Fantastic old building, where you know the history of the walls. The staff were amazing and you saw how the actors cost themselves on stage. No own parking nearby. In addition, there were some stiff prices in the bar. But it is to be expected at the National Theater.

The only reason I do not give 5 stars is because they have not yet set up the captain of the cable car or Christmas in the Blue Mountains, but otherwise this is an amazing theater! Lovely inside and out. I have had an absolutely superb brilliant experience here!

Here you talk productions, budgets above EUR 4 million. Dont forget to visit the Ibsen museum after or before watching the play. Feels like Ibsen is still alive here. Met the actors at Lawo Terasse after the play for some drinks last time I went there. 3 Ibsenplays in one night, tight knoted together in one play, hard for a non Norwegian guy to understand.

It is i karljohans gate the best area in Oslo. One of true underground station with connectivity to all stations. Nice sitting area there. It is relaxing to just sit there and watch people. You can get coffee and other food there.

The National Theater is located in central Oslo, easily accessible on a metro line, the National Theater. The theater building is very nice, and around the theater there is the main area of the city where you can find many shops and cafes. I have not had reason to see any results because I only visit the city for two days for work reasons.
