Robert gave me a wonderful haircut, and to say that my hair is challenging is a huge understatement. It's baby fine and multi-textured. I very rarely happy with my hair, and it looks terrific now.

Jacie is an INCREDIBLE hairdresser. I have been going to Jacie for the last few years and cannot rave enough about how great she is! She always leaves my hair feeling fresh and pampered. Not only is she great with hair, but she is so easy to talk to and very efficient with time! I'm so lucky to have found Jacie and would 10/10 recommend her!

This was my first visit to this salon and my experience was awesome. Robert was great. I loved how he cut my hair. He knows what he is doing and is passionate about hair. I will definitely be back!

I made an appointment with Robert and he was a great listener and had an eye for detail. His work was beyond my expectation. I loved how he was very nice, informative and realistic. I found my new hair stylist and would highly recommend him for both his work and great attitude and loved his sense of humor!!!

It was my 1st time at this salon. They got me in very short notice - same day. That was great. There was some kind of confusion though, I guess, about what stylist I was scheduled with because when I came in I was seated in two different chairs. It took a few minutes. My stylist came out after a few more minutes. I definitely got the impression that the intention of a good experience was there - but it felt rushed for being my 1st time here. She immediately grabbed my hair tie and began pulling down my hair before asking what I wanted done. It made me uncomfortable but I tried to get past it and start the discussion about what I came in for. She was nice enough and said "Okay". Then washed my hair, cut it, and told me I was done all in about 30min. All and all the cut was OK. I have really thick hair, so after I dried it at home (no blow dry or any heat services in the salon currently) I realized it's very blunt and choppy in some areas. This is mostly because of the weight of my hair overall. My usual hairdresser knows this and she blends it in very well using a mix of thinning, tapering and point cutting.... So I do understand I'm used to her "knowing" my hair. But, again, this was a little rushed and my 1st visit here. I might recommend them to my friends who don't have as thick hair as me. But I probably won't go back myself.

The prices and quality of services are spectacular! Making appointments is always quick and easy. Robert has been cutting my hair for a few years now. I always ask, and he always shares genuine recommendations and knowledge about everything for my thick, long, wavy/curly hair. He's also super funny! Sorry I never gave anyone else a chance, but even if you can't get Robert in your appointment still come here first for professional service at an affordable price. Awful experience and will never return! I made an appointment for my 16 yr old daughter to get highlights and a haircut for a birthday gift. A day before the scheduled appointment the salon called and needed to change the time from Saturday at noon to 1:00. Fifteen minutes before the new appointment time I received a text saying the appointment was now at 3:00 but never got a call about this so thought it was an error. We showed up right before 1:00 and stylist Makenna Griffin met with my daughter and then informed us she didn't have the all the products needed to do highlights and told us we would need to wait while she drove to a supply store. She was not prepared and was very rude and inconciderate of our time. She knew the appointment was for highlights and should of had what was needed. We left and she made it very clear that she couldn't care less. Very unprofessional!

If you are a color-treated blonde, see Robert. He literally has blonde down to a science and will ensure that you not only have beautiful color upon application, but that it will age well. It's important and a lot of stylists overlook that. He always does an awesome job!

Not only is Robert a great stylist and listener, he's fun!! It took me a while to find someone in the area that actually could cut my straight hair, but I got the best deal because he's not only good, he's also a great person!!!

This was my first time getting my hair cut and colored at the New York Hair Company and I couldn't be happier. Jacklyn Saunders did a fantastic job in selecting the right color for me and she cut my hair just the way I like it. I am so pleased and will definitely go back there.

Krista did a great job cutting my curly hair. I'm always anxious about having my hair cut since it is very curly, but she took her time and did what I asked for. I will be going back.

Recived a nice hair cut. Professionaly done 3 weeks later still looked fresh. Can manipulate the hair so it still looks good after 3 weeks. Very well done. Even worked my calick to look good.

They are super friendly and always pleasant. AUDRA is awesome, always cuts my hair and my family and she does a great job everytime.

I've went to New York hair several times for trims, cuts and highlights. Every time I went I haven't left satisfied. Some people love this place but they never did a good job on my hair. I went to get Blonde highlights and it was so bad I had to get my parents to get them to redo it for free a second time. A few months ago I brought in a picture and I gave a specific request of no layers and the cut to be to my shoulders with a picture. I don't remember this woman's name and she should be glad that I don't. She cut it an inch away from my ears. My EARS. And gave me horrible layers. I cried for weeks and should of refused to pay. I looked like I was a member of the Brady bunch it was so bad. I can't do anything with it because of the layers, and 5 months laters it's now CLOSE to being the length I asked for and still is miserable looking. I definitely will never go back there and don't suggest anyone to. I did get my hair done for prom a couple months ago and it looked great but that's the only time and I don't know her name either unfortunately. As for cuts DONT GO. Im not speaking for every employee at New York Hair just the ones who were supposed to do mine and failed.

Went to Robert and he truly was a "Master Stylist." Got my first full balayage about 2.5 months ago and I am still in love. He took great care to ensure that I was getting what I wanted, but also not harming my hair too much. I am naturally dirty blonde so it did not take as much of the harsh chemicals to brighten my hair. I plan to return this weekend, hopefully, to get my partial done, which will help lighten it even more. After that, the upkeep is a partial balayage every 6 months, which is amazing. I would absolutely recommend this hair salon and especially Robert. He was friendly, professional, fun to work with, knowledgeable, and highly skilled. It cost around $250 after tip I believe, which is exactly what I expected, so I was very pleased. The partial balayage will be cheaper, probably closer to $180-200. I have long hair too, so if you think that price is high, remember it goes by hair length as well.

Had an appointment here for over a week. Day of the appointment drove 20 minutes there, waited for 15 mins there then the manager comes out and says. Kristal..Jaclyn is sick and she just left, and I don t have anyone who can do your hair today. What??? Needless to say I left very unhappy. Unprofessional and acted like they didn t even care.

Shane is the best!! I go for color, high lites, and cut!!! Love them, and him!!

An unfortunate damage case, my long grey, once beautiful hair was wrecked last May by bungled processing. Now 8" shorter though still long, I was being ever so careful, I walked in for a consultation, seeking Robert as a result of my homework. Great energy. Received immediate consultation. He was attentive, thorough and knowledgable. Appointment within days. And voila, I walked out in 75 minutes with soft, really great hair having been lovingly restored ... by Robert. Took less than half the time of every single previous stylist and cost was the least expensive I have ever paid. For real. Thank you Robert.

Robert is amazing! I had botched layers from another salon and he was able to blend them out so well! I was super nervous going to a new stylist after my last experience at a different salon but he put the anxiety to ease very quickly. He is very knowledgeable and honest about what does and doesn't look good as well as expectations going forward with your hair, which I really appreciate! I can't wait to get my color done by him next time!

I recently was forced to find a new hair stylist due to scheduling issues, so I was a little nervous before my appt. I originally booked the appt for highlights but changed my mind before the appt and wanted to change my hair back to its original color. Hannah was super nice and accommodating about the entire situation. She explained everything in detail and made me feel at ease about the process. I m not one to write reviews, but Hannah absolutely killed it and I LOVE my new hair! I will definitely be coming back!

ROBERT! THIS guy knows how to CUT hair! I have very thick hair (he says he's dealt with even thicker but he acknowledged that mine is a handful!), and its been a real challenge finding a stylist who can deal with it since I left behind my hair guru, Heath, in Winchester, Kentucky when we moved here 5 years ago. Robert spent a good bit of time looking at my hair, and gave me a rundown of his cutting plan prior to starting. I understand how challenging it can be to deal with a lot of volume, but he patiently worked his way through it and created a cut that moves well, is blended, and makes my existing highlights pop! I'm very happy - he has a regular customer in me! PS--If you have a good sense of humor you'll laugh along with him the whole time he's working on you! He's a breath of fresh air!!!!!

Can't say enough about New York Hair and their stylists! Jaclyn Saunders is definitely the one to go to for color... she is by far the best! After a botched color job from another salon, Jaclyn had her hands full doing the repair and not only got me back to Ash blonde in only two visits, but the color looks amazing and I haven't stopped receiving compliments on how fantastic my hair looks.

Audra is fabulous. I had another stylist I wasn t over the moon for. I started taking my daughter here and was so pleased that I switched (you know how loyal we are to an excellent stylist). My daughter moved 45 minutes away and still comes down to see Audra.
The salon is always clean and comfortable. The shampoo room is soothing. COVID is nuts but we just have to deal with no blow outs.

I m so happy with my hair! Robert is awesome and super knowledgeable. I went in not really knowing what I wanted but that I wanted something new, fresh, and cute. Robert knew exactly what to do and I love my hair! Also, great prices. Will definitely be returning.

I moved to Florida a few years ago and I had yet to find a Place where I felt at home and comfortable to get my hair done. The moment I walked in Jaclyn was welcoming and easy to talk to. I did not know exactly what I wanted but I had an Idea and she made it a reality! I love my new color and cut and will be making my appointments with her from now on. I found my Florida Salon!

Asked for a light amount of highlights to blend grey growing in and walked out looking like a red/brassy Pepi la Pew! Went back in the next day to have it "fixed". After these two processes on my hair, I have tons of broken hair wherever they processed it...and it's still showing a brassiness around my face. The "fix" seemed to wash out after 2 shampoos. Very disappointed.

I ve been going here for years and I ve never had a bad haircut...until today. I get so upset every time I look in the mirror with my hair down. I like Hannah and she did a good job the first time, but she messed up my hair so badly today. The layers are so jagged and uneven, the front part of my hair is two inches shorter than the back, and my hair barely fits in a ponytail. I will continue to wear it up for the next several months until it grows long enough to be fixed by a different hairstylist. I m so embarrassed by this haircut that I won t even show my friends. Even my mother couldn t find a single good thing to say.

Avoid this place. When there for hair cut, but persons who working are old and does not have experience.

The cut is over priced. On the phone when I made an appointment, they told me is $17. When i get there, I asked them them to show me the price list for service. They told me that the do not have a list. After the cut, they charged me $47. I showed hair dresser two pictures of the cut I wanted. The cut is nothing like the picture I showed her. I was very disappointed. I will not go back.

Lydia did an amazing job on my very long damaged bleached out hair. I'm so happy with my shorter style and brown hair! She put my concerns at ease given that I was making such a huge change and her expertise was top notch!

The best hair salon The receptionist is always friendly, super helpful and does her best to fit you in if you are a walk in. I like to make appointments ahead of time and it s always so nice. The cutest decorations and everybody makes you feel right at home

I'm very happy here! Krista has been doing for my hair for almost 2 years now. She always does a fantastic job. She even did my hair for my wedding a few months ago-it was beautiful!!! Reasonably priced too.

I showed him a photo of a hairstyle I liked and he recommended a slight alternative that would look better on me. He set about working on my hair and took his time, explaining how I can style at home to get the best results. Thanks Robert, I love my new cut and style.

So disappointed in what happened at this salon I would recommend going else where I got almost no difference in my hair and that's from other stylists that work for this company as well.....owner won't even refund half my money or refund 50 of the 139 I spent on top of that won't even try to make me happy and fix it and add more blonde or add blonde period....I will go to the BOB about this company this is ridiculous and can't believe they are so rude and inconsiderate of hard working people spending their hard earned money at their establishment too not get what they would like she has never met or seen me but yet has the audacity to tell me what i got is what I asked for !!!!

Hannah was great! I only put 4 stars because I don't know how their other services are but I can't complain. The price was great and I didn't wait long as a walk in. I will be returning in the future.
