I work as an Epic training manager. I would not recommend this company to others anymore. Nordic charged us a huge amount of money for these senior consultants' "expertise." It turned out that they're not the experts that they wanted us to believe at all. The Tapestry consultant pretended to know what she's doing and even flat out lied to me in my face to cover up the mistakes. Sometimes, she would end the shift earlier than scheduled time. There's a lack of time commitment! In the end, our FTE analysts had to fix all the mistakes, and I got scolded by the management....

Simply horrible. The trainer consultant had no idea what she was doing. It was frustrating for both the analyst and Epic's technical support team. I expected better performance from someone with a job title "senior consultant."

This company has one of the most aggressive anti-competitive contracts I have ever seen. I was advised by legal council to not sign as it could be damaging to my career in the long run. The contract was overbearing and very broad which included things like, "During my employment with Nordic, I will not engage in any IT - related activities not involving the Business ". It also said you are not allowed to maintain your professional profiles or resumes. They tried to sweet talk it by saying they don't enforce the contract but they wont remove sections. During a meeting discussing the terms with them I was told that most people don't even read the contract. I would STRONGLY urge anyone considering a position with them to read this very carefully. Take extra care when reviewing the Duties of Loyalty During Employment section. Find other agencies to work with.

Where do I begin? Clueless consultants that do NOT have sufficient experience with EHR configuration. When their mistakes are brought to their attention, they immediately shift blame to somebody else!

Not consultants friendly at ALL! This is a company that was built by consultants. Lol! I sent them my resumes a couple of years back and the same position they had another recruiting firm had. They rejected my resume (before even showing the client) and the other company submitted my resume and I ended up getting the contract over 4 other consultants. I try to warn all my consultants colleagues to stay away from them AND when one of their recruiters contact me I ignore them and block them. I would let a mom and pop firm represent me before I let Nordic represent me. Sad that this is a firm that was "supposedly" built by consultants. They actually lost their way.

Our hospital brought in these trainer consultants to help us design the training curriculum of various Epic applications. My manager and I were disappointed in their poor performance. Our analysts had to redo the training curriculum because Nordic's consultants' training materials did not reflect our organization's workflows. In the future, we would just let our own certified analysts design the training curriculum.
