Naval Nuclear Power Training Command Reviews

I really liked my training and experience here at nuke school, made a lot of good friends and memories that I now cherish and fondly look back on, but the way I was treated by the upper chain of command, including this place, as a whole by my vindictive roommate in the context of the guilty until proven innocent Kangaroo Courts of Nuke School, was less than stellarly. But, hey everything is fine now, I fully own my house and successful business, something that wouldn't be possible had I still been in the navy (I would still be 4 more years until getting out at this point), so I'm somewhat grateful things turned out the way they did.

UPDATE: Making close to 120,000 year now, thanks for kicking me out! Took 2 years to earn all the capital necessary to kick off the business idea, and it's paying big.

Hell on earth. Literally. But it was a great learning experience.

Bloody exhausting and hot coupled with a long commute. Go to college kids.

They said it would get better in the fleet.
The fleet said it gets better after ORSE.
After ORSE they said it gets better after the NEXT one.
I've been bamboozled. :(

The schooling is no joke, and it's not for everyone. If you need help in any way, talk to somebody. Stay out of trouble and do what you can, and remember that flunking out is not the end of your career.

Awesome Naval base!! My son was stationed there for 15 months while attending Navy Nuclear training schools. The facilities are great - awesome location - friendly people and very close to Charleston!!! Staff seems to be very knowledgeable and certainly very family friendly.

This is a great Navy campus, I just wish the instructors weren't so needlessly harsh on all the students. The barracks rooms are a little cramped in some of the buildings but you won't be here too long so don't worry. They could use a real gym/gymnasium, the ones they have are not purpose built at all but they work.

Hahaha I just love that this place has bitter reviews from a bunch of nuke trash. Going through this place (and getting out after 8 years) was the best setup for my adult life I could've asked for.

The air conditioning is to-die-for, and by that I mean you can't live without it. Also, the "up" panel on the left side of the Dance Dance Revolution machine is sticky -- you'll have to hit it extra hard to get perfects.

This is where they start to siphon the souls of the sailors to power Rickover's stasis pod. If they survive this ordeal, they will use the leftover souls to help power the nuclear reactors in the fleet.

Mail staff dislikes cooperation and likes to leave early, making something as simple as package pickup difficult.

Although they got the big boy navy guns they don't have the power level of 9000 to control nuclear power of mass destruction. FIN

Difficult... to say the least. Also I think I lost my soul to the void.

Best learning experience ever, I learned I should've tried harder in high school and gone to college instead... In all honesty, this is the worst it gets in the pipeline, but you meet some great people here with whom you share a bond that'll last years. It's difficult, but nothing worth your time isn't.
