They are horrible at communicating with their tenants. I ve been living at a place for the past couple of months, I ve sent emails, called, even have gone to their offices just so I can Get a laundry key and mail key. It seems like every couple of weeks they get a new girl so every time I call And I do Get a hold of someone, they aren t aware of my issue. I m sure if I didnt Pay rent within the first couple of days they d be contacting really quick. And I m not the only ones who thinks this all the tenants in the units I m in say they ve had a horrible experience with them.

Horrible company. I was told I had to be approved to see property first. Once approved I was told the place was available to move in the same week, then it was pushed back to almost a month and they had something available immediately. I played the initial deposit and the day I was supposed to move in there were workers still working on property. I told Mr. Drake the place was not ready and he said tomorrow it will (keep in mind they charged me for holding the place. But I couldn't move in yet). The went to the place the following day and the place was still not ready. I told Mr. Drake the place was still not ready and he said it will be ready monday. And I realised it was not the place advirtised to me and said I had to talk to his boss Mr. Elly. After multiple attempts at contacting Mr. Elly he eventually called me back screaming about how he just got off a boat and how he doesnt need me to rent his place after I played them and they didnt fulfill there end of the agreement. 10 out of 10 would not recommend doing business with them. Slumloads

I live in one of the buildings Elly Nesis Company Manages and have lived there since 2006 and am very happy. Whenever I need repairs, they come out without any problems. Elly Nesis personally has come out to inspect our building to find ways to improve it and has even had courtyard meetings with the tenants to ensure that our needs were met.

I am only giving one star because it would not allow me to give 0. I have had a leak in my sliding glass door since November... When I moved in. They have done nothing about it. The maintenance guy came to look at it and said there was no issues when you can see the damage. He said he would come back that Saturday to fix it, and never did. I texted, and called with no response. The apartment local manager responds butsays he can't do anything. Then my electric bill started to climb, and there was a fire on the outside wall of our Apartment. They said they are not responsible for. Teco and Spectrum all have wires on that wall and said they are not responsible for it. I was told to get the Landlord to get an ElectricElectrician to look at it. They have not responded. The lady in the apartment next to us had her rent raised mid lease. The people across from us are paying 400 to 500 in water a month and they are not doing anything for us at all. I cannot afford this electric bill and I think it is the old AC unit. This place is a nightmare. Moral of the story please DO NOT rent from these people. I am getting a lawyer.

Re: Melrose on Waters - Tampa FL

Re: Melrose on Waters - Tampa FL

Run as fast as you can. I lived in Melrose on Waters in Tampa for 5 years only to be told without notice that my lease will not be renewed. I'm an Air Force Veteran and I have never been late on my rent. My son has (black) friends that would visit him (not often) and that's the reason I was given as to why they aren't renewing my lease. Never ever even came to me about any issues. Not once. Not. Once. This property has had at least three property management companies in a very short span of time. Previous managers never indicated any problems with us. Hopefully, this company gets the boot too.

Not renewing my lease turned out to be the best thing that happened to me. Definitely a blessing in disguise. I was able to find a resort styled new gated residence. It may be a little pricey but definitely worth it.

The crazy part is they never contacted me or attempted to contact me about any issues. This is how they treat their VETERANS. Thank God I was able to juggle some bills so that I could get the hell out.

There are laws against everything they did. Florida law indicates with one year lease you must give 60 day notice. I'm certain they broke disability act laws as well.

Nowadays Melrose seems to attract an overabundance of homeless people and gang stuff spray painted on most of the buildings in the area. I've been coming home to police shutting down homeless camps. They had the nerve to try to say my son (the disabled vet) was having undesirables on the property and they were concerned for their safety. What about the ACTUAL undesirables that are camping outside the property or that already live there? I'd rather pay a little more to feel safe around THE REAL PROBLEM of this area. Although the apartments are decent enough the area has gotten very sketchy. You're welcome.

Been renting a property in Redlands for three months now. Application process was straightforward and simple. The property manager has been an absolute charm to deal with and the few issues I've had were dealt with punctually. I don't mean to imply that they are perfect, but I have not had any negative experiences so far

Awful. My upstairs neighbor made unacceptable noise all the time, lied consistently about the number of people in her apartment and lied about me when I began expressing concerns to Elly Nesis. Elly Nesis did absolutely NOTHING to help me. They are a money-focused company that cares nothing for the people they are paid to protect and support. Money is the only thing that matters to this company. Big surprise. STAY AWAY.

The problem is the maintenance department, and the communication. The last two days I took off work to be at home for scheduled repairs and nobody showed up. Other neighbors have complained about similar issues. They just have a problem communicating. Now I will have to lose even more money by taking more shifts off work to wait for more maintenance guys that might again not show up. And not one apology, ever. When i asked them, they just replied, that's not our fault, not our problem.

They've also offered free insurance to current lease holders who would leave a positive review on yelp and here on google.

Apart from that some of their office people are helpful and nice. It just makes it really difficult if maintenance is not listening.
I wish there was another way than posting this review. Maybe now someone will make some changes there- even though i doubt it. I just don't know what to do anymore.

Obviously they read these negative reviews, but never reach out to anyone.

It takes a long time, meaning a week, to get maintenance to fix things, including an A/C unit barely working. Maintenance doesn t return text or phone calls. Heard maintenance of two people, have an apartment complex and a townhome complex to manage. Need more maintenance people that speak English well. Had better results with the landlords 12 years or so ago.
