The staff are friendly, and the environment is nice, however nothing particularly stands out. Decent selection of drinks and nibbles. It is a nice place to hang out with friends, but can get quite cramped when busy. A fairly standard bar experience.

We had a lovely meal in here last night, the kale and Cauliflower burger was such a nice change. My partner had the beef olives which he enjoyed thoroughly. Service was very attentive, well done.

Good food, shame about the wait. We were in for a quick lunch one Monday afternoon. We arrived and there were only 2 other tables of 2 in the place. We sat in the raised area, ordered some drinks. Once they arrived we ordered food. I ordered the cajun nachos and my friends ordered the cajun wrap and a burger. Around 10 minutes after we placed our order another 2 tables came in. And some how they recieved their food before us. In total we waited 45 minutes. With the only apology of this being a quick 'sorry' as our meals were delivered. The food was good in the end. Won't be hurrying back.

A no-frills friendly pub with a good atmosphere. Food is always well-cooked and side salad and vegetables are always fresh. Central heating is usually on, so it's nice and toasty. Highly recommend for a drink and for eating.

Worst service in Scotland! Few customers and several staff but no one available to take drink order. Food good but staff chatting with each other so no more drinks and again had to go to the bar to get the bill.

Service excellent and friendly. Food a bit pricey for pub grub but delicious chilli burger with chunky homemade chips. Chicken fajitas a bit bland and greasy but good portion. Not sure I would return as better value pub grub elsewhere.
