My stay here was amazing. The room was not that big but it was nice and cosy. The room was very clean and I got a good night sleep here. I m definitely returning here soon. My only complaint is that I wish there was a kettle available in the room and I wish the room was a little bigger. Other than that I highly recommend this place!!
Not fancy or pretending to be anything other than what is advertised. It was clean, modern and really well equipped with a large screen TV on one wall at the foot of the bed. The bathroom was a wet room and the shower was of a very high quality both in terms of water controls and pressure. I'll definitely be staying there again.
Oh my dear, this time I really don't know how to rate this experience. Let me tell you the whole story in a nutshell. I went for a conference, booked my flight and accommodation, everything looked fine at websites. Upon arrival, I entered a tiny room, just the bed, a chair and a bathroom area with a washbasin, toilet and shower, all in all some 2.5 by 2.5 meters, no place to put clothes and no window. I know I get the best sleep when I'm dead and buried but while alive, I do need to see the outer world, so the missing window was a problem. Although I am not claustrophobic, I was close to a panic attack. Fortunately, the sweet reception lady was very helpful offering me a studio (for double the price of the booked room, mind this). The studio was perfect, spacious, comfortable, and finally I did enjoy my stay a lot. So, if you book this hotel, make sure you get the type of room you need to feel comfortable.
The room is compact but has everything you need & was very comfortable. The location is good & there was no street noise. The wet room was nice with a great shower. There was no windows at all so it was hard to judge the time when we woke but we thought that was a good thing. When you turn the TV on the first "channel" is a camera on the roof so you can see what it's like out & prepare accordingly. The price was great and we will use again if in Birmingham.
Cool pod rooms. Funky decor. Brilliant showers. Cheap as chips. And right in the centre near the bullring. Highly recommended. But be aware there are no windows in the rooms. But it's fun. For a night or two
Clean, comfortable and very quiet hotel, but only basic facilities. Very small rooms which are fine just for sleeping but not much else, and no windows! Turn the TV on to see what it is like outside. No tea/coffee in the room anymore, but shower is very good.
I love this hotel! The hotel is just next to Mailbox and 10 min walking from New street train station. I can recommend the apartments here. You can choose between small rooms without windows or apartments with wall to wall window and kitchen. They have secure inside parking with easy access to the apartments. (only 4-5 parking spaces)
Great location for evening meal and to explore city. Rooms tiny as expected but clean and pleasant, and cleverly designed. Dropped stars for 4am fire alarm with no explanation or apology.
Very small rooms - they do warn you but it is extremely small. Like, the bed is 2/3 of the room and the door is pretty much touching the bed when you open, to being in front of the shower room door when fully open. I had quite a few bags and it was a squeeze (with just myself in the room) so I can't imagine with two people. OK if you are a light traveller.
