We love Petco and so do our dogs. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. Chaz W. is a great trainer and we enjoy seeing him every week at puppy training.

Amazing pet store! Clean and welcoming. Customer service is phenomenal! As well as educated on all products available. Especially liked the selection of fish and aquarium presentation.

They saved my cat!
I brought my kitty in to go shopping with me. He is always good on a leash. I have never had any problems with him.
Anyway, when we were leaving, he got spooked bolted away from me, dragging his leash behind me. I was a wreck, searching for him for almost an hour with no luck.
Then I got a phone call from Petco, they had him!
When he ran away from him he had a collar with his name and my phone number on it for situations like his, and a harness and a leash.
When he was found by some people in the parking lot who brought him in to Petco, he had none of that on. So seriously if he had not been brought to Petco, I may have never seen him again since he lost his tag.
But the woman at the register remembered Marble and remembered what I bought, so she looked me up and got my phone number because I have a rewards card and that is how we were reunited.
For some reason, my cat's claws were all worn down to bloody stumps. The woman who remembered him put some stuff on them to stop the bleeding and help them heal - which is so nice!
Seriously, if she hadn't been observant and noticed him and remembered what I bought, I would have lost him forever. They even let me stay after closing so I could buy my kitty a new collar and tag and fixed me up with a cardboard cat carrier.
They saved us! If anything, shop there because they have excellent employees.

Small but has everything needed for general pet care. Perfect for a quick trip.

It s cool to have a large pet supply chain store so close to home. I get food for our dogs here. The Pomeranian can be quite picky, so it s nice to have more than just a few options.

The staff was friendly and helped me out with the questions I had, without hesitation.

This is a good pet store. I have always been able to find what I need in this store, and it is well maintained and clean every time we visit. I contemplate buying a fish or a couple every time we go in, because their fish selection is just that good. They also have a variety of rodents available, as well as birds. Best pet store in town.

Decided on Valentine's Day that I wanted to get my girlfriend a cat tower as a present. Petco was the only store in my area with a good selection of quality options. Was pleased to discover I could save 20% by ordering online and picking up in store.

I love this store. It's always clean and the employees are actually genuinely helpful. The last time I went in here looking for some shrimp for my wife's fish tank, he not only offered a few options, he asked us enough questions to make sure her betta's tank was suitable for the fish plus some extra shrimp. Then the cashier saw we were buying kitten food and offered us a new kitten book of coupons that saved us almost ten bucks immediately and will save us even more in weeks to come. Definitely a better alternative to that other big box pet store in town. Just wish they were on our side of town!

This place was absolutely absurd. I walk Into the store to buy dog food. I walk to the back where the dog food is located and there is a cute dog sitting on the shelf where the dog food is at. An employee joked that the dog was on sale for the price marked on the shelf. I bend down to say hey to the random dog laying on the shelf where the dog food was at and behind me I hear a person (standing with the employee) say to me can you not in a very rude tone. This was so rude and disrespectful towards me as a costumer. Not only was the dog not on a leash but it was on the shelf of merchandise. The person stated that the dog was in training , which the dog was not wearing any markings to alert others the dog was in training . If the dog was in training first the employee should have stated that when joked about the price of the dog, second why was it on the shelf, and third why be rude to someone showing your dog some love.

Immaculate tanks, lively fish, a large variety of saltwater and freshwater fish. They carry live aquatic plants and several types of gravel and sand. The staff was phenomenal and friendly. I was extremely impressed by my visit. I will definitely be back for some moss balls and dog toys.

My dog Earl and I have had amazing experiences at the Petco in Bloomington. Earl absolutely loves going there and gets treats every time we check out! He also got his favorite toy there (a special yellow nylabone that I have not been able to find at any other store)!

The grooming staff is especially amazing. They know Earl by name and make sure that he is comfortable and happy when he arrives. He also looks very calm when I pick him up, which is great since baths really stress him out! The prices are especially amazing - he got a full groom/haircut including having his nails buffed for $43 (they also periodically send out 30% off coupons so it came to $30 with the coupon).

They are well stocked, but the prices are above average. The staff have sometimes been ready with negative comments if they see me buying something they wouldn't, but have never once actually greeted me or offered me help, and I resent that. I admire their youthful idealism and all, but it'd be better if it extended to their treatment of the customers, too. Petsmart is a little better, but unless I'm buying live animals, I prefer big box stores or online retailers.

Went to Pet Smart not only did they not know what I was talking about, but could not get help. Petco employees were helpful and very polite

People that work there are friendly. Also Petco staff has helped me save tons of money by convincing me to sign up for rewards when I went to go buy a flea collar for my cat.

The product I came in to buy was 20% off if I bought two; however, only one was available at this time. When I asked I was told that a delivery would be made the next day, but I could buy the one and still receive 20% off. I call that awesome customer service!

Had my 7 lb yorkie in for a groom. Price on receipt says "full-service groom"..but then was added 15 more for "shave, brushout,scissoring lg 15". Does this imply my dog was "large. Also what is considered "full service" if not doing nails, anal, typical grooming. WIll not be back for sure. Rip off

The staff at the Bloomington Petco are extremely helpful and friendly. I had ordered and paid for a large bag of dog food online (Merrick Lil' Plates Grain Free Real Texas Beef + Sweet Potato Small Breed Dry Dog Food which, btw, my Daisy LOVES!) ...). I was running errands over my lunch hour, so picking this up at the front checkout made for a quick and convenient stop. Ordinarily, I'd have to go to the back of the store to get it

Didn't have the specific betta food I was looking for but had other alternatives which was fine. Big store. Easy to navigate. Prices are a little more expensive than Walmart but of course there's more of a selection here. Nice staff and helpful every time I have come here.

I have two former feral cats who are 15 and 13 years old and they do not digest food well. I did find cans of food at a reasonable price and they love the flavor and the gravy and are not getting sick. I also bought lavender scented cat litter and it does not have dust in it.

Ever since Chaz started working at this location, we have had such great experiences at every visit! He always remembers us and our pets and is genuinely invested in their health and well being. His advice has helped us on too many occasions to count! He is your best customer service representative, by far, and I look forward to utilizing his help with dog training classes in the future.

There have been a couple of times when I've had difficulty finding someone to help me, but that seems more to do with possibly being understaffed and not to do with the staff themselves.

This is our go-to for our pet food. If you have the Petco Pals card and use it you can get some pretty reliable discounts on food. This store is usually clean and well stocked. Some prices and be high for leashes and accessories, but so far its the best deal we have found for picking up our dog food.

Went there for grooming services(2 rescue dogs) --- they were treated as if they were family! Very pleased with everything!

The cleanliness of the store was superb. Merchandise stocked. And sales were noticed by the tags that stood out. Friendly cashier. Everyone was wearing masks. The store was prevent covid ready; plexiglass up, employees wearing masks.

They have everything for pets. Their prices are a bit high but if you price check with their online store they will give you the online price which is generally lower.

I ordered an item online from a different pet store thinking it was Petco. Went to pick it up before I realized my mistake. The staff was very understanding and friendly.

Now on the list of places I no longer shop. Let's see, they changed the grooming hours and now the Groomer closes 2 hours before the store! I find out after I drag all three dogs to the store. Then when I realized I had paid $2.29 for food that the placard said was on sale for $0.89 and went back to the store, the jerk of a manager wouldn't fix it and he basically told me to be quiet so other customers wouldn't hear!

To the woman that helped me in the saltwater area bag up $500 worth of different creatures Thank you! I decided to buy my Saltwater from your Bloomington Indiana store instead of stores in indy and will do so again. The prices and selection along with the excellent customer service will have me coming back!

Wide variety of items for many different varieties of pets. Friendly and helpful staff.

For a chain pet store this store is very good and well stocked. Whether your looking for food for your doggy of litter for your kitty they have it. The fresh and saltwater fish selection is pretty impressive as well and serves all your aquatic needs.

Stock was hit and miss but the employees were helpful. It kind of felt like a local pet store instead of PetSmart which feels like a national chain.

This store has any dog or cat necessity you require! They have a selection of small pets such as birds, bunnies, gerbils/hamsters, small reptiles, fish, etc., and what is needed to care for your small pets including habitats! The last time we were there to get dog food and dental care items, they even had hermit crabs and ferrets! I imagine that their inventory changes periodically according to what is available.
A dog groomer is on-site as well.
One of my favorite pet items is the selection of dog treats available by per pound price...mix it up or pick one kind. I have a couple of 3 lb. Chihuahuas and I can only find the tiny dog treats (little bones) at Petco!

Petco has all the items you need for your pets. I specifically go in there for cat food and my fish tank needs. Megan is super nice and always helps me when I have questions about things.

The employee who helped us tonight in the dog food section was SO incredibly helpful and knowledgeable! I wish I would have gotten his name. He was able to recommend a new dog food brand with a great senior formula to us after our old dog suddenly decided she didn t like her kibble anymore.

We got home and she devoured it. I m so relieved she s eating again and very thankful to the employee for helping us!

They did have some saltwater fish and corals. I got a sea anemone for a good price. We will see how it goes. Their tanks were not clean so I probably won't go back since there is a closer fish store.

They were out of the certain brand of food for my pups but they had a smaller bag of the same stuff but it was double the price per pound. Kimberly was able to match the price per pound of the larger bag saving me about $8.
