Attended the BTS Club night. It was amazing. The DJ danced and joined in, engaging everyone. The music flowed brilliantly, the atmosphere was amazing, couldn't fault anything!

Awful venue, I generally like small, intermet gigs, but this was ridiculous. No sloped floor like in Brixton so if you're stuck behind taller people you won't see a thing, dont bother with upstairs. Bar was understaffed, so it took ages to get served. Pretty disappointed.
Good venue, I have been there many times before to party with friends.
Nice little venue. I was lucky enough to be down the front but you could get a great view from anywhere.
Haven't gone yet.I have just booked a VIP ticket for my disabled daughter as I was told to book and pay for the ticket then ring up to arrange disabled details and to add carer. However not as easy as it sounds spent most of the day trying to get someone to answer the phone when they did I had to be transferred but no reply was promised that the person would ring me back today but no call received. Now I have to do an email hoping they will reply to that if not I will have to ring them again. In the mean time my disabled daughter is getting very upset that her sad will not be able to go in with her. So far I'm not impressed with the service hopefully it will get better
It was fun, I saw The Adictd and drank Guinness.
I don't remember what kind of drink I wanted, but I think it might have been Budweiser.
Please add Budweiser to your drinks.
On the first occasion it was a really good night ! busy, and lots of people to talk and mingle with...However, on the second occasion it was absolutely dead, and it was a Saturday.
Good size for small bands. A few different bars to get drinks during a show as well.
Decent size venue with various rooms, bit expensive at the bar
The venue is great, good atmosphere and good facilities. Saw The Cult and they were outstanding. However the drinks prices are nothing short of scandalous. Don't buy a drink at this venue! Go to Wetherspoons round the corner, the drinks are a third of the price.
Amazing support from staff
My daughter has Asperger s and for her that means that any crowded area, especially a live gig is fraught with obstacles and anxieties. We had tickets for the Hayley Kiyoko gig last night and I cannot praise the staff at the O2 Islington, especially David, Chris, Ellie and Louise enough for the help that they provided in setting things up beforehand and for making things go smoothly on the day to reduce my daughter s anxieties and enable her to be blown away by Hayley Kiyoko! Thank you.
Small concert venue with good acoustics, great atmosphere
Awesome venue, shame about the friday night curfew for live bands
Love this venue! Must be loudest venue in London. I had an ear infection and was almost deaf and I thought it was loud. Alcohol selection like all o2 venues is terrible.
Great music venue my first concert there 10 out of 10
Over priced drinks and staff were so what unfriendly and the venue was packed in like sardines but the concert was fantastic
Unless you're a douchebag, you will spend half the gig waiting for a single drink. But that's what you need to expect from O2 venues, atleast they are consistent.
Nice venue and good acoustics, easy to get to. No cell service though.
Everything is well organised and I had an amazing time
Good venue....can do with better aircon inside.gets very hot.
Was a very good venue to watch my favourite singer Jimmy Barnes
Would love a tour poster if you any left.
Great professional venue. Saw Stray From The Path. Amazing show. Security did an excellent job taking care of the crowdsurfers.
Excellent venue, a nice intimate venue. But does get a little on the hot side when packed out!
Staff were professional and venue was well managed but only too keen to chase everyone out the moment the show ended, leaving little opportunity to meet any of the performers who were clearly making themselves available for autographs and photos.
It s a fairly small venue, but boy the sound is incredible. We were here last night seeing monuments, heart of a coward and I built the sky and I m surprised I don t have a broken neck. Insane
Nice little room, however, there are two rooms, one downstairs and one upstairs. The indications are average ... We realized after 30 minutes of tail that we were not in the good girl waiting
Nice venue, good sound, the only down side is after a few beers it was a nightmare getting from the bar to the toilet as it's by the side if stage.
Will be going back soon
spacious place, seems great for a party. too bad I had to wait in line for an hour before getting in
Nice venue. Decent location. Good sound. The friendliest door staff I've ever encountered and great bar service.
It is a good live music venue, Wishbone Ash 50th anniversary tour. Great gig great atmosphere
Saw stray from the path here on the 6th of December was a great venue
Great venue not to big and can get a pint easily, friendly staff and a ten minute walk from main station.
staff were so friendly and helpful , breath of fresh air from other venues angry security staff . thanks for a great night ! :) awesome venue and sound .
Excellent venue, but over enthusiastic door staff who divested everyone of everything resembling refreshment, even water
Went to a 90s night here wasn't too packed, door staff were lovely. They have a cloakroom and you can wear trainers
This is more like a nightclub than a concert hall tbh. Went in February to see A.C.E and wish I had a better view
Very small very hot. Standing only which spoiled the entertainment
Good venue and nice evening spoilt by over zealous security. Wife and friend standing in T-Rextasy event for over 2.5 hours, denied open and uncrowded exit to the car park despite being a public right of way - forced to walk much longer way around via shops. May have helped the guys ego but ruined the experience for them.
I was a bit disappointed in the venue watching Lordi but it is a smaller venue, bars either side of the dance floor. When it got a bit rowdy it wasn't too hard to find a space away from the moshing. Stage could be a bit bigger. I had no trouble with the staff. Bring ear plugs as you are close to the speakers wherever you stand. Sticky floors. No difficulty accessing facilities before, during and after the acts
A small and intimate venue for a concert. Much better to be able to see the whites of the eyes of the band's playing. Rather than being so far away from the stage you have to watch them on screen. Tonight Alive are an Australian modern rock band. I have seen them twice this year and O2 Illsington was by far the best place to see them. Loved it.
Went to watch The Protomen. It was a wonderful gig, the venue could benefit from screnes or a big screen on the back to allow for more people to see the performance as there were a lot tall people present so it was difficult to see past them.
Brilliant venue for live concerts. Staff very friendly and helpful . We was on the mezzanine floor.
Seen some great bands play here. I like this venue. Great sound, bars on both sides with quick service.
Nice venue, toilets are not great, very dirty but that s more the crowds fault than the venue, nice staff too
Nice little venue with that intimate vibe, especially as we don't particularly like stadiums. The bar isn't too far from the stage and kind of has a nice pub feel to it, although, not a great choice in beers and which unfortunately, tasted like p**s, hense my 4 and not 5 star rating. We really did enjoy ourselves here and will come here again.
Great venue, easy to get to from Angel tube station. Typical Academy prices - plus London prices - for drinks. Cannot fault the sound in the venue though and top notch atmosphere.
If Satan himself designed a gig venue, he wouldn't be able to surpass the horror that is the O2 Academy Islington. Soul-less, long queues, less than optimum sound... I could go on, but I won't. Fin.
Aside from making us queue out in the rain, I really like this venue and it's in a really nice area too
They haven t played Britney yet and it s 2am it s disgraceful
I take it back. 2.31 and she dropped
The place is quite small and the music was not the best, the crowd was nuts but there was quite good entertainment. Entry is cheap, worth going if you're not expecting much and just want to hang out with friends
Bloody awful, far too many people squashed in there, so left early and won't return. Never been that packed before!
this place was great and loud but great heard lots of music/wonder full music irate this place five stars
Club De Fromage is soooo fun! Great night, thank you!
A magnificent concert venue (for small concerts). You will particularly love the grungy / garage feeling overall. It allows for intimate concerts, holding only a few people. Acoustics are very cool.
You can go out to smoke as they stamp your wrist at the door, but there is no official smoking area, so you are just out in the shopping mall, basically.
One of London's music venues still in operation and one of my favourites. It is a lovely medium sized venue with good sound operating over two live music rooms with dedicated bars.
Smaller size than I was expecting for a music venue, but very much enjoyed the empty upstairs area where there was lots of room for a dance!
