went to ER at 1:45 am in serious pain my knee gave in, when i got out the cab could not walk security guard saw me rush out side with a wheel chair, i felt so very well taken care of. Did not spend more than 3 hours in the ER. Got taken care very very well. Came all the way from the Bronx.
I would strongly advise avoiding this place and especially Siddhartha Nadkarni, Daniel Friedman and Orrin Devinsky. The care provided was so poor and did not conform with lawful or appropriate standards of care. This had devastating implications for my health.
The improper care also led to two opened investigations for SIddhartha Nadkarni for serious violations of State and Federal law by the NY State Health Department Office of Professional Medical Conduct (OPMC). There were additional fraud investigations opened for Siddhartha Nadkarni, Daniel Friedman, and Orrin Devinsky by United Healthcare, who pulled back monies from all three for fraudulent billing, and an additional opened State investigation by the Insurance Commissioner of NY. That investigation was referred after review by two fraud investigators in the AG's office.

Amazing team of endocrine surgeons! Successfully performed a complex surgery without damaging any nerves or surrounding structures. Nurses are compassionate and attentive to your needs. They also call you after your surgery for several days to check up on you, and answer any questions you have!!! I have never felt so cared for -- thank you NYU!
