The workers seem overworked. Expect delays with responses. Be mindful of obligations and the status of your case, as errors made on the processing end can affect your ability to participate in programs.

Sydney pettyford is incompetent and lazy and sends you on a run around. We sent in everything that was requested then when it came time for an interview she wanted up to date information and the interview was post phoned. This is something she should have notified us of before the interview. We supplied her with up to date information at the next interview only to be told she wanted information that she previously said was unneeded and that the paperwork I provided wasn't the "correct type of bank statement " which once again was something that she could have told us seeing that I provided her the same type of bank statement before.
She is an incompetent who should never have been put in that position to drag prospective first time homeowners around just because .

Can the ones that been on section 8 for 3 genrations please go back to school or something. There are people like me that want to take full advantage of such opportunities... but y'all be abusing the help given to ya. Then have the nerve to complain on assistance.. while people waiting. Have the nerve to keep pushing children out knowing you can't afford them. NRHA please move me up so I can better my situation, not seep deeper into self destruction.

To hard to get into. I had moved recently then realized I had old address on the application because this my first time applying for this program , I was on the waiting list at once but then I was tooken off idk why . I don't recommend section 8 to folks .just go out and seek help and go to a shelter , I know it's hard but people are desperate right now and affordable housing for low-income based people is very limited and hard as h@#$ to find. I won't be filing for this program again out of all due fustration on my ongoing current situation.

I applied back in April of 2019 went to my first interview and haven't heard back from them. Called and called my caseworker Jennifer White. She sent me an email saying my case was sent to another woman by the name of Sybil Bullock. Left brief messages repeatedly on this individuals voicemail still no calls letters or anything. When I went for the interview I was already on a dire situation and I still am. Virginia as a whole is a big joke and they don't care for anyone!
