as an upper valley business owner myself, i would like to warn other businesses about this company. beware if you deal with these folks, they will not deliver your goods, they will take your money and lie to you. when you do try and work with them and try and provide a service for them they will screw you over any way possible. when dealing with them, expect to not get paid, unless you hold what ever it is that they want. expect to get a ridiculous review from them, from an employee that masks their name. and check out NEKD's good reviews, written by the exact same person that writes the bad ones about your company. I will admit I was hesitant about doing business with these guys because of a couple of negative comments, but there were more good ones so I did. We had to overhaul a very tired kitchen and install a complicated venting system that others told us would be impossible or so expensive not worth it. The staff at New England Kitchen Depot didn't hesitate, gave us their suggestions and guided us through the process. They also custom cut all our stainless steel work tops. We also purchased our small wares through them because even the on-line competitors couldn't compete and it was all delivered with everything else. Our kitchen although small, is efficient and works well. I cannot say enough about the professionalism of this organization. They quoted us a fair price, completed the project in the time frame needed, cleaned up after themselves and even though on my end their was a glitch by another contractor that I hired, they worked around this and it all worked out perfectly. We highly recommend them!
This is strictly from a business point of view, but the company is a risk. I've seen time and time again that they will open accounts, place large orders, and refuse to pay their bills or even respond to calls. I can only imagine this extending to their customer service. I would avoid them at all cost unless is to find a cheap deal on what I can only assume to be their silent fire sale as the company continues to go under, far be it expect them to honor some kind of warranty or personal guarantee
Our firm performed some service work on some refridgeration for them and they refused to pay us even after going to court and getting a judgement against them. In my opinion they are "deadbeats" as it was not a lot of money involved and they were not forthright and honest. We would not ever work for them again as we don't do business with people of this type. I'd advise anyone doing business with them to "Beware".
