I was excited to have this product spruce up the curb appeal of my home. It was easy to install and initially looked good. Unfortunately, I would not recommend NextStone to be used outdoors. Or indoors if you have animals.
I warn anyone who will be installing it outdoors that if animals pee on the NextStone product (stray/neighbourhood cats or dogs) it will stain the product white- and no amount of touch-up paint will make it look nice again.
The company says it can handle outdoors but I feel it does not.
The company was rude on the phone and felt it did not meet their warranty standards.
Thought people should know.
I read another review on yahoo that said woodpeckers ruined his NextStone and company did not warranty that either.
I wanted to give a shout out to Anita G. She was super professional and helped me match the old veneer siding I had on my house when I bought it . Some of the best customer service I've every experienced. Thanks again Nextstone!!!
FIRST PROBLEM: They did not call and leave any messages regarding the scheduled delivery date. As a result we needed to contact LOWES to find out what was going on.LOWES contacted NEXTSTONE and apparently they NEXTSTONE EMPLOYEE was VERY RUDE TO THE LOWES MANAGER.
SECOND: The delivery person was VERY RUDE!
THIRD: Due to the above, the PROJECT DELAYED, had workers on site ready to work AND NOTHING FOR THEM TO DO.
FOURTH: They sent the WRONG COLOR OF STONE!
FIFTH: NEXTSTONE did not send the entire order. Missing all the corner pieces!!!!!! INSTALLERS COULD NOT DO THE JOB, ONCE AGAIN, DUE TO NEXTSTONE'S INEFFICIENT order processing.
SIXTH: We called NEXTSTONE directly, advised them they did not send the correct color and the corner pieces were not delivered. ONCE AGAIN, VERY RUDE EMPLOYEE, MORE OR LESS ACCUSED US OF LYING ABOUT WHAT WAS RECEIVED.
SEVENTH: Again spoke with manager at Lowes regarding the above. He tried to remediate, but advised us, he too was TREATED POORLY!
EIGHTH: NEXTSTONE NEVER OFFERED AN APOLOGY, DID NOT "OWN UP" TO THEIR MISTAKES, NOR DID THEY OFFER ANY TYPE COMPENSATION.
BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!! THE COMPANY SEEMS TO NOT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER, AT ALL!!!
LOWES WAS VERY HELPFUL AS A REMEDIATOR, BUT THEY TOO WERE MET RUDENESS.
I've recently done 2 major projects of NextStone & I'm embarking on 3&4. I've chosen next stone to be used on my companies future warehouse. It's amazing how much better it is in terms of installation ease & durability compared to other stone veneers I've used in the past. With Bellastone no longer on the market, I look forward to many more NextStone projects as we both grow together.
