Delicious cheese, and it is such a thrill to meet the farmer and the goats.
I had a wonderful time petting and visiting with all the animals. There was a cute black and white cat that acted as our tour guide for part of the visit. A map was provided and even had some extra information about some of the rescues on the back.
Amazing variety
Really not your average goat farm/cheese shop. A true artisan shop with tons of variety in both taste and texture
I'm very disappointed in your new packaging. Smaller quantity, much higher price. I purchased at price chopper in Queensbury last Thursday, not realizing it was yours. The quality is great, but.....
Price per ounce is substantially higher. Packaging is less ecologically-friendly. Overall, I'm disappointed in the direction this business has taken in the last year.
Love this place, any time I am in New York I swing over and stock up. The farm its self is really neat to visit. And the cheese is amazing. Lots of different styles and flavors. Highly recommended.
Great cheeses and ice cream - yes, goat and cow milk ice cream. Yum!
Self guided tours on this working goat and sheep farm most days 10-4. Formal tours on Saturdays at noon.
Animal-friendly staff and visitors. Pet Canada geese raised from orphan chicks greet farm visitors.
Pet ducks and pig too.
Lamas protect goat and sheep from predators.
Retired milkers pens. No culls sold as meat or put down for bad behavior.
Great cheese made from goats you can look at and nice people to sel it to you.
Their cheeses have become a staple in our restaurant.
Very nice place, Lorraine was a great guide, you could see the passion and love she had for these animals! Really recommended !
Amazing cheeses, with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Had a lovely time visiting their new location on Lake Avenue in Lake Luzerne!
Award winning goat and sheep dairy and cheese farm in the southeastern Adirondacks. Lorraine and Sheila love their animals and the artisan cheese they create. 300 goats. Dozens of sheep. Animal sanctuary. "Kunik" is made from goat milk and Jersey cow cream. Yum. Stop during Maple Days weekends, Thurman Fall Farm Tour and Cheese and Spirits Pairing in the historic barn.
This place is awesome!! The sanctuary for animals is absolutely wonderful! The animals are all happy and well taken care of! Happy animals make happy cheese! The cheese was soooooo good! The staff was very helpful and very informative! I highly recommend a visit when you re in the area. I really enjoyed our Summer visit!
