Nordquist Sign Company did a decent job. The end result met my expectations, and the team was professional throughout the process.
This company stole over $26,000 via theft by contractor. We contracted Nordquist Sign company to construct a 14'x13.5'x48' tall monument sign at our shopping center. We contracted on October 4th with intent for mid-December installation and provided $26,157 as 50% down. In early December they informed us that (1) The install was going to be end of January for the pole, mid Feb for the sign and (2) They finally ran engineering and had a $5,000 overage, wanted us to pay $2,500 of it. In January, a few days before pole installation was scheduled, I was informed they hadn't even ordered the pole AND they were going to have another overage for concrete of $8,000. At this point we started the process of cancelling the contract, both parties agreed it was for the best. The problem however is that Nordquist sign company is an organizational disaster. (for warning purposes Lawrence Sign and Advantage Sign are all one poorly run operation with Nordquist-owned by Robb Walker). They didn't have the money! and still don't! They have provided two checks for $7,000, both of which were NSF. They talk a great story, even in the midst of stealing from us, trying to say "we're doing the right thing, we're handling this", but those are nothing but hollow words from Robb Walker, a GREAT LIAR with no moral compass in my opinion. He has no clue, and clearly no remorse that he stole a massive amount of money from a newly formed company.
If you are a contractor, business, or anyone in need of signage or signage services....AVOID this company.
