As a former student who's gone on. I have to say I'm severely disappointed in the district's capacity for innovation. After attending Norwalk High School I went on to the University of Hawaii and then to Graduate school in the United Kingdom. 10 years after graduating a federal job I was applying for wanted my high school transcripts. Having never received any I went about attempting to get a copy. Finding no way to apply online I had to call and found out that I had to be there in person to receive them. This not really being feasible as I was living in Australia at the time the person on the phone informed me that I could write a letter of authorization for someone else to pick them up for me. Luckily one of my parents still lived in Norwalk and was able to get them this way after much trouble. Experience was easily a 1/10, although it's nice to know that I do not have an ally in my future success with Norwalk High School. It's 2017 get with the times...
Going through Norwalk high school was the lowest point of my life. But now I realize, God had a purpose. God wanted to show me hell... so when I got to heaven, I would finally appreciate it. For that, I would thank each and every person I met there. Without that knowledge, without that lesson, I couldn't possibly see a reason for this place.
