Perfect place to watch Champions league and Ukraine national team matches

The Olympic National Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Kiev, Ukraine. Currently, the home of the Ukrainian team, Kiev Dynamo, will hold the UEFA Champions League final in the 2017-18 season.

Big stadium and surprisingly the sound seems to amplify like more modern venues. You will walk, a lot. Stairs are steap in the stadium and the ramps outside are deceptively long because entry is controlled to the main entrance. Be careful the stadium platform can be closed, so you're huffing it from the stations on either side. You can find yourself walking in with wrong team if you don't adjust your walk to accommodate your team choices. No problems to many police, but it's not ideal.

Stadium Tour.
Been on a tour of the stadium. The tours go everyday (except game day), first one starting at 13:00. Costs 100UAH for a one hour tour. Starts at the Main Reception, so you just have to show up there, no pre-booking or such thing. Main reception is situated at the right side of the big hotel which is in front of the Stadium. Could be a bit difficult finding it, as is very hidden at the very bottom of the stadium.
The tour consits of a tiny museum visit, lockers, outside pitch and the conference room. The museum has a bit of memorabila from all the events held on the stadium, lockers are a bit dull, nothing like San Siro lockers or anythig special. Overall it s a typical European modernized stadium which in my opinion makes the tour skippable and is not a must seen. Very few heritage left that might intrigue a football fan. However the things might be different if you experience a game rather than a tour.

one drawback, this is the unfinished Sheraton hotel. it is empty and ghostly like Chernobyl.

Have been there at Imagine Dragons concert in August. The event was organized well. Didn't notice huge crowds (except for women WC), everyone seemed to get to the venue without problem. Staff is aware and helpful. The arena is awesome, it was a pleasure and privilege to be there.

Just a wonderful and fun place!) Was glad to visit Dynamo here. And the only downside is the price of food and drink.

You need to pay 100 hryvnia to visit the stadium, it is closed to tourists because it is Saturday, Sunday and Monday are possible match days. The hours you can visit are 14:30, 15:00 and 17:00 hours, tourist information helps in this issue.
