If you have cats to spay or neuter. You can use ARGON a non-profit to as a cage and release program through NHS. Then released as ferels. They are really a good organization.
Got my new dog from here and she is great! Friendly staff who really care for the animals
The staff was very friendly and helped us immediately at our appointment time. Having to do things the way they are because of Covid is annoying, but they are handling it well. The facility was clean and the animals seemed well cared for. We went home with a beautiful cat.

Nevada Humane Society is a non-profit organization that has been serving the community for over 80 years. With shelters located in Reno and Carson City, this charitable organization accepts all pets, finds them homes, saves their lives, and is recognized as a leader in animal sheltering and stewardship.
The Nevada Humane Society was founded in 1932 by a group of concerned citizens who wanted to provide care for animals that were abandoned or mistreated. Since then, the organization has grown to become one of the largest animal welfare organizations in Nevada.
One of the key missions of the Nevada Humane Society is to find loving homes for all pets. The organization believes that every pet deserves a chance at happiness and works tirelessly to ensure that they are placed with families who will love and care for them. To achieve this goal, they offer adoption services where potential pet owners can meet with animals available for adoption.
In addition to finding homes for pets, the Nevada Humane Society also provides medical care and rehabilitation services. They have an on-site veterinary clinic staffed by licensed veterinarians who provide medical treatment to sick or injured animals. The clinic also offers spay/neuter services which help reduce pet overpopulation.
The Nevada Humane Society also offers educational programs aimed at promoting responsible pet ownership. These programs include workshops on topics such as basic obedience training, nutrition, grooming, and behavior modification.
As a non-profit organization, the Nevada Humane Society relies heavily on donations from individuals and businesses within the community. They have several fundraising events throughout the year including an annual gala which helps raise funds needed to continue providing their vital services.
Overall, if you're looking for an animal welfare organization that truly cares about its furry friends' well-being while providing top-notch service - look no further than Nevada Humane Society!
