We offer both full-time and part-time courses, so you can choose the option that best fits your schedule. Our full-time course is an intensive 22-week program that covers all aspects of multimedia journalism. This includes writing news stories, features, and reviews; producing video content; editing audio; and using social media to promote your work.
Our part-time course is perfect for those who want to study while working or have other commitments. It runs over 38 weeks on Saturdays only and covers all aspects of sports journalism including match reporting across different platforms such as print/online/broadcasting/social media etc., interviewing techniques with players/coaches/officials etc., feature writing about sport personalities/events/issues etc., analysis/commentary on games/matches/tournaments etc.
Both our full-time and part-time courses are accredited by the National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ), which means they meet industry standards for excellence in training.
In addition to our core curriculum, we also offer a range of optional modules that allow students to specialize in areas such as data journalism or investigative reporting. These modules are taught by experienced journalists who have worked at some of the UK's top media outlets.
