I do not recommend this business. My daughter passed away over a month ago. I filled out the online notification form and have since called them three times--all to get them to send me a packet so I can submit her death certificate and answer more questions. Getting ridiculous. No one will give me a straight answer. Not the service I expected from them.

I hope I die and can collect my money before it is all stolen....
They say they handle discussion over the phone, but they do not return calls.
NOTE all of the positive reviews are they "old" NMAA, the new management is stripping the company of what made it great. The end is near.
WARNING... Is Navy Mutual about to go out of business? If so, your savings could go away in a flash. ... they've recently lowered their "guaranteed" funding rates, changed their policy structures and are repossessing member equity.. trouble signs that the end is near... these changes alone will cost me about $10k, and probably $100k over the life of my policies ... They've also implemented aggressive sales practices in place of the quality programs that they used to have... all signs that the end is near? ... WARNING

What I love about them: Less expensive than anywhere else, really great insurance products and offerings, and ease of interactions. We shopped all over; they were the best with prices and products, and after we bought from them where astonished by their service as well. Highly recommend.

I rate Navy Mutual extremely high, I have numerous products with them, I spent time reviewing the product while comparing them to others. Navy Mutual provided the better value each time. The communication and the interaction was exceptional as well.

Customer service not what it should be. Have had 2...

Customer service not what it should be. Have had 2 instances in the past 2 years, where service was not very responsive. Took a personal letter to the
President & CEO to resolve 1st problem. (He wrote back a personal hand written note of apology.) Recently it took 4 phone calls and an email (unanswered) to get a check for an overcharge on a monthly payment. That process took 7 weeks.
