They are some lazy people who don't want to do their job and then you have people on here lying acting like they do good jobs they should be actually a one star I have experience no type of response back from them by email or phone and then yesterday I received a call
from them after I complained to Trenton about the things they were doing that's crazy I have to call up on you'll to get a response.

i would like to say that their is one lady that is a wonderful person and knows how to treat and help people. i really appreciate your help and concern. i had alot of stress and my health is not good. she is not my worker but she help me and explain what i had to do..thank you so much for your help cause as we get older we forget things . thank you ms cook and may god bless you.

I keep trying to call you and no one answer the phone so how do you get in touch for this pandemic, efficiently and effectively virtually?
Very poorly-run and disorganized. Landlords beware before buying in Newark. The NHA doesn't have any accountability it seems. My tenants try to get in touch with them and their calls are never returned. Very difficult to get anyone on the phone there, let alone get any kind of intelligible response from anyone. For NJ's biggest city, you'd think they'd invest in having good people representing tenants there.
Customer service is a complete mess, rude an unprofessional. They only work for the tenant never the landlord, free advised NEVER RENT your property to anyone on section 8, its take months and months not to mention MUPLITE COMPLAINTS and call to get your rent. Never again
They are unprofessional, disrespectful, never get work done, I've been trying to put my papers in to move for a month now and no one has responded back to me yet. I've called them everyday serval times and not one worker decided to pick the phone and let me know if they did my papers. UNPROFESSIONAL
Every thing that looks good ain t I m a resident for over 10 yrs Newark Housing is their name and being a slum lord is their game moved in this brand new townhouse like everything it gets old and needs fixing not happening with Newark House everything is about not having money what do tenants pay rent for I don t care if it s $1.00 the rent is still being paid they are quick to take you to court and threaten eviction for non payment but don t fix nothing absolutely nothing people please don t apply with this development it s not worth it even though you pay cheap rent that s just what you get cheap service I rather pay 1,000 a month somewhere I will be glad to call home I hate it here and one day I will be able to move but in the meantime I m going to fight for my rights with Newark Housing so anybody reading this just note because it s looks pretty on the outside don t be fooled especially with Newark Housing
