The hospital has given me the best experiences I've ever had at a Hospital. All of the people there treated me with full respect and were very polite. This is a 5 star hospital. Dr. Young and every single person on staff made me feel at home. Even though my day was longer than expected, I felt very comfortable and cared for the entire time. The nurses in recovery made sure to bring me snacks that worked with my dietary restrictions, and literally nothing hurt once, not even getting my IV set up. I would highly recommend the Northwest Specialty Hospital to anyone, especially someone looking for quality women s care.
I had shoulder replacement surgery at Northwest Specialty Hospital last week and it was unlike any hospital experience I have had before. The feel of the facilities was more like a hotel than a hospital. Everyone I came in contact with was friendly and helpful. The food is amazing. The procedure went flawlessly and recovery was swift. I was headed home with my new shoulder the next morning. I highly recommend Dr. Lee Stowell and Northwest Specialty Hospital to anyone who is looking to have a surgical procedure in North Idaho.
I can t tell you in words how great everyone was to me on Tuesday September 28th. From the time I checked in at 11 AM with Gabby at the front test until I left about 3:30 PM everyone there was amazing. I wish I could remember all their names. I did try to tell those I saw thanks for doing a great job. I was not there long, but you would have thought I d been there a long time and was finally getting to go home. There were hugs for everyone. I know these great people have done and will continue to do a wonderful job and be that kind and personable to everyone. I hope they are all appreciated and told how great they are During these difficult and crazy times these nurses, doctors, IV lady, anesthesia young man I had, will continue to do an outstanding job
EVERY single member of the staff from check-in to Surgery staff were friendly, smiling and full of positive vibes. I requested a prayer be said in pre op and my RN prayed a wonderful prayer. Post surgery care was also extremely professional while light hearted laughs during each phase of recovery. Best surgical care EVER!
Dr. Owsley and his entire staff are so welcoming and helpful!! I never once had a question go unanswered. After my experiences, I will definitely be using their services again in the future. The amount of knowledge him and his staff have really impressed me. Five stars all around!!

Totally enjoyable experience even though I was having shoulder repair surgery.
Procedure was well explained in advance and my nurses were all so kind, positive, extremely personable, and at times, funny to visit with.
