Nice Place. Students are coming from various areas. Lovely surroundings. But only cons is communication.
Well I'm a student here, and I'm not giving 5 stars because of it. I have been to this place for only 7 months and I fell in love with it. The greenery, the locals, the scenery, the climate, the campus in whole just one word for it, Fantastic!

Spent 6days for workshop. It's campus is nice. New infrastructures are so cool.
It is one of the oldest NIT in among other NIT college, education quality is so gud and campus selection record is to gud, in few months smart classes will start,smart classes is closed to complete.
Amazing college. Though the campus is not so good. But new hostels are been conatructed that are quite amazing plus the placement stats are good

Best Institution in Jamshedpur among all previous or newly constructed and established technical school. It's dream of mine and All Jamshedpurian Student to enroll and take education.some are lucky who taken admission and completed their studies.
This college is among the best colleges of India in terms of Placements. It does not hold good rank in NIRF due to poor infrastructure and lack of research. But construction of new academic building is going on. Hostels are mind blowing, each student is provided single room with balcony from 1st year only...

NIT jamshedpur is the heart of technical education of jharkhand state. Being one of the prestigious National institutes, it resides over an area of more than 300 acres with lush green forests and mind boggling natural beauty. The newly built 1st and 2nd year hostels looks like the main building of a big MNC. The mega mess built just opposite to the hostel serves good quality food to the students 4 times daily. But the main academic building of 1960 has not been renovated till now and is very ill equipped. Maintainance of the NIT is not so good as of now. But if you are thinking about joining it, then there is none like this in all jharkhand. The placement of NIT JAMSHEDPUR is better than BIT mesra.

It is a great institute with a great heritage,it boasts of mega hostels and placement..... But classrooms have to be renovated and buildings to be constructed more and more,to compete with the best institutions....
'' WORST infrastructure(academic building, labs), poor management, ignorance'' are some obscure truths about this place, only the reputation(being 60+ year old NIT), will help you get through.this place(NIT JAMSHEDPUR) should be ur last resort.

Best institute to persuade engineering in jharkhand
My alma mater. My college. Being an Institute of National Importance (INI), it has excellent placements. If you're especially from metallurgical or mechanical engineering background, you're bound to visit this place sometime in your academic career. Get drenched in CulFest or gear up your tech skills for Ojass, the two fests of NIT Jsr- they have prizes more than a million!
This institute has a large campus. It has 9 boys hostels and 2 girls hostel. Academic building with 8 academic blocks. Placement is excellent here but infrastructure is very poor. Faculty members are satisfactory. New academic building is in process. It conducts several cultural and technical fest where students from others college come and participate.
