I called and said I would be late to my bridal consult over the phone and if it was okay to come late. They said sure come in. The store owner wouldn't let me try on a particular outfit after asking what my budget was. He snubbed me as soon as the next appointment walked through the door. I mean completely ignored me there on after. I get that you have another appointment but let your other colleague know to assist me at the very least. Too bad I liked the store they had nice stuff but you missed out.. I was ready to do business with you.

I had such a wonderful time shopping for my bridal lehenga with the New Delhi company. Being of an Italian/English background I was not familiar with the styles but they were SO informative and so welcoming!! I would highly recommend! Will definitely be going back with my mother in law for all of our saris and lehengas in the future! And also the quality and material were stunning! Could not have been happier!

The New Delhi Company was the first store I walked in for my bridal outfits. I fell in love immediately.. I looked around at other stores but nothing could beat their collection. I was on the hunt for someone who could make a reddish pink lengha with a teal duppatta. Guarav and his team were the only people who actually showed me those colors and created a beautiful swatch. When I went to book my reception outfit, I was in awe by the Gaga Glitter. They turned it into a beautiful Western style A Line Gown. The net back with the crystal buttons and full out bling! Throughout the process, Guarav and his team - Navi & Amrit communicated with me regarding updates. I felt very comfortable and confident with their execution. My first experience with The New Delhi company was when I was getting married, back when they were still CTC West, operating from the basement of a home! Compared to the multiple other companies I had dealt with, they stood out, even at that time, for their high quality and unique design aesthetic, as well as the incredible customer service. I went back to them for future family weddings and was never disappointed. It's been heartening to see them grow from those humble beginnings to what they are now: Innovative, sensitive to cultural issues and social justice (the shadeism campaign has been incredible and so very needed), pushing boundaries and yet still ensuring the customer is understood and taken care of. This is the only customer-service oriented store that sells Indian wedding outfits that I know of. They have amazing outfits and their showroom is just gorgeous. I bought an awesome gold anarkhali from them that I just love and get SO many compliments on.
I don't usually write up a review, but this place definitely deserves one! If you're looking for a vendor who communicates with you throughout the entire process and delivers your outfit on time - this is your store. The New Delhi Company truly made the vision that I had for my reception lehenga come to life. They listened to what I wanted and were able to provide recommendations to ensure they understood the image I wanted. The whole process was done virtually as I do not live in Canada and with COVID-19 they were extremely transparent and kept me up to date. Their service was exceptional and they really took the time to understand what I wanted. The final product was beautiful and fit perfectly. There are no words to explain how wonderful the folks are at the New Delhi Company. I am a few lucky brides who can say that the first lengha they ever tried on was the one (I take quite pride in this), and of course my wedding lengha was from the New Delhi Company!
Why I went with the New Delhi Company:
1) Their craftsmanship (probs most important) is incredible, it is really hard to pick a lengha of your dreams because there is so many beautiful options! Every time I went to visit the show room, I was in awe!
2) Customer service was speculator, every sporadic and impulsive email (there were many) sent was answered! I never felt worried when sending an email or calling, even if it was my 3rd email of the week.
3) Trust. the New Delhi Company creates your own lengha especially for you. Even if there is a lengha hanging in the show room, they will create one from the ground up just for you! Even IF other brides have similar or the same lengha as you, you STILL feel extremely special that you are walking into your wedding day with a one-of-a-kind lengha made for you and made to fit you!
Of course this all requires A LOT of trust. The New Delhi Company has never failed me, not once throughout the process of my lengha and more! Story time:

We had such an amazing experience picking and designing our wedding outfits with Navi from the New Delhi Company. They were very professional from the beginning and are detail oriented. Because they book by appointment only it really ensures that we received full attention from Navi when we went in. We really liked the fact that we could customize embroidery and colours of the outfits. For my husband's outfit we really liked the fact that we got his entire morning outfit ( pagh and shoes included) from New Delhi. It made things alot easier and everything was colour coordinated to a T. I went to Navi with my ideas and inspiration for my reception outfit and he was instrumental in making it come to life. We hired Navi to style us both in the morning and it was one of the best decisions. He ensured our outfits were executed they way we wanted. Would highly highly recommend and we will be definitely be coming back.

Every bride deserves this experience! This is how an Indian Bridal store in Canada should be run. After a google search and recommendation from a family member, I contacted Gaurav at the New Delhi Company in a panic. I had just learned the vendor responsible for creating my reception lengha would not have it completed in time for my reception the following week. Gaurav provided the experience that every client deserves. His store has beautiful pieces that may be expensive to some, however, the quality, service, and delivery, far out ways the cost of the outfit. He is NOT the typical Indian vendor and that is very refreshing.
New Delhi Co. was my one of my favourite vendors to work with during my wedding planning process due to various reasons.
1. Dress: I loved my dress and I still love it every time I look at it. Money well spent. The quality of the dress is unbelievable. The luscious fabrics used for the lengha and dupatta, the stunning intricate embroidery throughout my outfit, and the high-quality stitching are reasons I fell in love with my dress. I can't begin to quantify how many compliments I've received to date from family, friends, and acquaintances about how stunning my wedding lengha was.
2. Customer Service: Prior to booking New Delhi Co., I went in for a few appointments to try on outfits, look at their stock, talk to them and understand their process because I just couldn't make up my mind about what I wanted. They were so patient, pleasant, and understanding during this period of indecision I went through. Like every other bride, I was very nervous about what I was buying and how long it would take. Their team reassured me of their timeframes (that it would be ready in 4 months), that they would get the colour right, and that the craftsmanship would be on point. They helped me customize the outfit I had selected to better suit my requirements.
3. Communication: There was ongoing communication between their team and myself from the initial consultation appointments to picking up the final product. I didn't have to chase or hound them to get statuses or answers to my questions. They replied to my emails quickly. They provided regular status updates, sometimes without me having to ask for them. I appreciated this so much because it minimized my stress.
4. Delivery: It was ready ahead of schedule! This was so exciting because of the horror stories I've heard from so many brides that used other vendors and have gone before me. My friends advised me to give early deadlines to protect myself so that I could assure: (i) I got my dress in hand on time, (ii) there was enough time if alterations were necessary, and (iii) there was enough time to match jewellery and other accessories to my outfit. All of these were valid concerns but I really had nothing to worry about with New Delhi Co.!!
5. Product Pickup: When I picked up my dress, I was surprised the customer service was still warm and friendly. They still cared and didn't brush me off because the service was mostly completed. I was pleased to find that I didn't need any alterations but was assured by Gaurav that should alterations be required in the coming weeks, they would still accommodate, which was awesome.
In short, a lot of vendors promised us the world when my husband and I booked them but very few actually delivered. New Delhi Co. exceeded my expectations by not only delivering what they promised but also by making the whole process so easy and stress-free for me. And, they made it look so effortless! I sincerely had a great experience with New Delhi Co.

My personal experience with New Delhi Co. and the team was amazing from the moment I walked in (Feb) and walked out (June) with my outfit. Given I am a larger girl, I was dreading looking for Indian outfit because I actually cannot try one any of the pieces at the boutiques on and in the past when I've gotten customized outfits that never look the same as what was Imagined or requested. Gurav & Amrit were both attentive, well knowledge and allowed me to "try" against my body as many outfits as I wanted during my appointment. My only regret was not picking up my morning ceremony outfit from New Delhi Company as well. Cant wait to work with them again in the future, would definitely suggest them as a stop for anybody getting married or looking for a statement piece.
I visited the store a few weeks after getting engaged and within the first visit I just knew they were the ones who were going to make all my wedding outfit dreams come true.

The New Delhi Company has by far the best quality of embroidery and materials from all the stores I have visited in the GTA. They made a custom outfit for me and were completely upfront about they could and could not do which I truly appreciated. My wedding dress turned out stunning and was bit hit! I bought both my wedding and reception outfits from here. I was told that I would be able to custom make my outfit however I liked. As someone who was DDD chest
Size, I made sure went back multiple times for measurements to ensure the tops (and bottoms ) fit correctly. Not only did both tops not fit properly- the reception top was supposed to be simple and came back EXACTLY how the show room top was- way too blingy and busy for someone with a bigger chest. It came with cups that didn't even fit my size AT ALL. Thank god for the tailor who saved whatever she could of the outfit. When I discussed this with Gaurav, his excuse was that "there were too many cooks in the kitchen" then proceeded to tell me I'd have to PAY EXTRA to get another but couldn't guarantee what it would look like. I also had a train made for my outfit that came back half the size of what it should have been- but because he only designs visually and not physically he doesn't know what can actually be attained. I again, was told I had to pay extra for it to be redone. My budget was $350 max and I said not a penny over/ but when the bill came- it was $395. Poor customer service and I was VERY disappointed in my reception outfit top. So much so I don't think I'll ever be posting ANYTHING with it on how saggy my top looked and unflattering. I loved my wedding outfit after it was fixed, but my reception one still has me in tears when I see it. I worked so hard for this special day and now I don't ever want to see anything with me in it. It is very sad to say, but I would NEVER custom make anything from here again or recommend to anyone. He also messed up my friends reception outfit a couple years ago and didn't take responsibility for that either. In the end they just care about the money. Just get what you see. And make sure you ensure your measurements will be accurate when the outfit comes in.
I can't rate this place highly enough. My fusion wedding required a fusion dress, and I wasn't exactly sure what I was looking for when I walked in. The entire team was incredibly hospitable, from Amrit at the front desk to the designer Gaurav, to Navjot the stylist. They worked within my budget and my extremely unreasonable timeline, and my Indo-western fusion dress could not be more unique - or more perfect! So beyond thrilled, and even more impressed with the customer service. I came from out of town and they even squeezed me in for my fittings. Don't think twice - go visit them! I can't even begin to describe how HAPPY I am about my experience at New Delhi. I'm working with another vendor for my ceremony outfit and they've been difficult to reach, inconsistent with their responses and timelines. I'm genuinely worried about that outfit and in retrospect I wish I had New Delhi working on that one too. Big mistake!

I walked into The New Delhi Company 2 weeks prior to my engagement, I was extremely disappointed in an outfit I purchased from Bombay Trendz. At this point I had not expected to find anything and was really just testing my luck. But Gaurav really saved the day. He did a phenomenal job just listening to what I needed and providing honest recommendations and feedback.
I cannot express in words, but I honestly felt like my dress flipped my whole engagement around. I felt like a princess, the dress was beyond perfect. Everything from colour, embroidery, style and quality was exceptional. The New Delhi Company, has a great selection of dresses to choose from, good quality and they overall provide a very welcoming and hygienic environment to shop. It was a tad bit pricey, and I did go over my budget to pay for my dress but that kind of quality and service is hard to find and was totally worth it at the end.
