Nelson Tree Service Review

They did great job cutting & cleaning up. All very nice men

Ignored private property signs and hopped the fence into my yard with 8 dogs. So imagine my surprise when I step out in my backyard to find a nelson tree service employee holding my dogs at bay with a saw.

When they left the we will be trimming in the future note, the number was called to notify them dogs would need to be contained.
~This was obviously very helpful...

I am extremely impressed!! The previous owner of my house would only allow the crew to cut what was needed along the power lines and wouldn t allow them back on the property to remove what was cut down, so needless to say there was a giant mess of brush, cut trees and branches everywhere. I called aep to have see why they hadn t cleaned up this giant mess after they cleared the power lines, they did explain about the previous owner and was out clearing it all within days and it only took the crew 4 days to get it all done! A job well done!

Not sure who hired them to do tree trimming around the power lines I have lived at this location over 30 years and this was the first time so much debris was left after trimming. Seemed like it took longer than usual

Nelson was contracted to trim trees around power lines in our area. They came while no one was home and it took me days to realize they had been there! They didn't chop our trees, they left NO mess, and what they did cut looked natural. I was so impressed with the quality of the work performed! Thank you for respecting our property.

Damaged my road in front of my barn by driving thrue it with out asking me and left a mess in my pasture after I asked them to stack the brush they cut so I could burn it call and left a message and never heard anything back. Absolutely infuriated with them and there performance.

Your crews are terrible. The ones operating around Morriston FL have no respect for people, the road, or the laws. The truck with license plate "p718943" whipped out in front of us last minute while we were going 60mph and then proceeded to go 35mph for ten miles with their hazards on and swerving dangerously all over their lane and into the oncoming lane. It is not only 25mph UNDER the posted speed limit on this road but ILLEGAL in the state of Florida to drive with your hazards on. The trees they've cut look destroyed, they leave limbs all over the road and the shoulder, and they constantly go drastically under the posted speed limits.

Power line post down due to tree fallen over and on my house. Tried their absolute best to minimize any damage, communicated well with me, and used plastic pads to drive the bucket on my lawn. Very courteous and professional. Someone buy this crew a six pack of something nice.

I can't say anything about their service, but the boys block my driveway every morning to walk across the street and down the alley (which they also block) to get to the gas station.

However, one morning as I was backing out they had just pulled up so they kindly backed up and gave me room to get to work without me having to say a word, so I guess they have a little common sense. Other times I've had to wait for them to get back to their utility trucks and leave.

I've seen these trucks all over in the past, but it's clear they don't respect you or your property if you're not a customer.

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. This company has no respect or regard for people or property. Looked out my window this morning to see that they had absolutely DESTROYED my beautiful trees and were in the process of destroying more. I walked down and asked them why they were cutting my trees. The man said they had asked us for permission and had a signature, which is absolutely false. No one in my household was asked for permission and no one signed anything.
Thankfully they stopped because I told them they didn't have my consent, but it's too late. They destroyed a beautiful 100 year old tree that was loved by my family. It looks terrible and I suspect that it will either die or need to be removed because they damaged it so badly. Naturally they left a mess, too. These people shouldn't be in business and should have legal action taken against them.
