We went to the Apollo theatre to see Everybody's Talking About Jamie. It was a fantastic night. The show was excellent, emotional but fun and very entertaining. The theatre itself is nice, we were in row L of the stalls and had a great view. Our drinks from the bar were a bit warm so not ideal, but overall we had a great night.

The Apollo is one of the smaller theatres built in a time of extreme luxury and the decor and plush upholstery reflects a money no object policy on the part of those who designed and constructed an opulent environment for patrons of the performing arts. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Visited here to watch "everyone's talking about Jamie" the theatre is easy to find, and the bag search team are professional and friendly whilst doing a difficult job.
The theatre is remarkable in terms of the architecture and decoration. A bit smaller than it looks on TV, the theatre is no less impressive. The bar is small and the beer options are limited, but okay for a quick drink before the reason you come here. Searching is good, with clear views from our position in the dress circle. Overall a very enjoyable experience, certainly made better by a great performance of a wonderful show .

It's a lovely old theater. as with many older theaters it's not very user friendly. I was in the back row which I didn't think was a problem but there was a low overhang and I am over 6'3 so if I stood straight up I hit my head.
Also when I went to pick up my ticket they could not find it and took a long time for them to search. Even though I booked it online sometime ago they had neglected to put my name on my ticket. Luckily I brought my email receipt or I guess I'd still be waiting in line.

Really good theatre. Was slightly late due to traffic and we were quickly brought to our seats which was a great experience after being nervous about it. Beautiful theatre, not the biggest but even the seating with some obstructions was not problematic at all. Would recommend a show here!

Saw Jamie here. This is *not* a musical review, it's the venue. The Apollo is well organised, well maintained and we'll staffed compared to other theatre's I've been too. Getting tickets, finding seats, interval drinks and toilets.. all very well managed It's in Soho, close to China town, so plenty of pre show drink and food options.

A nice theatre right near Leicester Square, a bit on the small side, especially in the grand circle where we were seated. The toilet facilities were small here and entry to this area was on a side door which wasn t very clearly marked, the waiting area to go in is tiny so don t turn up too early!

What an amazing theatre, such friendly staff, and show was amazing, really close to stage, then after returning home (2 hours away) to my horror, realised that I had left my glasses at the theatre, so thank you to anna who helped me, to get them back, above and beyond she went, so thank you

"Everyone's Talking about Jamie" is a wonderfully insightful play set in Yorkshire about a boy who wants to dress as a girl. Aspiring to be a drag queen, his mum first, then his fellow classmates, his teachers, and the whole world fall into line behind him, loving him and supporting his aspiration.

We loved the show and the theatre was beautiful but I can safely say the lady at the box office giving out tickets was one of the most rude and unpleasant people I encountered all day, I don't know if I wronged her in a previous life but it wasn't a very nice first impression.

I had tickets to see Wicked last night at the Apollo Theatre. We booked tickets online and had to pick up at the concierge. we arrived 10 minutes before the show and the line for ticket pick up was out the door. but the line moved quickly and we got our tickets within 10 minutes. the show was packed and the seats were decent. one drawback was the the rows are very close together so it makes getting out a wee bit difficult during the show.

Absolutely lovely venue! Feels very cosy and intimate. One of the smaller theatres in the West End but that didn t take away the feel of the show at all. Everybody s Talking About Jamie was absolutely phenomenal, I strongly urge you to More

Operation Ouch was fabulous! My daughter was delighted to see both of her heroes live! The show was entertaining and educational and Chris and Xand even gave some quite personal insights into their time growing up. Inspirational!

Went to see 'Everybody's Talking About Jamie', which was amazing in itself.

We arrived a few minutes late, and although they originally offered to let us watch via a screen, a very understanding woman let us stand at the back of the stalls until we could be led to our seats during a brief break.

When this happened however, two people were sat in our seats (we had three seats altogether), and the staff then offered to move us upstairs until the interval. This was a little frustrating, as we had booked seats in the stalls to avoid many stairs due to two of our party having trouble walking. Eventually the staff decided to move the two people who had taken our seats.

Again, this was a little frustrating, although it was not the theatre staff's fault. However, during the interval, a conversation with another family revealed that their tickets had been given to others before they had arrived, very odd!

Overall I'd say, make sure you get there early so there's no confusion with your seats and everything (that's a given though). And I feel there should be a better way of making sure everyone is in the right seats before the show starts.
