Metro stop useful to see the famous Bull charging Augusto da Modica and, for a little while, the fearless Girl.

Love to see some green and a place to relax in a city of concrete, and buildings.

It'd be a whole lot better if the NYPD would step up their effing game and get rid of those mother fin statue of liberty ticket hawkers.

The Bull and the Girl are as powerful in person as you would expect. Usually a crowd getting pictures even on rainy days. Nice area to walk around and visit.

The environment is brisk and cold, just like a typical winter day in Lower NYC

Nice bit of green in a city and 2 steps away from the charging bull. Not perticulary interesting but a good place to get away from the city.

Great place to visit. Not to far from the Statue of Liberty, Battery Park, Staten Island Ferry, and Wall Street.

Nice and pretty. You can enjoy your lunch here. Or just walk around.

The park was ordained as the sanctuary of the Financial District!!!!

Hot summer day, best breeze passes here. So I would say is a great place to sit down and cool if and see the busy city move. Also for some reason there is always seats available, as if people don't know you can take a seat inside the park. Also it's nice to see the crowds from far near the bull statute. A nice seat surrounded by buildings.

We only stopped to see the charging bull and get pictures there.

Quaint and only a few steps away from Wall Street's famous charging bull, this little teardrop shaped park offers quiet refuge from the tourist trap that ensnares dozens at any given moment. The real centerpiece of the Bowling Green is a lovely fountain. This is a highly energetic place. It is the oldest public park in NYC and is really a nice oasis. Plus theres the bull.

Good location

The park is small and unremarkable at first glance and unsuspecting visitors may not be aware of its historic significance until they read about it, particularly its designation as the oldest park in the city and how it became a symbol of US independence from Britain after the existing statue of the British monarch was toppled. Hard to believe, too, that this was once the tip of Manhattan before the area was expanded through landfilling. It is worth a visit if only for these remarkable facts.
