Very nice hotel. Friendly. Staff, great price, and convenient location. They have tried to update the hotel but it def needs some love. It's old age still shows, even through the enhanced updated they have done.

carpet in the room was stained, at least 30 people in the pool throwing things all over the place, no indoor got tub. We ordered room service which tasted great and wasn't too terribly overpriced. morning breakfast was good too.

I had a fantastic room with golf course views and it was very clean. The bar and live band was also super cool with windows over looking the golf course and a nice lounge area. I was impressed !

A hotel sitting on a beautiful golf course. This Hilton has a sleek and modern lobby with layered areas for seating, all surrounded by a great view of the golf course and landscaping. The staff were very friendly and accommodating to us the entire stay. The elevators could benefit from a modern upgrade, and the rooms were average (there were spots on some of the furniture in one of our rooms). Overall a good resort to relax, play golf, or enioy being away. A modern upgrade to some infrastructure and cleanliness, and this would definitely be a 4 star hotel.

Professional staff, nice looking room, comfy bed. Lacks room amenities that conflict with "Resort" label, basics such as refrigerator & microwave. Water & coffee is offered, but at expensive prices. More invasive nickel & dime methods.

There were two adults and 4 kids. We could not get a roll away bed. The heat would not work so we had to call the front desk. The technician did come to fix it. There is not a whirlpool here. Other than that, the bed was comfortable. The shower was nice. The water pressure was just the way I like it. The swimming pool was clean. I would recommend it for a couple, but not for kids.

I have been here for the last two weeks for work and I can't say I am impressed. The carpets are fancy and the beds are nice, but that is about it. The reason it loses three stars:

1) There is quite a bit of mold in my bathroom. I'm not talking a little bit of mildew on the ceiling, I'm talking a mess ton of white, black, yellow, and brown mold above the shower and climbing out of the wallpaper. Some of it appears to be fuzzy but I'm not touching it to confirm.

2) The food is good, but I've had issues with the wait staff completely ignoring me and then trying to charge me for things I didn't order. I watched the wait staff stop at the table at one side, ask if things were well and if they need anything else, walk directly past me and ignore me, and then ask the table on the other side. I was polite, courteous, and not demanding at all - why I got bad service is beyond me.

3) The drinks are ridiculously expensive. I was charged $11 for a sprite and well vodka. If I wanted to pay that for a drink, I would go to a high end dance club and not the hotel bar.

4) The cold breakfast of cereal and a muffin that is *free* at EVERY other hotel costs $12 here. Seriously? What exactly am I getting for that extra $12 (in addition to my already expensive room)? The hot breakfast (bacon, eggs, sausage, and french toast) costs $20 after tax. I can get the same thing for $7 at Denny's (and I will from here on out).

Without question, I will be staying at a different hotel during my next trip to Chicago. Even though work is paying for my stay, I don't feel like giving them as much money as I am for what I am getting.

First off, checkin and checkout is very simple if you are a Holton honors member. Also wifi is free through your Hilton Honors membership as well so get one. The layout can be a bit confusing at first with different levels offering a restaurant, pools, golf shop and other outside amenities. The guestrooms have a nice layout however the bathrooms are small unless you have a corner guestroom or the balcony suite. Cleanliness needs to be monitored better in the rooms. I've been to this resort more than 3 times and notice a pattern that cleanliness in the rooms is not top priority unless you are in the room with the maid staff while they clean.Happy hour is Tuesday thru Thursday 3pm to 6pm. Fish Fry meals are on Fridays with live guitar player music on the lower level patio. Pool and hot tub is another great area that thankfully they do keep clean. Relaxong spa services are available and they can offer room spa services upon request. As I said, this is my 4th time at this particular hotel so it's not a bad resort. Staff is very friendly and help you with whatever you need.

Overall, it was a great experience and I will be back. Room was very clean and modern. Bed was comfy. Bathroom was pretty small, but it was all I needed. Staff were all very nice.

The executive lounge for diamond members was great. They had happy hour in the lounge for a couple hours with drinks and some food.

Hotel restaurants are usually not very good, but this one surprised me. The food and service were both excellent.

I would echo some of the other posts. Nice large hotel on a beautiful golf course . Rooms could be better, my curtains had rips in them, some stains on the chair and carpet has ripples. Staff is very nice and housekeeping seems to do a good job( other than some hair that was not mine in the shower). Just time for some upgrades .

Check your bank account because they charged my credit card 3 times for incidentals (inwhich $75 per day was ridiculous) $900.00!! Pool closed early this year, but no signs were posted and the best time to get in the pool is after the sun goes down. The pool was so crowded one day that they ran out of towels. There was fire/smoke in the resort, we stayed outside for more than 2 hours, no one never came out back to the pool area to inform us, where to go, all we saw was staff taking chairs out front and blinking lights. No Evacuation Plan given to guest, some people were still in their rooms looking out of the windows. Had to ask the maid for wash cloths daily, kept leaving hand towels. Had hair in my food at the bar !! Goodbye Hilton Chicago, I'm done.

We booked rooms for my daughter's wedding at this hotel. We were upset when we got an email stating that if you wanted to use the pool it was going to be $100 extra/night only a couple days before our arrival. This is a very bad policy and most of us were very upset, as we only wanted to use the pool for a little while. The reason I'm giving 5 stars is Rebecca, at the front desk was extremely nice and tried to do whatever should could to make it up to us. She was so nice, I couldn't give less than 5 stars!

No sleeping allowed here. The night we stayed here was loaded with kids everywhere and a lot of teenagers hanging out unsupervised.it was very loud in the lobby and kids running and screaming. Then There was a fire and the entire hotel was evacuated. We finally were allowed to go to our room around 1a. The room was comfortable. We were hoping to sleep in until 9a but was woken up by kids were running down the halls and screaming and a group leader banging on several doors to wake up their group. I was shocked to experience this at a Hilton and it felt like we were at a best western or motel 8. This was a horrible experience. Check out is at 12p and house keeping knocking on all the doors yelling "house keeping" starting at 8:30a. It would have been easier to get sleep in the car.

I was not disappointed for the 16 days I resided in this hotel. The food quickly became old; however, the service quality was fantastic. I felt welcome and enjoyed the ability to play tennis, swim, exercise, and golf. The location is a great for conference venues. The only downside is this hotel is far from downtown Chicago and there isn't much nightlife in the surrounding area.
