If you are travelling!! Wether on transit, or flying from any other city in Egypt and you need to spend a night or two in Cairo before or after your flight... This hotel should be definitely your choice...

Its clean, convenient, with a wonderful breakfast that goes from 5:00 am till 10:30 am. I stayed there two times, both were a bless as it was really needed

Room rate is very reasonable, but try to get one of the renovated rooms as they are incomparable to the old ones! Way better!!

Mrs. Nihal in reservations team is very helpful and understanding.

Linen is clean, bed is comfortable and cozy. Pool is clean as well.. and every 30 mins there is shuttle bus to airport! Which is a blessing as it saves you the stress you would go through if you have to go through Cairo's heavy traffic.

Enjoy...

I really wish I'd never need to use this airport again. But I will. The English speaking isn't very good. They gave me a domestic visa when I needed international. The security who could have easily approved me was off duty. Nearly missed my plane. And the food isn't that special either.

This is certainly better than spending the night on the street, but enjoy the rest is unlikely to succeed. A 4-star hotel doesn t pull absolutely, especially for such a price. Dirty everywhere, in rooms, corridors, common areas. Slow Internet connection. Smoke is everywhere, and you will be surrounded by an unpleasant smell everywhere. In the corridors there are a lot of children, they run and shout. The rooms have a second door, it is better to close it in the evening. Judging by the wrinkled bedding on it, someone already slept. There was not a single bottle of water in the room. The staff is breaking into the room in the morning. Neighboring Meridian is much better, but more expensive.

I was very unimpressed with the room because it was expensive yet not worth the cost. The water heater was not very effective so it was lukewarm especially at night. The room was old and we had to change rooms because of the smell until we got one that didn't smell like damp Anna's bad plumbing.
One thing I enjoyed was the buffet dinner, though that has to be paid for separately and the price seemed to vary with what time you get there. That seemed very dishonest to me but the food was good. There was also much variety. Breakfast didn't have an extra charge and started early which was helpful for those of us in transit.
In all, aside the dinner package, I'll say the place is definitely not worth the cost except you need a nice duvet to hide from the dreadful cold.

First of all the rooms are very very very dirty with lots of pubic hair in the beds, toilet and shower. Then the incompetent receptionist can not open the room for us. It is 1:30 that we are waiting to enter our room. We have just traveled 5 hours from Grand Hotel but very poor

I am very happy with my stay at Novotel Airport, because this is not my first time fans of your establishment, I was here in 2016, and I have a very good memory of my stay, and that three years more later I find the same family atmosphere that I had known and I'm more than happy. Thank you to all the staff at the hotel for the professionalism they show to make our stay unforgettable.

Pros:

Pros:
- Staff is friendly and helpful (most of them).
- Room is cleaned well equipped.
- Very good breakfast.

Cons:
- Internet speed is horrible. Totally useless except for online checkin.
- Noise coming from the club next to the hotel was extremely annoying. I could not sleep until they closed in the late evening.
- Although the room was well equipped, but some basic requirements like "DND" or "Please clean my room" signs were missing. No slippers were found.

We stayed in the Novotel at Cairo Airport due to a 24 hour delay in our flight with EgyptAir. When we checked in, one of the gentleman on the reception desk was very impolite and spoke rudely about us in Arabic to his colleague (I understood most of it as I have been travelling in Egypt for over 15 years). When my guest asked them to speak English please, he told her - you are in Egypt now, you must speak Arabic. When we were shown to our rooms, the carpets in the corridor were filthy. Stained and very dirty. The food in the buffet was very good and that made our stay a little more pleasant.
