Novotel Hotel Accra Review

Comfortable business accommodation. Great buffet. Compimentary mini bar in the room.

The old no vote hotel now known as Accra City is exquisite up market well secured hotel

Only snag is it is situated in the middle of the city and accessing it through congested traffic can become telling with the equity rial weather

Very good hotel with a nice pool and a gym. The staff can not do enough and the buffets for breakfast and dinner are excellent.

I thought it had a great ambience, you can tell its a hotel thats been around for a while but has still managed to maintain its elegance. The restaurant was great. It was a more lavish breakfast offering that i haven't yet experienced in an African hotel.

The only drawback was service was slow, had no urgency. While staff were courteous, requests to housekeeping, room service, at the restaurant always took forever.

Asides this, all else was good.

Novotel was splendid but Accra City Hotel is absolutely splendid

The concierge dock is always very pleasant. The staff are very helpful and bookings are so easy to make. Periodic discounts are available as well over festive seasons. It's in the centre of town and close to a major market. Interesting sites to visit if you're willing to ride a bit around town.

Their prices on Google maps is too low compared to the actual price. The lowest room there is 800 but on maps it says 499. But I do love the place

Fantastic hospitality though I visited at such a busy time with lots of passengers from aircraft's that were diverted. They did well.
The swimming pool is under renovation. I didn't have time to use the gym

Adhered to the covid 19 protocols. And as always, I enjoyed their breakfast buffet. I ll definitely do this again.

Hotel located in the heart of Accra with all the basic amenities to make your business/holiday stay comfortable

Some of the great things i liked about the hotel are a great variety in the breakfast, free airport transfer, reasonably fast internet

Great hotel, nice breakfast, but with the building works going on (the construction site just by the pool), and the noise throughout the day etc. (even on Saturday) it is difficult to relax fully by the hotel swimming pool.:-(

It's ok, humidity was at 80% and the air con struggled to cope - everything felt damp and the carpets are some weird rubber material - was there for work so not sure of much else, would take my chances somewhere else though should the opportunity to return arise. They do provide a small mini bar (free) and the room is clean, food ok and staff friendly.

Not a bad experience. Expected more though looking at the much talk about AC these days

The reception is very good with Barry friendly employees to answer questions and help you know your way round the premises.

It's a wonderful place. Well reconstructed and renovated to be more of a 5star hotel. It is formally called Novotel and is next to Movenpick. The security is also very tight which is good. It is common to find a lot of white foreigners around.

Great ambiance. Cool conference rooms and delicious food.
Had an awesome range of food for lunch.

Loved their fish. Can't speak much for other amenities because I didn't stay long enough to use most. Internet was not too good either. But the environment is super cool especially at night with the lights on.

Beautiful and serene environment, amazing staff and secure parking lots. You will definitely enjoy your stay. Don't forget the kizomba Friday nights
