Nike Basketball Camp Review

My 16 year old son can't wait for next summer. Exceptional training, great food, nice campus.will be back.

My son absolutely loves this camp. He attends the Neumann Goretti camp location and the coaches and staff are amazing! He learns so much in a week's time and has so much fun doing it. He practices all the time what he learned. It is a week well spent!

My son attended his first Nike Basketball camp last week and it was fantastic! We saw improvements in my son s game almost immediately. Coach White was awesome and provided great leadership for the kids. Overall we are super satisfied with the camp and look forward to attending again in the future.

Camp is well run, skill development is top notch and the positive approach to coaching is great!

The camp my son attended was Tyler Lydon camp and it was such an awesome experience. Great coaches. Like no other. Will definitely do another camp for our son.

My daughter had only played basketball for 3 months on the school playground before going to this camp last summer. With the skills and confidence she gained during that camp, she then played on her schools 5th grade team. One year later and she was the MVP of her age group. Thank you, Nike!

This camp teaches basketball skills, but also sportsmanship and the self discipline needed to be a successful athlete. The camp directors are amazing and high energy.

It s a very sisterhood atmosphere. The older girls teacher the younger girls. Very supportive of each other and encouraging. The staff all were friendly and personable. They even make the Parents feel at ease. It was my daughters first year and she s already planning for next year. She s only 8 but it was a very safe environment. She did the overnight and loves it. I would highly recommend it for any girls with or without experience in basketball.

My son really enjoyed the skill challenges and won each one except 1. It was exactly what we were looking for. He s looking forward to coming back next year.

My daughter and son both attended a Nike camp early this summer and had such a good experience they will be going back the last week of summer as well. There is a lot of positive encouragement that goes on and they keep it fun. I especially like to sign up for the camps run by Alex G as he is tough in a good way for my son and really breaks it down for him how to be a player on the court that coaches look for.

My son had a wonderful experience at this camp. The staff was exceptional, as were the rest of the campers. The camp was very well run, with a significant amount of attention given to campers as a group and individually. Each camper got a personalized hand written evaluation at the end of camp. My son (13 years old) was enthusiastic about going every day, and would have loved it if there were additional camp weeks that he could have signed up for. Cannot say enough good things about this camp and the folks who staffed it.

Campers were worked hard to help them with their game. And become a better person in life. It was a great way to gather information on their knowledge of the game and to better understand the friend ship of others.

Thank you so much Nike camp for giving the kids this opportunity to improve. For an Asian, Yanibin thought about giving up basketball, but he loves the sport so much that his parents still support his dream. The coaches at the camp gave him a lot of encouragement and expectation. They taught him how to exercise and how to play. The most important thing is the encouragement of the child's self-confidence. Applying to the camp was the best decision of 2019. Thank you to the organizers and the coach. Wish you all the best!

This year was our first experience with the 2019 Nike Basketball Camp.
The staff was extremely kind focused on teaching basic basketball skills.
We will be a "return customer".

Nike basketball camp was a great experience for my two sons, ages 11 and 13. They attended the overnight camp at TCNJ and were able to dorm together which was perfect. My boys intend to go again next year and will be telling their friends about their positive experience with Nike camp. The director was very professional and extremely helpful with our younger son who was not in the best shape prior to camp and felt a little physically overwhelmed. The camp is the right amount of rigor for all types of players and gave our boys an opportunity to grow with their basketball skills and independence. Thanks to the coaches and director for a fun and rewarding experience!

My son did a Nike basketball camp recently and LOVED it! He did an overnight camp at Neb. Wesleyan. The coaches there were great and I loved getting the feedback from the coaches about how my son did. It's also a great way to meet new players and friends and have new competition from kids from all over the state. Highly recommend.

My son, Xavier had an extraordinary experience at the Nike Camp. He looks forward to attending again. He especially enjoyed the Domino s Pizza and Chick-Fil-A meals for lunch. Thank you for making this experience an enjoyable experience. My money was well spent.

My 13 yo son didn t say much when I picked him and his friend up from camp. He was tired and his usual teenage quiet. I figured I would find out what he learned the next time we play basketball. Well, we were pretty equal before camp but he totally whipped me after camp. He was sooo much more confident and better at shooting, defense and attitude. What a difference!!! Well worth it!

My son had a blast. Being around kids with his same passion was so much fun for him. His dream day is to play and talk about basketball all day. That is what he got to do. Even watching basketball games during lunch. Thanks for everything.

My daughter really learned and enjoyed the Doug Bruno overnight basketball camp in Naperville, IL. She came back exhausted from her 3 day camp but said it was worth it and is ready to put her new skills to use and hopes to help her team win some games.

My daughter had a wonderful time, even she couldn t speak English, but she was amazed how other campers tried to speak and communicate with her. Saying they were very friendly and kind. Yuki and her friends were exceptionally very friendly. The coaches too were awesome. She hoped the camp was longer. Thank you for your good work.

My son's confidence and skill was lifted due to the inspiration and expertise of the coaches. He absolutely loved it!

This was the best experience for my daughter to learn fundamentals about basketball. This truly allowed her to be a student of the game and learn technical terms for things she had not learned since she has really learned to play. She was tired each day because she put in effort both mentally and physically. She loved it! I was able to see her growth each day. I excited for her to attend another camp in the future and look forward to how it all transfers to her organized sports teams at school. I want to thank all of the staff for taking the time to teach her and evaluate her on what she needs to work on! It has truly motivated her to get better and work on her craft. This is definitely a great camp for young students of the game because it teaches them the fundamentals and not just about winning games.

My sons first but not last overnight Nike Basketball Camp. He loved it! The coaches were very supportive and worked with him to improve his game in a way that did not make him feel insecure. Check in was a bit chaotic but the kids really don t care about that so it was more of an annoyance for us parents. We will be back next year for overnight camp. He s off to Nike basketball day camp next week.

My son JJ really enjoyed the camp it improved his leadership ability in the game. It also forced him to take charge and make decisions to better set his team up for success both on offense and defense.

The camp and coaches were excellent. Great drills to help improve but in a manner that made it fun.

Our son had a great time meeting new friends, learning new drills, and working hard all week at camp.

I was a nervous wreck leaving my 13 year old daughter all by herself in another state, she however was not. They let us stay as long as we wanted when we got there and go to the dorms with them. She was devastated the last day, said it was the best experience ever and made some forever friends. After her adrenaline went down, she slept for about 2 days! Most definitely will return! Highly recommended!!!

Great camp, staff was friendly and energetic. Very well organized, my child had a blast!

Our nine year old attended this camp in Nashua this summer. He loved it! Everyday he got better and better. We highly recommend this camp. Coach Deb was great!

My 14 year old son did the Nike Basketball Camp in Orlando this year and had a blast. He was able to improve his skills from which I saw an immediate improvement after completion of the camp. The staff, coaches and facility was 1st Class which is what you'd expect from a program sponsored by Nike!

My son loved it! He felt he improved a lot and loved the coaches. He won the MVP award for his age group (he s 9), not because he is the best player, but because he had a great attitude all week. I love that they rewarded effort and character and not just skill (although there were awards for that too)! He can t wait to return next year!

My daughter had a wonderful time at camp and learned a great deal in a week. The camp staff was supportive, energetic and fun. They worked her very hard, but she is more excited about basketball than she has ever been.

It was a good experience for her. To get away and live on campus. One thing she didn't like was that middle and high school was together. Maybe you should think about having separate dates for different age groups.

My son who is 15 took this camp this year. My only regret is that he was not in that camp for the last few years. We just found out about it this year and unfortunately 15 is the oldest you can go into it. If you have the opportunity to send your child to this camp do it early and do it every year they will benefit greatly from it.

Nike camp was great- enthusiastic, encouraging, and engaged staff. Well organized. My son learned a great deal in the week. Highly recommend.

My husband and I are so impressed with how much our daughter's basketball skills have improved in just two days. I am also happy to see her enjoy playing the game once again. She enjoyed this summer very much and is looking forward to going again next summer.

The coaches made it fun for the kids, and the kids couldn't wait to show me their skills in an adult vs. kids matchup!

We had such a wonderful experience with this camp and HIGHLY recommend it! My daughter's playing has changed over just the course of one week. They also teach core values and focus on what it means to be respectful at all times. We cannot say enough about Coach Moses and the rest of his staff! Thank you for everything!

This was Skye's first, full camp experience. There was never a day that she was unhappy. She loved the counselors, met several campers and looked forward to going back for the week. Her favorite was learning the eurostep which she tried to use in one of her games. I would definitely go back again next yr only maybe the sleep away version.

Great camp! My daughter was terrified at first but they welcomed her and helped her through it. She learned so much in the 1 day, and happy to see the outcome of the camp. Will definitely be doing more.

This camp was an amazing experience for Zharia. Unfortunately, I think she could benefit more if we would have opted for the overnight guest because of the many programs offered after the day campers departed. Some of those skills will be paramount to her development. She has been inquiring about next year camp opportunities.

Great camp for learning the fundamentals of the game and how to play the right way. Coaches focused on building the payer and the person. My 10yo learned a lot about basketball and servant leadership. Highly recommend! Chattanooga staff was great!

My son has attended several basketball camps in the past. The Nike Basketball camp was structured so that every child would benefit in their particular skill tier. They expected hard work from the kids which helped push the kids to their next level. We will be going back next year and the year after!

Both of my sons loved this camp, it was a fun, challenging learning camp. They both game hope happy but exhausted! Definitely recommend!!

I really appreciate the idea, (this is why i gave 5 stars) but I really want to have that kid of camps in my country, Poland, but basketball infrastructure isn't big, so I just wanna tell, that it might in other countries too.

It was great camp!! My son learned a lot of stuff. (Skill, Physical & Passion etc... of Basketball.) They were great coaches, programs & players. Thank you for taking care of my son.

My son had a great experience at camp! He was able to focus on areas of his game needing improvement, and the communication to parents was very valuable to help us support him moving forward as an athlete. His favorite part of camp was playing 3 vs. 3 with competitive peers.

After attending several basketball camps this summer my son voted the Nike camp the best for coaches, lessons,games, and friendships. He always had a smile on his face at pick up!

Great, great camp! My kids have attended for years. I feel like many summer camps serve as more of a day care than an opportunity for growth. This is not one of those camps. The kids are really taught how to improve their basketball skills in a positive and fun environment and they are given feedback at the end of camp that they can use moving forward. Highly recommend it.

The camp was 3.5 days. He loved the first 3 days but on the last day had to sit and watch the superior players play...he would have liked to have been playing.

My son learned a lot of valuable skills in this camp & they also will carry over into day to day life. He throughly enjoyed himself & would like to come back next summer! It was a lot of hard work, but it was definitely a worthy investment for my son.

The Elite Skills and team competition along with the training was Top Notched. Coaches were very focused on kids improvement and very helpful in correcting flaws that kids had. Excellent program.!

The best camp experience we've had. Our 7 year old loved it and really improved his game after the 4 days of camp.

He had charismatic coaches who adored him and got to play on Cal's real court, with lights and all. It was amazing. I wish there were more weeks of this camp for him.

Great coaching!!! Great leadership!!! The coaches explained a lot and allowed the kids to work on what they taught with 5 on 5. Loved how they split them up in skill level. It was nice to see the coaches get after them and not be too easy on them. One issue was the long 4 days but that s because we lived 1 1/2 hrs from the camp. It was well worth it. The hard work took my daughter to another level.

The Chattanooga TN Nike Basketball Camp is fantastic!! Our player thoroughly enjoyed herself while learning new skills. I like the fact that after being taught things she was able to implement them in 3 on 3 scrimmages. The coaches took time to work with her individually when needed, gave encouragement, and fostered self confidence.
Her skills improved and she was given tools to use to continue that growth at home.
As we walked out after camp ended, our player asked me to sign her up for camp here next year. Job well done Nike Basketball Camp.
