The company currently holds interests in several producing fields including Abo Field located offshore Nigeria which produces approximately 40k barrels per day (bpd) gross operated capacity.
Midstream Storage & Transportation
In midstream storage & transportation segment,Oando owns strategic assets that enable it to transport crude oil from producing fields to refineries for processing into finished products such as gasoline,diesel,kerosene etc.The Company owns an extensive network of pipelines that span over 5kms across West Africa region.Oandos' subsidiary Apapa SPM Limited operates West Africas' largest single buoy mooring system located offshore Lagos,Nigeria.This facility enables large tankers up to VLCCs(very large crude carriers)to load crude oil directly from deepwater without having to berth at shore terminals thereby reducing turnaround time for vessels significantly.
Downstream Marketing & Retailing
In downstream marketing & retailing segment,Oandos' subsidiary OMP(Oil Marketing Plc.)is responsible for distribution,sales,and marketing activities.The Company operates over 400 retail outlets across West Africa region under various brands including "OANDO","Kenny Gas" etc.Omp also supplies aviation fuel(Jet A1)to airlines operating within Nigerian airspace through its joint venture partnership with NAHCO(Nigerian Aviation Handling Company).
Power Generation
In power generation segment,Oandos' subsidiary Alausa Power Limited(APL)is responsible for developing,rehabilitating,and operating power plants across Nigeria.APL currently operates two thermal power plants located at Akute,Ikorodu,Lagos State respectively.These facilities have combined installed capacity of approximately 50MW enough to provide electricity supply for about 100k households annually.The Company plans to expand this capacity significantly over next few years by investing heavily into renewable energy sources such as solar,wind etc.to reduce carbon footprint while increasing access to clean energy sources especially in rural areas where grid connectivity remains low or non-existent altogether.
