Great pace of play, course is in rough shape on some greens and a couple of fairways

Nice space, gorgeous grounds. Food was ok, not the level I hoped for with such nice surroundings, but that's catering places for you.

Greens were good in the front nine but the greens in back nine was seemed uncut not pressed.

Beautiful grounds. Went to wedding here. Food good. Parking lot could be bigger. Staff nice.

I'm indifferent about this course. Greens were being aerated during the round, so maybe the difficult to predict putting conditions lead me to give only 3 stars. Some greens were waaaaay too fast, others not so much. Some bare spots in the rough and bunkers weren't raked in my early April 2019 round.

Beautiful landscape they are set up really well for special events and weddings.

My daughter was just married here , the staff is totally reliable and on the ball... We didn't want or need for anything, our needs were met with great hospitality.. This place is A #1....

We cannot say enough good things about Northampton. Our wedding was July 4th weekend and everything was beyond our expectations. Matt was so helpful in helping us plan and making sure that everything was followed through. Robin, our Matire d, was so accommodating and made our day extra special. I cannot say enough good things about Northampton. From start to finish, they do an amazing job. The grounds are beautiful, the food is phenomenal, the options are limitless, and the service is great! It is also an affordable option as compared with most other venues we priced out in the area, especially considering all the package includes. We got married on a Friday, which helped as well, but there are a variety of options for price per head you can look into regardless of your date.

My husband and I initially met with Matt, one of the catering managers, who wound up helping us through all aspects of our wedding. We think of Matt as a friend now definitely! He came out before leaving his office the night of the wedding to talk to my parents, husband, and I and to see we were happy with everything. There is differently a personal element and high degree of care put into a wedding thrown here. We also met with Alexis and Brigid as well, who were both fantastic! Alexis had the joy of helping label all my disorganized wedding crafts at my pre wedding appointment and was a real trooper. I could name several instances, but, the long and short of it is that this team goes above and beyond the call of duty, even at one point having a somewhat unnecessary meeting with us to distract my parents when my family threw them a surprise 30th anniv. Party.

There is a lot of flexibility with the options and decor, which I enjoyed in planning. You can definitely walk in and say you want a standard package and not add too much to it, or you can add lots of additional elements and they will make notes and incorporate them just as you both want on your wedding day- or a mix!. We planned the wedding from a couple hours out of town, so there were some things we just pointed at colors for and handed over to the catering team's best judgment (flower centerpieces and place settings, for example ) and there were others, like place cards and decor for the gift table where I wanted to use crafts and personal touches, which they put together with the other elements beautifully.

Northampton has a team of vendors they use for weddings and a list of recommended vendors for other services (such as DJ, hotels, etc). Their bakery and florists both did a great job with the cake and centerpieces, so I would say to definitely trust their recommendations. I also wound up using their florist for my bridesmaid and bridal bouquets (Domenic Grazianos) in Southampton.

The best thing about Northampton is definitely the people- the servers the day of our wedding were attentive, quick, and really nice. They make sure as the bride and groom you eat and have plated food at your table, even with a buffet (which we went with). Nicole was especially helpful the day of our wedding. Walt, our bartender, made an awesome signature drink and was very personable to all of our guests. The grounds are gorgeous for pictures, so I definitely recommend utilizing them some. I slightly regret our timeline getting crunched and not using them a bit more, so I would say to try and allot an hour or so if you want a great backdrop in that regard.

All in all, we highly recommend Northampton Valley CC. When I began wedding planning, we thought of eloping and then decided to see what was out there/possible and I am so glad we did because the whole team- wait staff, servers, bartenders, managers, you name it- really worked to make it one of the best days of our life. Somewhat short, and reasonably challenging golf course in good condition with driving range and banquet facilities. Food above average for functions.

From the moment we toured Northampton Valley Country Club I knew it was the venue for us. Matt was knowledgeable and excited while showing us around. The minute we booked I was comforted with the idea that he was there for whatever we needed. I had many questions and ideas to run by him through the planning process and Matt answered each one quickly and with ideas or suggestions of his own.

The day of our wedding was more then we could have ever dreamed of. The weather did not cooperate well and we had to change our vision of getting married on the patio to an indoor ceremony. You would have never known this wasn't the original plan. Everything came together smoothly and within min. the Crystal Ballroom was transformed to the most beautiful ceremony space.

Immediately following the ceremony, we were greeted by Nicole and Lee in the bridal suite with drinks and snacks. They were there for us all night long without having to ask for a single thing. We didn't have the opportunity to have cake during the reception but there were 2 pieces wrapped and waiting for us when we left at the end of the night.

To sum it all up, We heard amazing reviews from our guests about the food, staff, and atmosphere. If we had to do it all over again, NVCC would be our number one choice. Coming from a bride who is very detail oriented and that had a vision of what the perfect day would be..... NVCC perfectly captured it all. I was truly blown away.

Course is in decent condition, but be prepared for at least a 6 hr round. This course is horribly managed. They don't believe in rangers keeping pace of play up and the starter has no idea what he is doing so tee times are routinely 10-20 mins late. It's a shame this place can't get their act together because the course is pretty nice after all the work they put into it. Overall, don't spend the money unless you enjoy waiting for every shot...not just off the tee. With all the golf I have played I have never seen 4 groups on one tee box on a par 4. As long as they get your money when you check in they could careless how much you enjoy your round. With so many other great options I will not be going back.

Course is in good condition (April 17), greens are better than usual. Pace of play hasn't been great. Spring rates make it a good value.

So I want to start off by saying this review DOES NOT reflect the quality of this course. Course was in pretty great condition, couple of beat up spots on green but aside from this course was excellent, loved the layout too.

My issue came was when we got kicked off the course before it was dark because they were shutting down? Our tee time was at 420pm we were on hole 16 at 750 (group in front of us was slow) and they kicked everyone off the course to shut down. I've never even seen something like this happen.

Edit: I've played this course several times since the initial review. I've had a great experience everytime since then which is why I'm changing my review.

Usually in great shape, especially the greens. The tee boxes need some attention but the greens and design keep you coming back.

From our first meeting with NVCC we knew this is where we wanted to get married. The service, attention to detail, food, and overall atmosphere were outstanding! We have had so many compliments on our wedding and it hasn t even been a full 24 hours after. Our server Kevin and our Maitre d Dominique were absolutely fantastic and knew what we needed without us even asking. Brigid was amazing and took care of us from first meeting to our big night. You truly will not have a better experience anywhere else. I highly recommend NVCC and am so grateful for how wonderful they made our wedding.

My husband and I got married here Friday August 28th and we cannot say enough good things about this venue. Kate Conville was our consultant and she went above and beyond for us every step of the way. Our wedding was originally scheduled for May 1, but with COVID we had to postpone to August and she did everything to make sure we had the best day ever. The whole process was such a great experience and so refreshing. In such a hard time they did whatever they could to make it better for us. When it came time for our wedding on the 28th they were phenomenal. The NVCC staff truly did everything they could to allow us to have a great day. We can not recommend this venue enough. If you want a wonderful experience and a beautiful wedding, NVCC is where to book! Thank you Kate and NVCC staff for an AMAZING experience and an even better wedding day!

Our wedding at the Northampton Valley Country Club couldn't have been more PERFECT!! We were so impressed with how professional everyone was. The staff made sure everyone had what they needed and if they didn't they would get it for them right away. The food was amazing. The room and tables looked so nice. It definitely was my fairy tail, princess wedding. They all made it so special. Through the whole process I dealt with Alexis Sklar, she was my go to. She helped me every step of the way. She always got back to me right away and guided me through everything. There was never a moment I was confused or didn't know what was going on. She is awesome and so good at her job. I called and even filled out an on-line form several times and never received a return call about the possibility of having my wonderful Autistic son's one-in-a-lifetime Bar-mitzvah there. I even did a live chat with someone who also assured me that I would receive a return call. It never happened. The package looked fantastic and I was so excited. How horrible and unprofessional! I'm glad I found another venue where the people were kind, caring, attentive, and professional, where they actually wanted my business. I dont think I have ever written a negative review in my entire life, but this was so upsetting and I felt that I just needed to put it out there. This is very poor business!

My now husband and I got married here on June 8th, 2018. It was more than we could ever have imagined. Everyone loved the food and how smoothly everything went. Brigid is amazing and I'm so glad we got to work with her throughout everything. I highly recommend NVCC!! You will NOT regret it. The outside is a great place for wedding photos.

Excellent place for a wedding. The service was great and the food was out of this world. The only downside to this is parking, however if there isn't many playing golf you'll have no issues. Nevertheless this place was beautiful inside and everyone was so kind. You'll have an excellent time here if you plan anything.

Maintenance did as good as they could. After 1 inch or more of rain last night some of greens, fairways and tees little soggy. Tee box's little beat up as expected. Crabgrass prevalent in a few tees. Overall not a bad round but little bit expensive to ride 18. Need larger trash receptacles.

The golf course was in good condition however while golfing for over 4 hours in 90+ degree weather. We did not see the girl come around with drinks or food. On top of this we were not allowed to bring our our cooler on the golf course.

First time playing there. Greens are lightning fast with subtle breaks. Interesting layout with 4 long par 3s . Will play there again this year.

Absolutely beautiful place. The staff is personable, yet professional. Loved everything about being there for my wedding. They are truly a gem and a blessing to us for our special day. Matt K. JJ, Kevin, Bridgid and Brittany were phenomenal to work with. I would do it all over again if given the chance. My day was nothing short of spectacular. Lots of food, beautiful decoration, no hassle to set-up or tear-down. Just a wonderful experience that exceeded my expectations by far. For the price of service, trust me, they went above and beyond. I am well pleased and could not have wished for a single thing to have gone better. My guests are still raving about the beautiful place, cleanliness, quality of service, ample food and overall evening. Thank you so very much for a day I will never forget. Working at this venue was a very unpleasant experience for me. I've dealt with a lot of venues, countless staff. If any entertainment services out there, I thought I would give you a heads up. The people in charge were very difficult to deal with. And you don't find out what you need until too late.

Actually, I was the DJ for a wedding in October 2014. So my perspective is a little different than the bride, groom, family or guests. I am friends and I related to the groom and his family. I have been a DJ since 2003 and I also do sound and lighting for bands professionally.

For an event to go smoothly, communication is key. There needs to be communication with the DJ and everyone needs to be on the same page. Number one: the staff was not in contact with me the DJ ever. I tried to go to the location to check out everything before the wedding, so rather, I tried to reach out to them. Two, when I called the staff to arrange something, I was hung up on multiple times and treated rudely on the phone. Eventually, I gave up and just went to the place and did my site survey on my own, a few weeks before the wedding.

The day before the wedding, I called and asked the staff how early I could get there and set up. I was told 9, then 9:15am. Reasonable request, so the day of the wedding, I arrived at the venue at 10am, to accommodate the staff while allowing myself plenty enough time to setup. I ran wireless mics and speakers for the outside ceremony, and for the reception, I did the sound, uplighting, and gave the video guy a wireless feed for everything. The sky was threatening rain outside, so I set up the reception hall first.



Afterwards, we were tearing down our equipment, constantly, we were being asked when we were going to be out of there. To begin, the load in and setup took about 5+ hours. This was a very extensive setup primarily because of the lighting. This wasn't just 'two turntables and a microphone'. This was a very technical setup, and the teardown was near as comprehensive, and took 3 hours, including loading the trailer.



The property is beautiful. It was really nice location, late October.

Just had my daughters wedding there. They were aweaome. The staff, the food! All were amazing. Highly recommended. If it hadn't rained the outside is great for Pictures.

The golf course should be ashamed to charge 68 dollars the course was in horrible shape

Course is in rough shape, especially for June. Bunkers look like they haven t had new sand in a decade. Several tee boxes were basically unusable. The cart paths had major craters and ravines through them. They need a sand and asphalt guy stat. The greens were decent and the staff was excellent. Putting some money into the course would go a long way though.

Awesome Golf Course, pace of play is much better now under new ownership, tee times I believe have been changed from 8 minute up to 10 minute, rounds used to be very slow but we just played last week and pace-of-play was perfect and the course was in great shape!

A beautiful locale for a wedding! There was ample parking and I think there were two weddings that day. Everyone was so nice and the place was just stunning! Totally recommended!

After looking at several venues to hold our wedding ceremony & reception, we knew when we walked into Northampton that we found the perfect place. Brigid worked with us from day 1 on all the details of our wedding and she was very responsive to all of our questions. We were so happy with how everything turned out on our wedding day. We brought lots of decorations to have set up and Brigid knew exactly how we wanted everything to look and ended up being perfectly displayed. Before the ceremony began, Brigid and Lee checked on us in the bridal suite to make sure we were all comfortable. Even after our ceremony, the staff brought drinks and hor d'oeuvres for as long as we were in the bridal suite. We are still getting compliments from our guests on our venue choice and they are still talking about how fabulous the food was and how impeccable the service is.

I probably won't be going back but that is for other reasons. The course and place is nice. A few greens and tee boxes were a little beat up, but overall a nice place.

Just got home from a wedding there. Everything and everyone was exceptional. Felt very comfortable and safe. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Food was amazing and drinks were great. The grounds itself was beautiful. We all had a great time.

Play in the Thursday night golf league. Great short course with fast greens. Traps need better drainage and more sand. Pace of play is too slow. Too many weak players.

Attended the Hoffman wedding today and was very impressed with the Food, Bar, appetizers, and dessert. 5 star services all around. Excellent place to have an event. Best reception I have been to in years.

Planning a wedding during a pandemic is not easy but NVCC made sure our wedding was a special day. I can't speak highly enough of their flexibility when it came to postponing, back up plans if we had to postpone a second time, and using their resources to find us a tent just 8 days before the wedding when we had to move our indoor wedding to outdoors due to new restrictions. We worked with Kate and she always made sure to answer our questions. NVCC was very accommodating when it came to the menu because we had guests with gluten-free, dairy-free, and peanut allergies and even went the extra step to have signs at each station stating what was in it and which allergies couldn't eat it. We really appreciated that extra step! Leigh was our Maitre'D and she was wonderful! She was always there when I needed something and I felt comfortable asking her for something. The staff was great at cleanup, making sure to pack up all our stuff so it was one less thing we had to do at the end of the night. It was such a beautiful wedding despite all the circumstances that worked against us and I highly recommend them!

We looked around and around for the perfect venue for our 10/24/15 wedding and stopped once we found NVCC. From the contract being signed to picking up items after the wedding, they have always been quick to respond and flexible with their time. Brigid was ALWAYS available for questions, big or small and they were very open for you to come in to check something out in the room if an event wasn't going on. I heard from multiple guests the food was awesome and the service was five stars. I felt like a queen the night of as the servers were very attentive and always looking to help in any way. It was a perfect day!

It's beautiful inside and out! The food was superb! The staff was pretty cool. The grounds are well manicured and there is a golf course. Great parking!
