Nemacolin woodlands resort Reviews

Interesting place if you happen to be in the area. Not enough to plan a whole trip around, but interesting Good way to break up a road trip.

Despite having a shortage in staff the people at Nemacolin were fantastic. Service was excellent. Food was incredible. Scenery was beautiful. TY!!

I have called this place about 8 times within the last 3 weeks to schedule a large group. No one has returned my messages. I spoke to multiple people, even was connected to the large group manager but had to leave her a message. I guess they have enough money and don t need my 150 person gathering. I m extremely disappointed, I have visited this location with my company multiple times and would not expect this type of neglected service.

Beautiful rooms, excellent waitstaff, fantastic food.
Add in spa treatments and pool time. Great Team builder and relaxed for another great year.

5 stars for service. The people were all wonderful. Everyone from shuttle drivers to the front desk staff, to the ropes course staff were all helpful and kind. 5 stars for the food. The room service, restaurants, and buffet-style dinners were delicious. I think I gained 5 pounds. 5 stars for the activities. So many kid-friendly things to do. My 4-year-old loved the carousel, mini-golf, kids ropes course, and swimming pools. I loved the spa and the holistic healing center and my husband loved the golf courses. 2 stars for accommodations. The George Washington Town Homes were about the equivalent of a motel 6. Tiny bathrooms, comforters that didn't breathe, and a toilet seat that came off of the toilet. We called and they moved us to the Lodge and it was a huge upgrade. So overall, this place is amazing, and we will be back- just not in the town homes.

I cannot say enough about this resort. From the spa to all the restaurants to the fitness room to all the pools. Amazing is the only word that come so mind!! We are planning to return next year same time. The Washington Town houses were great for accommodations and the zoo was awesome especially being right at our doorstep.

More than just a resort. A personal retreat and art collection of a visionary billionaire with surprises to explore around every corner and no commercial advertisements trying to let you spend more money as found in regular commercial resorts. Truly relaxing and inspiring experience.

The place is wonderful, great hotel amenities and a big variety of very interesting activities, for kids and also grown ups: there are plenty for everyone and all of them exceed our expectations, in particular the zoo safari.
The Chateau is a great hotel, rooms need some renovation but the whole experience is worth it.
The highlight for me was the art department: Art pieces are everywhere to be admired around the property, moreover the art studio for kids is amazing! Finally, during our stay I had the opportunity to meet Claire Hardy, artist in residence at Nemacolin, great talent and wonderful person. Bottom line, Nemacolin is a top family vacation destination!

Everything was absolutely perfect!! The best hotel I have and will have ever stayed at in my life! Never have we been more impressed with how a hotel operates - from the service, to the accommodations, to the wide array of activities, dining options, amazing spa and everything in between! Every detail is meticulously considered, and from the moment you arrive it feels like a whole separate universe - this place is absolute heaven! I never write reviews but felt it was important to acknowledge how above and beyond Nemacolin goes. We will be back - and hopefully soon!!
