The place is very nice and varied, the staff are very helpful and understanding, the existing workspaces are excellent, and the services provided are very good
Friendly and welcoming, this venue had an excellent film showing for young children. The gallery space seems quite limited but they make the most of what they have.
Really enjoyed the drop in art session with the kids. Staff were super helpful, patient and knowledgeable. It's all free too! Cafe downstairs is worth a visit too.
It's place where you feel welcomed , nice coffee and the staff are lovely. Very good organisers for the events , you feel that your project is in good hands.
Bea and I performed in the space for which there had been a fantastic level of support. Afterwards we had refreshments downstairs, the food was tasty, the staff were friendly and we were the last to leave. It was a fabulous experience. X
Lots of well presented art all round the museum. It was interesting to see the exhibition on North/South Korea and the border as it was relevant to current affairs
Fantastic Exhibition on here at the moment. Not to be missed. It includes a 30 minute immersive mixed music experience. Enjoy the food in the Cafe too.
Cool Art Gallery with a well-needed focus on contemporary BAME artists. It would get 5 stars but the be been down before and there's not always an exhibition on. The cafe seems pretty nice although I've not eaten there.
I went to see the colour of love project and was disappointed to see local work placed on the 'staircase gallery' which is litrely less pinnacle than the staircase in anyone's house. It's more of a fire exit. Isn't this gallery supposed to be about showcasing local talent? Also wasn't the building funded and built to do so?! What a shame as it totaly took away the focus from such a pivotal and important exhibition about local stories of mixed race relationships and the greatness they have achieved. This gallery is not adequate for those with pushchairs, small children, disabilitiies or the elderly.
Friendly staff, nice cafe, lovely venue for music and dance/drama workshop space. Exhibitions not always suitable for children, so worth checking before visiting in the school holidays.
My regular quiet retreat to chat with friends, hold business meetings, read and relax, work away from home. Extremely well priced food/drinks, free wifi, friendly staff and atmosphere. Couldn't ask for more.
My favourite place in Nottingham to hang out or for events. The team does an amazing job organising diverse events and exhibitions. Always feel welcome there. Keep up the good work guys!
One of my favourite galleries in Nottingham. So rare to find art establishments that focus on curating work from BME and marginalised artists. Serious respect.
New Art Exchange has always on an interesting exhibition. Also many activities for children and a nice coffee shop for a break. I visit it nearly every week.
Lovely warm friendly place.. Very chilled environment... Even if you feel you're not a very creative person you certainly feel inspired once you spent time in that place
