end of service, and not 23h04 (finally liquors very different from France.La is identical, on the other hand the water at the bar is not the all inclusive totally abnormal s

In April, the place is cool enough, staff are friendly and will do anything for you. Don't know what the place would be like as our room had no air con if it was above 24c

Just got back from ocean village Fuerteventura on the 5th jan 2018 we had a week there we where self catering the rooms where very clean and the cleaners did a good job every one we delt with there was friendly we thought it was situated in a good spot only 5 or ten mins walk from the main strip pool was very clean on the main strip you could eat out every night for a month and not eat in the same place very good for a winter break looking at some of the other comments sound like some people won t five star for three star money if u won t five star food get real dont go allinclusive yes they where doing some renovation work but did not bother us just means it might be even better next time we go would defiantly recomend this place

Great hotel But one fault, it seems incredible that with the food that spoils! They put us on a picnic of shame we didn't give credit. Half a sandwich of ham and a half of cheese. Two fruits, package of cookies and water.

A week spent at the Oasis Village, great moments the home entertainment animation teams are at the top. Little things to improve like everywhere but otherwise very well

Friendly hotel, very well located. The beach, the port and the shops are nearby. The buffets are varied.

This place is no more than a 2 star in my eyes.
Totally one sided for the French for entertainment. They have nothing really for the English and can barely understand us. The cleaning of the rooms is far from good.i no one thing and that is I won't be coming back .

Hotel is as expected from visiting 4yrs ago it was great then however on our return now hotel is still in similar condition a few rooms are being updated much to the displeasure of our relatives being woken every morning around 6.30 am in the apartment next door them doing building work yet at this moment in time (yes we are still on resort whilst writing a review) the builder is laid fast asleep 3pm on the counter talk about taking the ****. Now to my real gripe the food is inedible breakfast lunch and dinner meals are garbage is the only way to discribe the mess they serve up here not fit to give a homeless dog unless you want to give it the diarrhea yes me and the wife has had it whilst we are and now we are eating out our stomachs have started to settle to sum up the hotel it's not very clean as the cleaners are few and far between and not best at cleaning then the food I would advise save your money on all inclusive or go elsewhere what makes matters worse is even the locals ask have you been able to eat at oasis village!!!!! The other issue is booking with Thomas cook as a Lola and Bernie's club they never told us that the entertainment is all in French ??? Through tui not Thomas cook as I believed booking through Thomas cook..

Excellent choice of food at all meals, some really good seafood on offer.
Rooms were vast and clean, a little outdated but nothing garish.
Facilities were well maintained and staff very friendly and helpful.

We booked a stay for three people, my wife, me and our daughter with disabilities, they booked us a room of the three that have disabled people, but they do not have a kitchen, so you are forced to use their dining services, I asked them a change as close as possible to the pool, due to my daughter's disability, and the only alternative that they gave us was in the area D.la farther away and worse located, because of our experience I do not recommend it if you go with people with disabilities Functional, rust in the ventilation grilles of the bathroom and damaged towels, I wanted to rent a fan, 20 deposit and 15 a day. An authentic desproposito, I will return to fuerteventura but surely to any establishment of this chain.

Second stay at the Oasis Village and still satisfied. Yes, this is an establishment that is already a certain age but is clean. When I read some totally critical comments about food or cleanliness, I tell myself that editors would like a five-star at a floor price. Because indeed, this property is not expensive and yet we have always found a buffet to our liking for each meal. Cleaning done every other day is not suitable? Seriously, do you change sheets and towels every other day at home? In short, if you are permanently dissatisfied, it is better indeed not to come and leave your place to those who will appreciate!

We stayed in the structure in September, our experience was positive and pleasant.
The overall structure is good and very large, clean rooms and very friendly staff.
Special mention must be made of the large and well-organized swimming pool.
The food is good with buffet service, the menu changes every day with references to the typical cuisine of various countries. The affordable all inclusive service is recommended.

Nice place, very nice and very dynamic animators, on the other hand very disappointed of the restaurant, the breakfast is the only meal which is good, very little choice on the level of the meats and not terrible.

My review is you get what you pay for. All bad reviews for this hotel hasn't taken that in to account.

We payed 500euro 1week from Stockholm. All inclusive is of corse then nothing fancy. We are out maybe 5 och 7 nights. Rest of the food for breakfast and lunch is ok.

One bad thin it you are here early February like us the weather. We had to have jackets and the rooms gets cold by night. Perhaps 15 degrees. But you have some blankets to use.
