I received an email on Tuesday, January 8th at 1:15pm to set up a phone interview. The email asked what days and times did I have available. I said anytime. The interview was set for today, Wednesday, January 9th at 1pm. On today, I received an email at 12:30 (30minutes before interview time) stating the interview was cancelled and a job offer was made to another candidate earlier today (this morning) per the email. My only thought was, why didn t you email me as soon as the offer was made . That would have been courteous. I then asked, Was this someone you had reached out to, but just heard back from them on today about their decision? That would have explained to me the reason I received such a late notification of the cancellation. But, I received no response to my question. I am not upset, just disappointed it was not handled better.
