Highly recommend Godshall Staffing!! Though it was difficult to find a job at first eventually I did and it was a good fit and slightly challenged me which is what you want in a job. I worked with Catherine who was always there to answer any questions I had no matter how insignificant I thought they might have been.

I wrote the below review a month ago. Someone at Godshall called and started looking for new opportunities for me. Thank you for the quick response.

I interviewed with Gidshall in July. A week after my interview I emailed Catherine , just checking in to see if she had any opportunities for me.
I have over 20 years customer service experience.
To date I have never heard back from anyone at Godshall.

Was very excited to get involved with them, I applied for a job posting, got a call the next day and went in a day later. The woman I spoke with was very excited about my resume, thought I would be perfect for the job. Promised to call me the next day. I waited till the next week, called a left a message, no return call. Called again a week later, no return call. I would recommend if you want a job or want to hire someone look elsewhere!

I came in for an interview in November 2018. I repeatedly applied for jobs that were posted online and even called to inquire. No one ever called me about a job placement for ANY of the jobs I applied for. The only time I received a call was from one of the staff asking would I like to work the concession stand at a hockey game....and I have a Juris Master's in Law.

Update: They didn t discuss my gap in employment as an issue until this situation took place. So the communication is slack here. I wasn t asked about volunteering opportunities or continuing education. They just assumed I wasn t marketable for them. I would not suggest working with them.

Not impressed. I interviewed about two months ago(at least a month), and I didn t get a single call about a job. Until today. I was asked about a job over the weekend checking coats. Which was insulting because I had requested to do office work, particularly in the healthcare field because that s what my experience is in. It also didn t match my salary requirements either.

So, it seems they were just trying to fill an undesirable position with anyone who was willing to accept it.

I wasn t impressed with the interview either to be honest. Because I haven t worked in a while, so they expressed concerns about if I could jump back into my previous role. Which I could. And she didn t seem too sold on that, but I didn t say anything because I was hoping I was wrong. But after no calls and a coat checking weekend job, I have my answer.

Godshall is wonderful. I have been working with them off and on for 20 years. They have placed me at two permanent jobs and one temporary job. I love them and use them whenever I am searching for a position.

I cannot say enough about this company! John Riddle made my entire process of finding the perfect job for me such a breeze! I moved from Ohio and moving states away is no easy task--especially when it comes to job hunting in a city where you have zero connections. John knew what I was looking for, and was so responsive and informative through the entire process! I will always remember my experience with Godshall because of him and his efforts to find a job that was right for me during a stressful move! I moved to SC last year and did not really expect anything from an employment agency. It was a pleasant surprise to meet the staff at Godshall because they listened. Ginny Beach was able to connect me with a prospective employer within a couple of days, and after that job came to an end, her colleague, Amanda Serra was able to refer me elsewhere. My experience was positive and my impression is that they really want to help.

I ve dealt with Godshall on two occasions and the experience was good! Katherine Ericson was a great help both times, she offers opportunities that fits what your looking for. If I ever need to look for another opportunity in the further I will definitely go back to Godshall.

I worked with Godshall Staffing for over a year to find a new job after being employed with another company for over 18 years. They were very helpful (and patient) with me until the right opportunity came along, as I was quite selective! This was actually my second experience with placement through Godshall, (the first job they found for me was back in 1988 shortly after my daughter was born). Thanks to Cathy Boggs, Sara Thompson and the others who helped seek roles for me and especially to Cathy for encouraging me to step out and take the interview that resulted in my new administrative position!

The ladies that welcome you are so polite and respectful. It's very difficult to find a professional position and very difficult when your recruiter doesn't make the time to communicate with you. You have to be memorable to have the opportunity for finding a job.

I went to Godshall right after I graduated from college. Cathy Boggs was my recruiter and could not have been more helpful and encouraging during such a stressful process. She eventually landed me the perfect job and I've been there ever since!

Not happy with this temp service. When I first talked to them and asked if they had any medical positions in Spartanburg they said they had some. I never herd anything from them. I sent them and email to let them I was having trouble applying for a position, they said they weren't hiring medical people. Seriously, not much help here.

Cathy at Godshall is awesome. She found a position for me that fit what I wanted & I am so thankful to her. This is an awesome recruiting agency to help you find a job you want & love.

I have 20 yrs experience in my field, and I only reached out to them because I thought they would be open to the fact that I would take a job, even if it was not at my level. I sent the recruiter several job posings that I would definitely be qualified (maybe overly qualified) for, then heard nothing? Followed up every week, only to hear no news. The truth is, they will hold on to your resume, rather than share it with a company, if they think they can make more $$$ off you later when they have a better job opportunity that makes them more $. Sad, but true. I'm just trying to get back to Greenville to be with my 16 yr. old daughter after losing a very good job. Can't count on anyone these days. Everyone is focused on the almighty $$$.

I was reluctant to use a staffing service at first. I AM SO HAPPY that I did. Catherine from Godshall met with me and began the interview process. Within 24 hours I had an interview with a reputable law firm in my city and had the job within a week. Thank you Godshall for finding the perfect fit for me!!

My husband got a couple leads from Godshall and the agency let it all flop! Not an organization I would reccomend AT ALL! I placed my resume with them early 2019 and have NO communication! Is this a clown and circus ring?

As an HR/Staffing professional I was thoroughly impressed with Godshall. I had interviewed with numerous staffing companies in the area prior to my interview with Godshall and they didn't even begin to compare! From the first phone call, to the reception, to the interview and job placement they were extremely professional, pleasant, and interested in what I wanted to do. They placed me immediately and it was spot on! I highly recommend them if you are a professional looking for a job or if you are a company looking for that right professional.

Not a company I would recommend as if you haven't worked in a bit they discourage you from pursuing your career field. The person also stated that my resume was not that good, which I find strange as I have had offers out of state that say my resume is impressive. This is the first time I was made to feel horrible. Most agencies like this will encourage you so not someone I would recommend. This doesn't sound like someone you want to work with.

I have spoken to multiple people here, no help, left me to hang dry then they lied to me on their business model practices and was telling me that I have the wrong perspective of them not wanting to help me, they kept asking me how much I wanna make, yet they had no jobs to offer me, this company is a joke, and is very shifty and lying about what they have and don t have as far as jobs. I have dealt with plenty of temp agencies and this one is no different nor better, waste of time.

Godshall made my last work experience so great. They not only helped me to find a job that would be perfect for my skills and abilities, but they provided a ton of support and help throughout the duration of the job. The staff is incredibly helpful, responsive, and patient. They are a great liaison between employer and employee!

I am ashamed that I ever applied there. #1. I applied there first when I was 23, at that time I had little education and my skills were not as great as my skills today. I took those test on the old computers from the 80's, that they still have today. I probably didn't do well, I assume because I never got a call from them after I spent all that time. #2. Through out the years I applied many more times and was told they would keep me on file. #3. I recently applied with an excellent resume including education updates and my new information since I got married. I was called immediately and told they had something for me and I seemed like I would be a good fit. After a few minutes of talking with me the lady realized that I had applied before said "Oh never mind, this was a mistake and told me she would keep me on the list". They were unprofessional and it definitely hurt my feelings. #4. They did not retest me, so I assume they still think I have the same skill set as I had nearly 10 years ago. I will not apply with that company again.

This place is only for the client NOT the candidate! I tried to reach out to my recruiter time and again that I was not happy with the employer she placed me with. She did not make me aware that if I ended my employment there would be nothing for me to go to. Catherine Culler is NOT the recruiter to use! She was unreachable and only called me after she realized I quit. Take it from me be your own recruiter! I had three job offers on my own in six days offering a hirer wage. This place is ONLY for the clients they work for and their bonus! They are EXTREMELY misleading and on top of that con artists. Let's be clear, companies hire Godshall to recruit employees. Meaning, Godshall works for them NOT you essentially...be smart if you decide to use this place.

I love Godshall! I ve used them on and off as needed, and have always found the staff to be professional, courteous, and helpful.

They told me they have jobs for me and after meeting with someone and I gave them all my personal information, they never called me.
It was like they just need to get a certain amount of people through the door and grab their unfo. For whatever reason. Do Not Go There.

Really professional staff agency, Sara Thompson was a great agent she find me a job in less than a week for bilingual customer service, after been unemployed for almost a month and going to different staff agencies where they were not as helpful as Sara and Godshall were with me, I will be referring any of my friends to come and apply there.

Godshall has more than lived up to their great reputation and I found them exceedingly professional and supportive during my job search. They were very responsive to my inquiries, really wanted to get to know me through the interview process and I now have the job of my dreams and the best co-workers! Highly recommend them for your job search or for your candidate search!

Very disappointing. I came in and spoke with a recruiter almost three weeks ago and was told I was extremely qualified and that my salary expectations were reasonable. I took the Excel assessment test the same day I was interviewed as was asked of me and it's been three weeks now without a call. I emailed my recruiter a couple of days ago asking if it was possible to provide me with an update of the status of my resume, and I've gotten no response. I only wanted an internship/job (relevant to my degree of course) for the summer so that I could get some experience for an online masters degree program I'd like to apply for next year. I understand that they can't place everybody, but I've already wasted an entire month waiting for a call.

Fortunately, the staff was very nice and professional, and it is probably a better idea to use this agency if you already have a degree, are interested in a long term employment opportunity, and aren't in school anymore. You probably have a better chance of getting a job that way.

Update: Godshall reached out VERY quickly to me to address my review and concerns. After my phone call with them I checked my email several times (spam and junk mail folders as well) and I still can't find Courtney's response to my email. Regardless, I am bumping my review up to 5 stars because of the speedy response.

I read so many negative reviews that it should have steered me clear of this place. I went anyway because I need a job. Their office is completely inefficient and antiquated, right down to the 8 bit graphics on thirty year old computer terminals. I was seen by a random recruiter one hour after my scheduled appointment because they forgot I was in the lobby. I felt like I was at the doctor's office. They said it was my responsibility to check their job listings and call every week to check in because they are so busy. I wonder what it is they do all day that they don't have the time to follow up because they have no decent jobs listed. Surprisingly, they set up one interview with a hiring manager who seemed to be making up the job description as they went along, because it was nothing like what I was told the job would be. It was a waste of time to drive over 25 miles each way to get to Godshall for nothing. Very unimpressive, you'd be better off conducting your own job search.

Godshall has been very helpful with placing me with the right position, they are kind and I would send all my friends to them! Thanks Godshall for your help!

Courtney was fantastic and helped to get me employed fast. I m now in my first degree related job and I m fairly happy! She really seemed to want to see me successful and I m thankful for her.

Since 1974 I have had 5 jobs that were not family business related. I have gotten 4 of those 5 jobs through Godshall including the one I am about to start! I have done direct hire and temp to perm. I know how hard it is to get a job and my most recent search has been filled with a lot of heartache and rejections, some places they sent my resume would not even interview me! But they never gave up, they even made calls to see if there were any jobs out there we did not know about and eventually the right job came along and I was in their data base and I got the job!

These people are professional, experienced and they care! I hope I never need their service again, but if I ever do I will go back AGAIN!

If i could give 100 stars I would without hesitation!!!! I'm a HR professional so I know employer/employee relations well. After I lost my job (at no fault of my own) I reached out to CATHY BOGGS. Not only was she able to place me in a DIRECT hire position in the profession I love but she walked me through the entire process like clock work. She is a true professional, compassionate, dedicated and caring not only towards the job seeker but also for the companies she recruits for. TOP NOTCH...

Chad Hardin was incredible to work with. Not because I landed a job, but Godshall takes care of their candidates like I have never seen. The job search process is stressful enough without having to deal with staffing companies that don't care, will not call back or return emails. (Hello Robert Half and Ranstad). Godshall looks out for you and finds the correct opportunity that fits your goals and the goals of the company they represent, has to be a good match or its a waste of everyone's time. The continuous follow up, before and after, I received from Chad Hardin was top notch. Not that I wish to ever be in the job search position again, but Godshall would be my first call.
I have 20+ years management experience, only the second time in my life I have had to look for a job, and to be ignored by staffing companies where your experience matches 95% of what they are looking for, is wrong. There is something seriously wrong with larger staffing companies, they have lost the personal touch that you will get with Godshall.

I interviewed for a specific job and spoke with two recruiters regarding this position. I made a follow up call the next day and heard nothing in return. I understand that I may not have been completely qualified, but a representative should have contacted me in some way. Instead there was no return call, e-mail, or text by either recruiter, a receptionist, auto reply, janitor, etc. Not one reply. Who does that these days? Godshall, that's who.

Terrible experience. The recruiter was a lady who helped me in the Greenville SC office. She looked liked she hated her job and barely asked me anything about myself. Basically put down my resume and said she would clean It up. And I never heard from her again!!!!! Not even once. I do not recommend this place. Rude and unprofessional and I would never allow them to find me a job now!!!

I have never been more impressed with a recruiting experience. A transplant to Greenville, I had been having an extremely difficult time finding a job. From the moment I reached out for help, they were more than accommodating with what they could offer and that was before I even stepped in the door! Within a week I had an in person meeting with THE BEST recruiter (Katherine) that single handedly made me more hopeful for the future than I had been in months. Godshall turned my attitude completely around and was able to not only find me a job within a month but the PERFECT job that I had been waiting for. I honestly could not have done it without them.

They rang me for an "accounting" position and wanted me to interview with them at 8am. The woman I spoke with had no idea that I don't even live near their office and that it would be a 4 hour drive to get there. Clearly they didn't read my resume at all. My resume says clearly "medical admin" not "accountancy",

It's not worth the gas to go for an interview like that.

To start with, when they rang, they left no message. It was only when I rang back that I found out who had called me.

Then they located me and told me that I had an interview and could I be there in the morning. I told them I could not because I live 4 hours away. Then they gave a more reasonable time.

I had to ask them which position I was interviewing for. That wasn't very forthcoming.

Finally, I asked them where to come and the answer was "to our office". Well, where's that? All I had was a phone number. Their answer was not an address but "look at our website" and the woman gabbled a web address so fast I couldn't catch it.

Thank God I was by my computer and could run the phone number through Google. Now, having had this experience and having read what others have written, I won't be bothering with them. I will be saving my $40 of gas.

I was so nervous when I went in for my official interview, but after meeting with Cathy and speaking with her I was at ease. Cathy was awesome she worked hard in getting me the interview with my current position and helped me with my interview process and I was offered the position. I am extremely grateful for the dedication Cathy put towards my file.

Everyone is nice there, building is nice. Though I have went there once and didn't get anything for a job. I called multiple times as well, just checking in, and yet no job even provided. I still have yet to fine a job, and currently flat broke at this point, due to wasting a lot of time with them. They tell me not to apply to any other jobs on their site, and I even see jobs on there that I can easily do, but for some reason, I don't think there an actual effort to even provide someone like me any type of work. I want to like this place, but due my life being in shambles right now and having high hopes for them possibly providing something, I just can't really see the point going with them.

I am new to Greenville area, I signed on with Godshall to work as an RN and could not have had a better experience. They treat you with respect and were quick to get me an assignment. Pay was great as well. Would Highly recommend anyone going to work for this staffing service!

I applied to Godshall back in September of 2015. I was invited in, treated professionally throughout the process. I had a great experience meeting with Rebecca and even had an opportunity to meet some other team members. I've worked with other recruiting firms and this was, by far, the best experience!

THE WORST TEMP AGENCY EVER HANDS DOWN. GODSHALL?? AND HE WILL ONLY IF YOU TRUST IN HIM NOT THIS AGENCY. WHO GAVE HER A FRONT DESK JOB DEALING WITH THE PUBLIC?THEY ALL LACK COMPASSION/EMPATHY, PROFESSIONALISM AND KNOWLEDGE OF NOT ONLY WHAT THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO DO BUT WHAT THE JOBS THEY ARE LOOKING TO FILL WILL BE DOING I WAS TOLD "I WILL BE IN TOUCH WITH VERY SOON BECAUSE YOU DEFINITLY HAVE SKILLS FOR A NUMBER OF OUT CLIENTS" ITS BEEN ALMOST TWO YEARS IM STILL WAITING ON THAT CALL LOL I THANK GOD ABOUT A WEEK AFTER APPLYING WITH THEM A POSITION OPENED UP WITH MY PRESENT EMPLOYER WHERE I HAVE BEEN EMPLOYED NOW FOR EIGHT YEARS AND I REALLY HATED TO LEAVE BUT GOD WAS AND STILL IS LOOKING OUT FOR ME SO I DIDNT HAVE TO. Godshall staffing was wonderful at first. Within a short week, I was placed into a new position where I'd be payed my requested salary. I felt like I received a decent job within a short time, and I was excited to get started. However, my assignment was very stressful and the company was disorganized and unprofessional. I stayed with them, and worked hard for 9 months on what was originally described as a 6 month project. After talking to a recruiter about leaving my contract, as the position wasn't right for me, I was told to quit my job so that I could be placed in a new position. The recruiter went on to explain that placing me in a new position while working for another one of their clients would be a "conflict of interest".
Under the premise of getting a new job, I put in my notice. I was relieved to have my needs met, and grateful that the recruiter was so quick to help me. I put in my notice and I slept great that night, the best sleep I'd had in months. I woke up in a frenzy the next morning around 12:00PM, and everything had turned around.
The company I was assigned to had called Godshall and told them that I was late, and they didn't want me to come back. Godshall then told me that they would now have trouble getting me the new position, because they were "counting on the reference" from the original company. My recruiter then followed up with several strange requests; asking me to outline the issues I ran into with the company, explain what I'd like in a new job, and finally to visit the contracted company to discuss the work-issues with the management team. I fulfilled the first two requests, but the third seemed outrageous - who would really do such a thing? I suggested meeting with the recruiter at Godshall to discuss the issues in person, and was brushed off with a simple email claiming they would "help me find another position" - and I've heard nothing since. I can understand that, for a recruiter, the "clients" are the companies that they're sending employees to. And the employees are the "product".
In any case, I just put this out as a warning to anyone (currently or considering) contracting under Godshall: If you want a new position, don't give notice at your current position until you have the contract for the new position signed. Godshall is not obligated to get you a new assignment, nor will they make it a priority - even if they're the ones who told you to quit your current job.

Not a good company to deal with at all. Not informative. Constantly having to call them to find anything out. As a recruiter they are supposed to find you a job and work with and for YOU. This is not the case with Godshall. I would not recommend this company.

What a great place to work! I love meeting and helping new people everyday. We have a great team atmosphere here and really pull together to find great opportunities for as many people as possible. My only wish is that we could help everyone. All the team has great insight on the recruiting world. I hope you all give us a try soon :)

I went in with certain expectations and criteria for my next job and they met that and then some. They were courteous and very professional. I highly recommend Godshall for your employment needs.

I had a wonderful experience working with the staff at Godshall Staffing. They worked hard to set up meetings and interviews in a timely manner and followed up with me prior to my first day at the new job, as well as after I had been employed for a few weeks. Godshall staffing was very beneficial for me. I was with my assignment for 6months and I got decent pay. I became permanent in my position, by choice but honestly I wanted to just stay with Godshall incase things didn't work out. Godshall helped me get my foot into the door with the company that I had been wanting to work with. My recruiter at Godshall was amazing and anytime I had a problem it was resolved immediately. I enjoyed my time with them and I would work for them AGAIN!!

He took the time to actual read my resume and listen to me during the interview.
I was nervous about returning to the work and having to explain my gap in job history. I was worried that I would have to explain how I got sick and that would end up being what my interview was about and not how I qualify. He reassured me that I didn't need to worry about that and that he had just the place in mind.
My new job is perfect fit. I was brought on as if I was already an employee. And hired on just as soon as the contract was completed.
The whole process was calm, easy, and enjoyable.
When everything started to shut down for quarantine, Godshall reached out to make sure everything was ok with me and then they asked about work.

I really appreciate who I work for now. I would have never thought to apply with this company and I would have really missed out.

I do not recommend this agency as I have still not heard from them since my initial "interview" (which lasted 5 minutes, & the interviewer barely even looked at me, back in January of 2018). Luckily, I found an amazing career opportunity by using Robert Half.

They are very nice and personable people, all of them. They are well established and communicative, and I appreciate all they have done to help find the fit I couldn t say enough good things about Godshall!

I returned to Greenville after being away several years. Went into the office on Wednesday, had to two interviews by Friday! Both the positons were great fits....which tell me Godshall listened to me!

They have many job opportunities and with great pay. I went to a interview this afternoon for a rma position which is not what I was looking for plus I was a little nervous, well really nervous. So I'm not sure I'll be working for them but I will send recommendations to friends and family.

On July 7th, I received an email from Sara about a position.
After reviewing the job listing, I emailed Sara to let her know that I was interested.
Well, it's been 2 emails and a voicemail but still no reply as of today, July 14th.
I'm praying that she has not been affected by the virus in some way.
But some form of response would be nice.

If you re looking for a job this may not be the place to go. I went to them in August. I thought they would ve helped me as my coworker got a job through them previously. I haven t been so lucky. No update, no calls/emails, nothing.

Save yourself some time and don't bother coming here. Highly unorganized with a professional looking office space until you get to the MS-DOS system. They wanted to keep me on file, but I had only heard from them one time. Tried calling their offices, but the one handling my information just never called back.

This is a HORRIBLE place!! I went to them three years ago looking for work and they said they would help me find work. I applied to every job on their website and not once did I get a call. I kept emailing them but I was ignored. I have a degree in CNS and many CompTia certs. I kept calling and emailing them and I was ignored. I'm a combat veteran and this is how they treat veterans.

I met with one of their search consultants almost 4 months ago and have gotten zero responses from them. I have reached via email multiple times and received no replies. I certainly didn't expect them to find me a job right away, but having some level of communication/feedback would have been nice.
UPDATE: They did reach out to apologize for my experience, so I bumped them up a star.

I do not recommend Godshall at all Catherine Culler is among the most laziest lying agent I have ever had. I had a job I was at 2 years the position was eliminated. I turned to them they said they had jobs lined up and they did not get me so much as one interview very disappointing as of 3 years ago I had a good experience with them but not now.
