Nc ceed, Center for Economic Empowerment & Development is a non-profit organization that aims to empower communities by promoting sustainable economic growth. The organization was founded with the vision of creating a world where everyone has access to economic opportunities and can live a dignified life.

At Nc ceed, we believe that economic empowerment is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty and achieving sustainable development. We work towards this goal by providing training, resources, and support to individuals and communities who are struggling with poverty or lack of access to economic opportunities.

Our programs are designed to address the root causes of poverty and promote long-term solutions. We focus on building capacity in areas such as entrepreneurship, financial literacy, job skills training, and community development. By empowering individuals with these skills and resources, we help them create their own pathways out of poverty.

One of our flagship programs is our microfinance program. Through this program, we provide small loans to entrepreneurs who lack access to traditional banking services. These loans enable them to start or expand their businesses and generate income for themselves and their families.

We also offer business development services such as marketing support, product development assistance, financial management training among others which helps entrepreneurs grow their businesses sustainably.

In addition to our microfinance program we also offer vocational training programs in various fields including agriculture production techniques , ICT skills among others . These trainings equip participants with practical skills that they can use in their daily lives or apply in formal employment settings .

At Nc ceed ,we understand that women play an important role in driving economic growth hence we have special programs targeting women entrepreneurs . Our Women’s Entrepreneurship Program provides tailored support including mentorship , networking opportunities , business coaching among other resources aimed at helping women overcome barriers they face when starting or growing businesses .

We also recognize the importance of partnerships in achieving our goals . We work closely with local governments , private sector actors , civil society organizations among other stakeholders towards creating an enabling environment for sustainable economic growth .

Our impact speaks for itself; since inception Nc Ceed has supported over 10 000 entrepreneurs across Kenya through provision of capital investment worth over Kshs 500 million ($5 million) which has led creation over 20 000 jobs directly impacting over 100 000 people indirectly .
