SHYSTERS!!! I will not give these criminals so much as 1 star! I cannot be vehement enough when I tell any and all NOT to do business with this horrible company. When I called to cancel our contract, customer service was rude and abusive. Avoid this company!!!

If i could leave a negative 5 star review I would. I have never dealt with a more felonious company in my life. The woman seemed very sincere and honest. I was prompted to sign a contract on a cellphone I could not read. I was told I could cancel anytime. To later find out I had been tricked into a 4 year contracts with a 1 thousand dollars a year early termination fee. I finally mad it to the end of the contract so now they want to tell me there is a 150.00 restocking fee to send the terminal back after I paid over 4 thousand dollars to fulfill the contract. I have never felt so mad in my life. I wish that something could be done so this company can never do this again. Don't ever use NORTHERN LEASING EQUIPMENT they are the worst kind of company to do business with thieves and liars all the way to the end!
The poorest quality of equipment I have ever seen, many time I had functions and the machines were down, or broken all together. They try to enforce the lease agreements but my lawyer has informed me that if they are not providing reliable equipment then the agreement is null and void. Most often when calling the service number for Canada it switches automatically to the US, and their machines are different. DO NOT sign up with this company, they will try to bully you into paying for their garbage!
This is the absolute worst company that has ever existed. It is all a HUGE SCAM to steal your money. They lie and cheat and get you to sign a ridiculously long contract that you CANNOT get out of. When your lease is FINALLY over, you have to pay a $150 'restocking' fee and if they don't receive their equipment back within 10 days of your lease ending, they charge you another month's lease! And they wont give you the address to send it back to so you will get charged no matter what! The customer service is rude and hangs up on you multiple times in attempt to keep you from canceling. Why hasn't this company been shut down yet?!? Disgusting!
This company is a joke, all the agents do is make you feel like you are nothing. You call with a simple question and they not only not give you the answer but make you feel stupid for even asking any question. My fault for signing a lease with a company that has nothing bus bade customer service. They have no compassion for you or your money. PLEASE stay away if you want to save your money.
We leased a Credit Card Terminal for Northern in 2009 the cost of which new is $400 They never received terminal after lease was up in 2014 and have been changing our account monthly since. We ended up paying $4680 for this terminal. Now they want us to pay $410 to end lease w/o returning equipment. Really ! That extra $4000 wasn't enough. BTW Payment Depot will give you a Credit Card Terminal....and have great customer service !
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY Absolutely the worst kind of company to deal with. We were not renewing our contract and sent back the leased equipment well within the time frame told us. They debited our account the following month for another lease payment past the contract expiration date. When I called to find out why they stated they had mailed a letter to inform me the pin pad returned was not the same model as the lease VX 820 vs VX 805. I mailed back the original equipment sent by Retriever Merchant Solutions. To date, April 17,2020 I have not received said letter. They said if I didn't return the VX 805 I would be charged $101 plus change. The supervisor contacted me and suggested I get in touch with merchant services to see if we had been to an 820 as an upgrade even though I knew that not to be the case. Merchant services said they'd send an 805 to help me out. I called the leasing company back only to find out that a decision had been made to "accept the wrong equipment as of that day's date so that they could keep the April lease payment debit but would give me the courtesy of not having to pay the remaining balance from the $101 plus charge for returning the wrong equipment. I tried over and over to speak with the supervisor. The last call I was told the supervisor had called again the day before and left another message - they did not. These folks are liars and scammers.
