I was referred to Nicolson Garage door through a very close friend of mines. This friend actually has a degree in Electrical Engineering. If he can t fix things around his house, he s only going to trust someone that he knows their work. So he referred me to Nicolson.
I was pleased from the moment I met him. After taking the measurements he said he would call me later that evening with an estimate. He did. After getting the measurements I called a couple friends who have garage doors and asked if his estimates were fair. They both told me I was getting a good deal. At that point I decided to hire him and agree on a day to start. With the exceptions from the weather Nicolson had my garage door up in no time. My garage door is very quiet. He also installed the app on my phone where I can activate my garage door from anywhere.
Let me add one more thing. After giving me an estimate Nicolson asked me what I wanted to do with the old existing wooden garage door. I said please get rid of it. With no extra cost he did so. Also he cleaned up the area a little better than it was before he started.
I inherited this house after my mom passed June of last year. I m not to quick to let anybody make adjustments to this house. With that said I m a very pleased with the installment of my garage door. I know my mom would love it too.

Mr. Nicolson was very professional, timely, personable, and friendly. Communication was spot on. His helpers that finished up the installation were great as well. One out of two of the garage doors installed had a dent at the bottom of it, but no big deal... Mr. Nicolson got a replacement panel installed within a couple of days. What an excellent experience! I called Nicolson Garage Doors & Gates to help with an old and faulty garage door. The owner showed up on time, reviewed what we we had and discussed options for a new door. I found their pricing to be very reasonable, their installation timely and zero rubbish or mess when they finished. I m 100% satisfied! I asked the owner about a sticking front gate at the entrance to our property, and he was able to make an adjustment to get it to working properly. I was fully expecting him to recommend a new gate, but he said the adjustment would fix the issue. Impressive! I highly recommend this company!

When I first phoned about a garage door when i purchased my house. Nicolson garage doors came and gave me an estimate. He came back and installed the door plus all the equipment. Anytime I have had any service or repair needs over the many years he will come and do what is needed and his excellent work can't be beat. He has 5 star service with good pricing and I would highly recommend if you want garage doors or gates give them a call.

Bad business ethics. These guys won t answer phone and won t keep appointment for sales and service. I recommend you look somewhere else for sales and service. I called these guys and made an appointment for them to come out. They never showed up and won t return my calls.
