Great sound and good stage view seating. Very easy to find and efficient courteous staff. Bar prices are usual captive audience prices. Saw the Australian Pink Floyd there and it was a very good venue.

Second visit tonight to watch Supergrass after seeing Mogwai and the Twilight Sad last year - as a venue it's fairly uninspiring and uniform, with typically pricey beer (true of most places now sadly...) but sound quality at both gigs has been amazing, staff are polite and thanks to the fact there's a balcony and the stage is raised pretty high it's unlikely that you won't be able to see the band unless you're shorter (as a 6'2" person, I don't tend to have much trouble...).

Dead easy to find, with parking at moorhouse lane only a few minutes walk, and lots of good places to eat close by as well.

A nicely sized venue with reasonable access and a good sound system. Beer prices are ridiculous but that's always the case in these places isn't it? Floors sticky, probably a terrifying place to look at with the lights on.

Pretty decent venue if you like the more intimate style. Only fits around 2000 people in at capacity with stalls on the stage level and a balcony area up top. Staff seek friendly enough and there's a couple of bars. Although beware they charge a fortune! They have a good range of bands on too.

Good gig venue, with pretty good acoustics. For those of you that will remember this is the old Town & Country and really hasn't changed since those day.
Very convenient for going to a gig and then jumping on a bus home as it's right in the city centre. Also not too far from the train station.
Plenty of bars and eatery's nearby for those of you peckish before a gig and can think of nothing better than jumping in the mosh pit all full of Thai food.
