Breakfast was of good quality. Calm and peacefull atmosphere

What a lovely venue! We sat at a table under the trees and looked out over a grassy area where kids can run around and play. There was also a jungle gym. Everybody at the table loved the food and everything really was delicious. The bathrooms were clean and neat and the staff (even the security staff) were very helpful and friendly.

Great service, great wine! Thank you Anthony, nobody else at the other farms I visited had the knowledge you shared with us. Will see you soon!

I live in Cape Town and had never visited Nederberg wine farm. We visited this place at the end of December of 2014 and we were pleasantly surprised with everything. We had a very knowledgeable guide take us for a cellar tour, explaining the history of the place and showing us every angle of the cellars. Was incredibly interesting. Thereafter we did wine tasting, personally presented to us by the same fantastic German woman. What a great time and a good memory.

We hadn't pre-booked and Elmarie, one of the wine advisors, was extremely friendly and welcoming. The service was outstanding. The cheese and wine pairing was stunning, and great value for money.

Have had lots of nederburg wine but never imagine had go to the factory where the wines are been made. Learnt how the wines are produced and their years.

It was great evening with the good company, I can's say that wine was the best. No, I don't think so. And actually, it was quite poor wine tasting evening with the few types of wine. They need to visit Spanish wine houses and to see how Europe is going on. But anyhow, my memories are good about what happened in Paarl. :)

Great quality high cuisine, service is a bit slow but food came in a timely manner. Beautiful view onto the mountains from the tables on the veranda. It is nice for a relaxed lunch.

Went for tasting but ended up enjoying a garden party. Not all wines were available. The winery is nicr but views are not particularly amazing and wines were just ok. Would rather go elsewhere.

Every single thing was of the highest quality. They were very comfortable with the two little ones in our company. Highly recommended.

An early start for the day, we travelled for an hour plus to arrive at Nederburg Wines, one of the older vineyards in Stellenbosch. For a wine drinker like me, the professionally presented wine tasting session in the impressive ambiance was fantastic. A total of 6 types of wine we tasted, if you ask me to verbalize the tastes and aromas, I have to be honest. I don't know. Still, one thing is certain. I can differentiate between white wine and red wine, well, from the colour. Pretty much a simple thing, I am sure even a non-wine drinker obviously can do that as well. Okay, wine is also ultimately my comfort during weekends to relax prior to tucking into bed.

At Nederburg Wines, kicked off with wine tasting, we then toured the huge farm winery to understand a thing or two on wine-making process, returned to the foyer to purchase some wine and before leaving, we walked around the wine plantation to marvel at the beautiful sight of the grape varieties.

The meals are delicious and the view and open space is amazing. The old house gives a real sense of history. Don't forget to visit the wine shop afterwards to pick up a bottle of your favourite wine!

What an incredible place, even as a whole family we enjoyed the wine tasting and the food was Devine!!!

One of the best wine estates in the country. Awesome to stroll around, relax and take pictures. Great selection of wines which are moderately priced. Super friendly and helpful staff. Cozy venue. Good for groups and couples. All around great experience, will certainly be back!

Went to this place for a 2nd visit and the service was amazing. Im really impressed. Would definitely go back again.

Sometime early October:

Food = 5 stars.
Wine = 5 Stars.
Service = -10 000 stars.

Our waiter was honestly the worst. She took so long to come to our table. She took almost 30 minutes to get us glasses. A table that arrived after we arrived received their drinks waaaay before we did. Our wine tasting took so long. Really disappointed. Especially since we drove past so many wine estates to this particular one.

The food was quick and great but honestly my waiter was the worst. She didn't check on us regularly. I had to walk inside to get most things I needed. I honestly would have ordered some wine for delivery but our waiter never came to our table. Eventually we just went to the front, paid the bill and left. Really disappointing... Really.

We were there for a picnic. Large lawn with tables under the shade of the trees. Picnic food was nicely packaged and off the top shelves. Carmen was our waitress and she was very friendly and helpful. The other staff too. Can really recommend Nederburg. The old Cape Dutch house is so beautiful and the large veranda in front with tables and chairs invites you to sit there and eat. We will definitely go there again!

After 5 days in wine country my favorite vineyard. They tasting was extensive, unhurried, professional, and they leave the bottle with you so you can read the label.
In addition they provided a case for packing my wine bottles, even the ones from somewhere else!

We're people of "reds" so we have known and enjoyed Nederburg wines for a long time. Beautiful blends!

We were the first visitors of that day :) Dropped in just from the airport. Lovely lady Annijika (please correct the spelling if wrong!) took us for a tour around the winery, showed the cellar and the production centre. Actually it was a private tour! We were so lucky! She gave a lot of detailed information about the company, wines, grapes, terroir, history, stories behind everyday hard work of the Team. Everything was very interesting and we learnt a lot of new things. The history behind today's success was long (226 years long!), sometimes painful.

The Winery and the Team along with the Leaders and the Creators at the top are highly deserve all the World' and local rewards and admiration around the Globe!

After the informational tour we had a wine tasting. Of course we preferred their reds but it was amazing to taste some of their whites - we ended up with purchasing some bottles for home :)

What an experience this was! The place has such a homey feel to it and the people there was so helpful. When you arrive at the wine tasting room you receive a glass of sparkeling wine on the house! They have a variety of wine parings and they even have a kiddies option for "wine" pairing! I will recommend this place to anyone. It was good value for money and they aren't skimpy at all! The staff is extremely friendly and well educated and was able to answers all our questions in detail! Thanks for a wonderful time...

If you ever go to Cape Town be sure to book a day to do the Tour of the Wineries, where in addition to being in close contact with wild animals you can enjoy unforgettable landscapes and in addition there are several wineries where you can learn a lot about the types of wines produced there you can enjoy great wines even different from what we are used to like the legitimate Pinotage, my favorite is the Nederburg Winery was one of the ones I liked the most ...

Beatiful scenery and buildings. Great overall experience. Would've been 5 stars, but my main course had too much fat on the lamb and was difficult to eat. Other than that- I highly recommend a visit here.

A variety of different types of things one can experience. Wonderful and prompt service.

Nederburg is one of the best wines, well decorated winning awards. It has been blessed with great talented passionate wine makers. They have excellent quality wines my favourite being the Ingenuity... Italian Red Blend, Ingenuity Sangiovese/Barbera/Nebiolo Blend then the delicious Brewmaster. They have all the ranges of wines to suit taste and wallet. The most local famous being the Nederburg Barone. Service is very good and the place has great history in connection with the Manor House which dates back to 1800.This is place to visit.

Beautiful place to visit! Was there for a conference and what and awesome venue with great staff! A must visit if you are out in search of a vineyard. It is set in a beautiful part of Paarl below the mountains
