The atmosphere is quite nice, there's a little bar in the hall if you're waiting for a show later, and the building is gorgeous.
Sadly, this is completely undercut by the seats. They are so tiny, that most kids could hardly call it a "comfotable fit"
I am by no means a large person, but even while sitting in optimal position, my knees where at most 0.5cm away from the seat in front of me, any movement whatsoever and you're touching something, or someone.
The seats are also rather small in width, but just enough to accommodate people being able to fit.
As people where sitting longer and longer, you saw the shuffle, stand up, put legs over rows in front of them, and even just sit on the stairs because there was more room there.
Personally, as somebody with a bad knee, a crampy movie theatre leaves me with discomfort, this however, meant I had to limp home.

NTGent (or Nederlands Toneel Gent) was established as Ghent's city theater in 1965. As an international city company, it brings productions to the Koninklijke Nederlandse Schouwburg (KNS). In addition to the performances in the theater on Sint-Baafsplein, in Arca and in Minnemeers, there are collaborations with Vooruit and Minard.

An excellent option, with a moderate price (about 12 euros). They used to have soup, vegetables, rice, fruits, all with a very good quality. It's a centric, quite, and artistic cafe. I highly recommend it. You are going to be satisfied.
