Will never go back again. I felt I got singled out for trying to buy beer without having my ID, which is an understandable policy although being used arbitrarily, but I look and am nearly 40 years of age. Moreover, an employee came by 10 mins later to my table just to check the beer on the table didn't belong to me. Is that really necessary - there are responsible people in the world. And the frequent oversight our table received made me feel like I was harassed and discriminated against. Lucky there are plenty of other breweries in Charlotte.

The beer is alright here and I am a huge pro masker but employees are not polite whatsoever. I am extremely supportive of socially distancing but if you even stand up from your table outdoors while putting your mask on you will be reprimanded in front of the entire brewery. Meanwhile tens of children (over 3) will run around without masks. We also tried to take one photo 50 feet away from the public and were yelled at by an employee. Fortunately there isn t a shortage of breweries in the Charlotte area and we will be sure to go somewhere that s less embarrassing next time.

No Duh! It's NoDa!

No Duh! It's NoDa!

Hop Drop is an extremely popular beer. It isn't my favorite because it tastes like resin. That's ok though, there are dozens of other great beers coming from NoDa.

Simply put, if you're looking for a seasonal beer or something unique, NoDa must be on your list of breweries to sample.

The Charlotte location has a food truck and outdoor games. Really cool place.

Great Brewery with Tons of Space; Very Specific Niche

Overall: plainly put, the brewery, the brews, the space, the decor, and everything is amazing!! I'm going to pull everything I can to make sure that I am absolutely objective as possible and not let my bias seep in. The brewery is great. There is a ton of variety in what to choose. The service is friendly and prompt (and they are great on covid protocols), and you couldn't ask for a more serene setting with tons of space, outdoor furniture, and even a food truck that seemed to be rocking. To be fair and simple, it is just not my cup of tea to literally have 40-50 children romping about, ranging from a few weeks old up to teenagers. I personally have children and would be miserable if I brought them to a brewery. Again, this is a bias of mine and I admit it. Just not my thing, but not holding that against brewery. Not exactly sure why it's taboo to take kids to a bar, but breweries are completely OK, but again, my issue.

Brew: there is a ton of variety and cool names to boot. We got two flights and went with a mix of sours and more traditional. The beer is really good, but not necessarily the best we had while in Charlotte.

Space: there are a ton of patio tables, chairs, benches, firepits, etc. It really is a perfect space outside for enterainment purposes, and there is a lot of space inside as well. Cool art and deco abounds throughout, which adds a creative, unique element.

Scene: I know it helps business, but there were legit 40-50 kids all around. If this is your thing, then you have found your mecca. If it is not, it's impossible to tune out. To each their own, but having brews like I'm at a playground, I'll head to Dave & Busters. It is what it is, but I don't hold it against the brewery itself.

Going to have to agree with the review below from Danielle. The staff was very rude and judgmental about masks, even when we were abiding by the rules. It would be nice if the staff has some CFS. Our group ended up closing out our tab and leaving after we were hassled for standing at a table, in the sun, drinking a beer, 40 feet from the nearest table with people. Wont be going back nor buying their beers anymore. Plenty of local breweries to support.

From reading other reviews it looks like this is a reoccurring theme.
