Horrible Experience!! They sent me the wrong computer 4 Gig instead of the 8 Gig that I paid - although they are aware they haven't fixed the issue and it's been a month! On top of that they made me buy an exorbitant amount of training hours and after 3 hours told me I had used up all my hours in back end setup ... which all had to be redone by another company the correct way. Oh, and by the way the trainer they had me spend the 3 hours with had never used the version of the system that I bought so the 3 hours were spent writing up tickets of things he needed to research! Unethical, Horrible, and hope you don't fall victim like I did!!

I have been using New West Technologies for about 9 years or so. I came to them due to my original Microsoft provider wasn t offering any type of support. I did a lot of research before I switched over the where highly recommend! I have spoke to I think every Tech in the company at this point. I have had nothing, but great support and they always try to help me with every issue that I have going on at any point. I just recently upgraded my server I was terrified of the switch the server is the heartbeat of everyone s company. Before anything happen, I send them all the information that needed to be added to the new server so they could pre-installed as much as they could at the home office then shipped me the server. Almost everything was already done the things that could be done. We scheduled a time before my business opened and we spend a few hours re configuring everything and my business was up and running on the new server before my business opened. These guys are the best in the business in my opinion. I get more help from them even if it s a simple question to them creating scrips & re-configuring my server
Our company has been working with New West for about two years now. Their technicians are knowledgeable and prompt. We've had a few POS emergencies and they are extremely quick to have a tech solve the issue - even on weekends and holidays when our problems occurred. It gives us peace of mind to know that New West will assist us with any POS issue we have.

Worked with them on a project that was not done to our satisfaction. While they gave an hour back on a 50 hour project, they refused to do any more than that. They then threatened to send us to collections over an hour that remained unpaid after I explained that my company had to spend 20 + hours fixing what they did not do and gave $1000s back to our client because of the unsatisfactory completion of the project. I work with other, more reasonable resources for my projects after that experience.

The New West team did a great job implementing our RMS to AX transition for 15 retail stores. They are always very prompt in resolving any issues that may arise from such a powerful and complex software as AX. Our company was in the stone ages prior to setting up our POS system. WE still used no tracking or networking in our cash registers. With the design and guidance of New West we move years from our paper slow and dated information on sales and profit. As part of the POS they in stalled a network to provide immediate data and the ability to track year to month to day performance. You pay for what you get. When you deal in technology it is always different. everyone wants something that is not easy or uniform. We all have our own business needs.

- 9/26/2018 UPDATE - these guys even installed the ssl certificates incorrectly. It is a never ending cost paying to un mess up what these guys basically ruined (and they built the system from scratch) -
Hired these guys to do a Microsoft AX implementation. After falling well behind go live date, running 80% over original budget, and providing a slew of empty promises, we cut bait and went with another firm to finish things out.
Have spent the last 5 months fixing all sorts of problems they left behind. Agree with Kenny that seemed like a lot of my bills were for on the job training.
Examples of things we had to fix right after terminating our relationship with them:
- the payment connector they wrote from scratch in fall of 2017 used TLS 1.0 - making it completely useless in July 2018.
- For our setup, they put SQL and AOS on the same drive on the same server...not a great look.
- our test server was setup to sync retail jobs to the production server, instead of to the test server.
The list goes on and on.
The real disappointment was then things really went off the rails and it was clear they could not deliver on what they promised, their ability to assist when asked by the people taking over the project for help in understanding why they did what they did was met with a big bowl of nothing. So rest assured if you get in with these guys and need to get out, your new partners will be essentially starting from scratch.
Also note, the positive reviews on this page suddenly showed up after they saw all the negative reviews that they had - You can see by the dates all the reviews showed up EXACTLY at the same time. Take from that what you will.
If you are using Microsoft AX (or frankly a decent technology partner) - my advice would be to look elsewhere. I'm embarrassed that I ever chose these guys. I'd give negative stars if I could...

Tech support is always a pain, but these folks make it as painless as possible. We have a two to three hour time difference and they always accommodate. I hate to have to call, but am always glad to get Ryan and his team on the other end.

NWT is a professional, courteous, prompt, and personable group to work with. For our transition from POS 2009 to Retail Management Hero a year ago, they've helped us work through any issues we've had. From the first contact feeling out a new POS, then initial setup of RMH, through to now with the occasional service question, I can honestly say that they've never been anything but honest and upfront about everything. Never tried to up-sell us on something we don't need. Would recommend without hesitation.
